Very charming boutique hotel. The decor everywhere is beautiful, and the rooms are no exception. We had dinner in the restaurant after sightseeing all day, the food was delicious and somewhat reasonably priced. The bed was super comfy. Bathroom was spotless.

The windows are old, and while this definitely adds to the charm of the hotel, they were not properly closing at all... as a result the room was noisy and cold. Thank god for the warm duvet, I guess ? It was fine for our stay as the weather was okay-ish, but I can't imagine what temperatures you get in winter. Completely avoidable and unacceptable, in our opinion.

It's well located in the city, in a very quiet, desirable avenue and within easy reach of major tourist attractions on foot. Well served by public transport too. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and well serviced with a fridge and manageable air conditioning. Delicious food served both at breakfast and for evening meals in the restaurant at a fair price. Staff are very warm and welcoming.

Payment via booking.com is treated as a deposit. Need to be clear on whether you're breakfasting on booking or not to be mindful that the daily room rate and tourist tax change accordingly, despite paying ahead. Do not fret if you don't book breakfast. It can be easily sorted. More coathangers, please!

Location was delightful, quiet and elegant surroundings. Hotel terrace and dining area lovely, food was good, breakfast had an extensive choice and sevice was excellent. The front desk staff were very good, efficient friendly and very helpful, useful information.

One evening the waiter forgot our food order but as soon as we made them aware it was put right and we were not charged for the meal so they put it right. No complaints.

Lovely quiet location in the embassy area of The Hague and easy to find. I didn’t have a problem with parking, I parked on the street and paid about €3 from 10-12pm and then about €6 from 9-11am, it’s free between midnight and 9am. We got there late but the reception desk is manned until very late and the staff were very nice and helpful. The room had a lovely cosy feel but was spacious with a good bathroom, large comfy bed and a nice little balcony. I loved the traditional stately look and feel of this hotel which meets you as you walk in under the canopy and through the classic wooden revolving doors.

The breakfast wasn’t as plentiful as some hotels but there’s definitely enough on offer to give you a good breakfast and you can ask for extras such as eggs, which will be made fresh. Some of the decor is looking a little tired but it doesn’t detract from the traditional stately look and feel of this hotel and it definitely shouldn’t put you off staying here.

excellent location, very nice room

1. no answer to my mail about availability of car parking 2. funny that they hand you a voucher for free cava (1 voucher for 2 persons i.e. double occupancy). When you try to get the cava: they state: 1 voucher = 1 voucher ... 3. they promise free drinks if you forfeit room maintenance. You have to go to reception to ask these vouchers 4. they want to reserve money on my credit card but they do not tell me I have to type in my pincode ... credit card refuses and I start to think that my credit card was abused elsewhere ...

Second time visiting this wonderful and well located hotel in The Hague. The staff has been very kind and the rooms were amazing. Can't wait to re-visit this hotel next year! Also, a great variety of food and fruit for breakfast! Even eggs made to order. Maybe consider placing allergy information next to the food items. Could be quite a lethal guessing game for some.

It's not that i didn't like the rooms, they were amazing! Although i do have to say it was quite disappointing that they didn't repair the coffeemachine.

Great location, quiet. The room was clean with a 1960 feeling. Small balcony with 2 chairs for enjoying the morning coffee ☕. Soft clean beds, with an additional one for a toddler provided by the staff.

Booking.com lists this hotel as having a dedicated parking - and it has... 3 parking spots, of course already reserved. They recommend a nearby underground parking for 25 eur / 24 hours (which was actually 32 eur). Breakfast was tasty, but don't go in too late, they don't refill some of the items after 9:20 or so. Pushing open the door to our room was a feat of strength 💪

Very friendly and helpful staff (they let us leave bags and check in late), room was spacious, clean and the bed comfy. appreciated the separation of bath and shower and toilet. A very classical luxurious style fit leafy surroundings. Also great to have all the tram connections nearby.

It clearly has a past this hotel, not the most modern of designs or updating of facilities (e.g. bathroom) but thats part of the charm. Limited toiletry for this style of hotel and the holes in the bathrobe were a clear indicator of wear and tear.

Excellent central location within easy walking distance to all major attractions. Tram and bus services within 5 minutes walk. Breakfasts very good with lots of combinations to choose from. Room overlooked the main street but was very quiet and well decorated and comfortable. Staff very efficient, friendly and courteous - nothing too much for them. Bar well stocked and prices not exorbitant. Locally recommended restaurants excellent.

Only the weather spoilt the whole experience but we didn't let it stop us.

The location of the hotel is very nice, in a green quiet part of the city, but close to the center. The staff is very friendly and taking time to explain everthing in detail. The rooms are clean, and have a bit old-fashioned charm. The family room (with an additional bed) had enough space it, the balcony was very welcome. The breakfast room with a terrace was beautiful, too. The beds were comfortable, the covers warm enough even for winter.

The way the room was cut, we had a big bathroom, but a very small separate room for the toilet itself. Opening and closing the door of this room was a challenge. The shower was in the bath tub, which was very deep, so getting into and out of shower can be a challenge, even with the provided handles in the walls.
