We loved the central location, you can walk everywhere in the city centre, and there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Trams and busses are a short walk if you prefer. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant and really liked the food. Check in was smooth, and the staff at the reception always helpful with a smile. The room wasn't huge but modern and cozy, the bed big and comfy. Coffee machine in the room was a plus!

The only odd thing was the bathroom light, which goes on with a sensor even if you deactivate the room's lighting by extracting your card from the reader (and takes a ling time to switch off)... so, if you go to the bathroom during the night, the other person sleeping with you will know for sure!

I had a great stay. Loved the old building, the modern facilities, the room and the perfect location. Staff were helpful and friendly, especially Jay Jay and Amber who did my check in/check out and were very kind and accomodating, but also everyone at breakfast and doing housekeeping. Chocolate easter bunny surprise was cute. I would surely come back.

Just a few minor things: Breakfast is good (great coffee!) but definitely needs a bit more variety, mostly the non-sweet section. Bathroom furniture/sink is not very practical, more surface where to place stuff is needed. A/C-heating is quite noisy. You could hear water running constantly even when it was turned off. Fridge in the room is handy but putting it inside a closet is not the best idea since it overheats terribly. Great for keeping your clothes warm but not so much for other things inside the closet. Might want to remove that modular door.

All the members of staff we encountered were - without exception - friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Breakfasts were splendid and there was a good choice. The hotel is located centrally, but our room was very quiet. We liked the combination of an old building with modern facilities, and will be happy to stay again if we return to Den Haag.

The only real negative was the brilliant bathroom light that turns on automatically when your companion opens the bathroom door, which can jolt you awake during the night. Maybe provide eye masks, or suggest guests bring them? A large mug for tea would be a good addition to the hospitality tray. And please phase out those single-use plastic toiletry bottles!

Really nice hotel in a quiet area of central Den Haag. Everything very clean and staff were great. Walking distance from KFC which is always a good thing for any hotel.

Only 2 trivial things. 1. Daft emails about checking out online when you obviously can't hand over your key online, it takes 10 seconds in person and naturally you would go to the desk anyway to say thanks. 2. Woke eco nonsense like having a tree planted instead of your room cleaned. How exactly do trees give me fresh dry towels or sweep up my crumbs? These kind of gimmicks are to save hotels money and nothing more.

Excellent location. Requested a quiet room which obviously isn’t always possible in a city centre . Our small ‘comfort’ room (306)was fine for a 2 night stay & gave us a perfect night’s sleep with no in- house or external noise. Both the hotel & our room were immaculately clean.Bathroom was modern with plenty of hot water. Access is not a problem unless like us you are in your 70’s but the quickest and most direct way of getting to the hotel from the rail station is on foot. (about 6-10 minutes.)Taxis are expensive and have to navigate a circuitous route - particularly at present when the Binnenhof area is subject to extensive road works.

Nothing.It was as described.

The staff was nice, the breakfast was acceptable and the rooms were comfortable.

This hotel is actually three hotels that were joined together at some previous time. In order to reach our room we had to take a special elevator one floor up and then take another elevator one floor down. After the second elevator we were then able to walk to our room. Plus, our room overlooked the less than scenic garbage area. In the event of an emergency, I have no idea how we would be able to leave the hotel. The hotel has all of the amenities of a four star hotel, however no guests should be put in a room that requires this highly inconvenient and possibly dangerous way of reaching the room.

The hotel was comfortable and the restaurant attached to it had good food. Our room was comfortable and the staff very helpful. They allowed us to store our luggage after we checked out while we did some museum visits before we had to catch the train back to Amsterdam.

Someone at the desk should have explained about the key slot to turn the lights on in the room. We were in a half basement like room, where we could see out of the window but only a bit. The room smelled okay but the hall smelled musty and damp.

the staff were really helpful and friendly. The location cannot be bettered. Clean well appointed rooms. Breakfast was good if a little pricey.

sadly the lift didn't work to the third floor however the desk staff helped me with my suitcase. My room was at the back although my Dutch friend paid the same price and had a room overlooking the square. I don't think this is the fault of the hotel but more the confusing alternate booking systems. Still, i was irked.

This lovely hotel is the perfect combination of old and new. The facade (complete with window boxes) and the beautiful lobby give off an old world charm, but the rooms are thoroughly modern and very comfortable. the restaurant, BIT, has an excellent menu and wonderful staff. The location is right around the corner from the Parliament and old town, and a reasonable walk from Centraal station making this a great home-base for exploring Amsterdam, Haarlem, Rotterdam, Delft and more. The Hague seems much more relaxed & far less crowded than Amsterdam as well. We will definitely return to Hotel Corona.

Nothing-this hotel is great!!!

Bar/restaurant excellent. Staff were very polite and helpful. Corona is the nearest hotel to The Mauritshuis, The Bredius Gallery and the Willem V gallery, all of which were the point of our visit. Also - the Kunstmuseum is easily accessible by tram ouside hotel.

The older part of the hotel is unexciting and there was a problem with the main lift, which meant carrying cases up an extra flight.
