Excellent location in Upper Riccarton. We asked for a quiet room and we had one tucked away at the back - didn't hear a sound and slept very well. The beds were very comfortable and the unit was clean. It was excellent value for the price.

The unit was very basic (but clean) but I wouldn't expect more for the price. The lounge couch was pretty old and springs broken but we weren't spending much time sitting in the unit so it didn't matter for us.

We made a very last minute booking just before they were due to close at 9pm. The owners were very accommodating in getting us a room and also supplying a portable bed for our child. They also gave us a thoughtful little gift for our daughter which was a very nice touch! The room was spotless and had everything we need for our quick stop. The hotel is just down the road from Riccarton Westfield mall, about a 10-20min drive to the city centre and Margaret Mahy playground depending on traffic. Very good value for money and we would definitely stay here again.

We could hear the person next door snoring but otherwise the room was very quiet for being on a main road.

Enjoyed our stay, our 5 yr old thought it was fun to sleep on fold out couch, shower brilliant! Nice hot wter and good shower pressure! Excellent Location was ok a bit further out for our needs but for the price was excellent Staff very friendly had no problem with parking either

Busy road hard sometimes to turn into motel otherwise nothing we didn't like about the room, apart from the fridge up too high and freeze everything in it!

Staff were friendly. We did arrive a little earlier however they were happy to check us in. The lovely lady that checked us in even personally escorted us to our room and gave my kids some matchbox cars. Very sweet gesture. The room was a one bedroom apartment with an open plan lounge kitchen & dining, and quite the spacious ensuite bathroom/toilet. There was a foldout sofa bed in the lounge. This accommodated for all of us. Amenities of the room catered to our needs.I very much loved the free use of laundry room. Only had to pay $2 for the powder which was a godsend, considering i had abit of washing & we were flying out the next day. Also, could use the dryer FOC, which was amazing. Location was central to everything. Only a 2 min drive to Riccarton Westfield, 5 minute drive into the city centre. 10 minute drive to the Airport. Very convenient to our needs. All in all, nice motor lodge that I'd be happy to book into again.

The mattress on the foldout sofa was quite uncomfortable to sleep on but I manage to get in sufficient sleep.

Easy to find, reception very helpful, especially with luggage up stairs. Very quiet room, even with windows wide open there was no street noise, felt secure and sufficient parking, though some spaces were a little small for big cars. Nice toiletries.

bit further away from mall than we usually stay, but no big issue. My partner is over 6 foot tall and the shower head only reached his chest! Usual in motels, but could be improved.

This was an amazing stay! The staff were amazing and accommodated to our needs perfectly, they are hands on and are around whenever needed. Housekeeping are lovely and keep your room in outstanding condition. We will definitely be back!

Everything was outstanding but would have loved to have a vacuum to help with keeping the room tidy. But everything else was perfect!

Clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The management kindly accommodated our request to switch from two rooms to a Large One-Bedroom Family Suite, and they even added a sleeping cot so nobody needed to sleep on the sofa bed. There was plenty of space for our family of six, and all our kids got their own bed. Loved the shower gel/shampoo provided, and the towels were all clean and fragrant. Great location close to the University.

Comfortable accommodation. Very clean and well maintained, Very friendly staff. I didn't get around to asking for asking for a late check out but on leaving & when I mentioned it hotel management said it would be no problem & advised that I could stay a bit longer if I wanted. That was very generous. I liked that always left some peppermints on the table every day.

We had a unit at the back so was away from the very busy road and was very quiet. Great to have free use of laundry and it was available all day. Comfortable beds, good heating and great shower

The staff we did see were good but the office was not often attended. There was a phone number you could ring for assistance but that was just a nuisance

The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to shopping and site viewing.

The shower roorm had an small issue with water overflowing onto the floor. Had to leave some towels on the floor for blocking.
