I stayed at the hotel for almost 1 week and felt very looked after by all the staff. They let me use the fridge and the kitchen when I need and overall were very friendly and helpful - which made my stay truly enjoyable. The room was nice, not huge but comfortable enough for one person and quiet as my window faced out into the courtyard. I tried the breakfast on a few occasions which was great too. Location was amazing, super close to everything, walking distance!

My only comment would be about the double bed which was made out of 2 single bed mattresses so it didn't quite feel like a double. It was comfortable enough but if I were to improve 1 thing - it would be that.

The room is okay. The location is in a quiet neighborhood but there are a few sights nearby, some cafes and restaurants, and public transport options. It's also an easy 15 minute walk from the train station if you don't want to pay for the tram. The staff was fine. One was friendlier than the other. We didn't buy the breakfast so can't comment on it.

The room was a bit small and there wasn't any wardrobe or drawers to unpack, but we only stayed one night so it wasn't that big of an issue for us. Small TV if you care about that, which we don't. Otherwise there was nothing negative.

Hotel Light is a cozy and cute hotel. The room in the second floor was very nice and clean. I really liked the interior and its design. Everything is close by, max 7 minutes walk: public transportation, 2 supermarkets, ATM, restaurants and shops.

In the bedroom, hooks for hanging e.g. toiletry bag. I had a lot of mosquitoes in my room after opening the window. A net in front of the window (from outside) prevents it.

Staff was very friendly , welcoming and property is well located and within walking distance from Central Station, Shops and restaurants. We came for the Rotterdam Marathon and received a gift to say good luck for the race which was very considerate and wonderful. Housekeeping provided us with an iron and an ironing board for our clothes.

Property doesn’t have a lift and walking up the stairs to the 2nd floor after running a marathon was a bit of a challenge.

Good location, good breakfast for my taste, and the entire company of 4 people is very good. Parking for cars approximately 0.5 km from the hotel for 25 euros per day. Friendly staff.

If you want to send a video to your friends, the speed via Wi-Fi will not please you at all, but it will not upset you too much. In our room, the bedside lamp did not have a button, and the plug was simply inserted and removed from the socket, but this is a small thing.

didn't like the self-checkin the room card failed to work in the lift on the last night and morning we left - if you are going to use the technology then you need to make sure it works! this also happened to my brother on the final morning in another room not good when you have someone who struggles with the stairs - which were quite frankly dangerous - they were a sharp spiral case and so small to step on! also, when I ran a bath, black long hairs appeared from the swivel tap area

I’ve come here roughly every 2 weeks in the past year for work. The employees are super friendly and helpful! Even if I’m the only guest enjoying breakfast they make sure it’s amazing. Fresh croissants, a good selection of condiments and the fruit is fresh and delicious. Veda are comfortable, a bit hard (I like it), and there is an airconditioning unit in every room.

Glad I didn't pay for breakfast, it was basic & unappetising. Reception is on 1st floor so they can't see you, I buzzed for entry & phoned for over half an hour with no response. I had to call booking agent to get them to call & tell them I was waiting outside. Not impressed.

Excellent location, ideal for touring Rotterdam centrum, within 10 to 15 min walk, yet lovely quiet location away from the hussle and bussle, also just a 10 to 15 min walk from train station, very friendly and helpful staff, hotel was very very clean.

Only issue is the stairs won't suit all but was still easily manageable for us. There is no elevator. Breakfast is ok.

The location was convenient, rooms are a good size, staff were lovely (could store my bags before and after checking in/out) and also accomodating if I needed anything extra (such as a blanket)

The in room tea selection could have been bigger, and the air con when warming didn't work great but otherwise a good stay
