Very close to the city, uni and gardens. The unit although dated in decor was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly when we checked in and when we asked for anything extra. Good value for money.

We were in the unit close to the road so it was a bit noisy (something we didn't think of) and unfortunately couldn't be moved. Windows and mirrors could do with a clean to get off the many finger prints. Even though the rest of the unit was clean, it made you wonder how clean.

LOVED the 70s decor: Veneer wood panelled walls, bedroom layout, overhead kitchen storage. Windows on both sides of unit, so through-breeze was lovely. Large 2-bedroom units with separate bathroom, laundry. kitchen and lounge/dining. Flly equipped kitchen. Only 8 units in complex: 4 up, 4 down, so not noisy or congested.

Parking is tight: a large vehicle won't easily get around the building so may need to park on street. Upstairs units face directly onto pensioner units in next lot, so not a lot of privacy in either direction.

An older place that could use some tlc in parts, but it was definitely clean and comfortable. Very spacious for two people and two dogs. Shower pressure was great. Reasonably quiet for being on the main road. No central heating, but two small heaters were provided which kept our room cosy.

Complimentary coffee and tea were provided, but no milk, so be sure to bring your own.

Great beds. Great shower. Comfortable loungeroom - TV, lounge and dining table. Parking place right outside room. Nice walk to Dunedin CBD. Convenience store (old style milk bar) directly across road. Plenty of nearby take-aways. Very friendly and polite staff.

Was only there one night - nothing to dislike. It was clean, comfortable, in a great location, cheap and did everything it needed to do. Would very happily stay there again if ever visiting Dunedin again.

The staff is very caring. Even if we check-in late, they will help us turn on the heating in advance. There was something wrong with the room, they came to deal with it immediately. There is an exclusive parking space at the door, and the place is very convenient to go anywhere. You can also cook by yourself. The Wongkok restaurant recommended by the service manager was also very delicious.

The only drawback was that the motel is close to the road, and the sound insulation needs to be improved.

The room had two bedrooms so was nice and large for 4 adults. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything you would need. Lounge room and dining room was large and well furnished. Comfortable beds and plenty of cupboard space.

Exit was a bit tight as cars are parked in front of rooms. It was especially tight when a car is parked in the space right at the exit to street.

Convenient location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Place was clean and tidy. Really grateful that there was milk, tea, and coffee when we arrived after our long trip and there is a little dairy across the road and mcds/kfc 1 minute from the door.

The place is dated.. but in saying that, we really didn't care because of how lovely and clean the unit was.

Close to University and the Botanic gardens and Gardens shipping centre. Large motel space with cooking facilities. I think the listing is confusing, the bathroom facilities are in the unit, you are not sharing with other motel guests.

The motel is old and un-renovated, with tatty vinyl seats, but a large space and clean self contained unit.

Steven was very accommodating with checking in times and stayed late on occasion when I needed to check in late coming from hospital, he was very sympathetic to my cause. Thanks Steven, you made an already hard time less stressful!

Family friendly went out of there way to make us fell completely comfy
