Trish & John are extremely kind hosts. They took very good care of us and ensure we feel like at home. The terrace overlooking the wonderful garden is a perfect place for a drink at night or breakfast in the morning. We enjoyed it a lot. The bedroom is very comfortable. The bathroom well equipped and spot on. Many thanks and we will come back should we decide to visit the region again.

Everything about Al Der Rocs B&B exceed our expectations. It was my parents first night in New Zealand (ever!) and this blew them out of the water. Our extra requests were accommodated with ease (having gf options for breakfast) & everyone thought it was superb. Very quiet, great location, stunning view, wonderful hosts. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Breakfast was nice with a variety of fresh fruits and cold cereal, although I would have preferred a hot option. Overall a wonderful place to stay that I would recommend to friends.

Our family (with 2 children) really liked how accessible the property was from Kerikeri town Centre. We have both the Deluxe and Twin room and had our own private bath and toilet. Everything is provided for and the toiletries from the basics to the additional hair leave-on, muscle soak, bath salts after a day of going out and about are amazing. We had a relaxing sleep and the beds are so comfortable. Trish is so accommodating of our request of late check-in and both her and John had prepared a fresh and healthy breakfast for us. They even have fresh fruits like bananas and some from their own garden - passion fruit, plum, and pear. We enjoyed our cereals, fruits and yoghurt and our chat with the lovely couple. Had a lovely view of the Harbour and sailboats from our window and the surroundings and the garden are well-kept and so serene. We enjoyed our stay in Alder Rocs! 😊

I liked the overall experience of a beautiful setting and the nice breakfast overlooking the lovely gardens looking out to the bay with the boats. The hosts John & Trish are very hospitable and made me feel very at home, we had a good chat at breakfast.

Nothing in particular, possibly a tea / coffee station in the bedroom may be an option, even though the kitchen isn't far away, also means you won't disturb the hosts if you're up early or awake late.

The location is rural and quiet with a lovely view over distant bay and hills. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and great in giving us info about local attractions and sights. I can really recommend this bed & breakfast which is so nice and value for money.💐🙂

John and trish were very accommodating. Helped and guided us well. Breakfast is also very fresh and good for a continental type. Fresh fruits, spreads cereals and also lactose free options. Very peaceful place in middle of nature and greenery… thanks a lot

They were a lovely couple who accommodated our needs. I was worried a little about having the kids, but AL Der Rocs were so lovely and being grandparents themselves that they were very kind and considerate of the children. The children enjoyed running around the beautifully landscaped yard.

Beautiful Setting Trish and John could not have been more helpful especially John who chauffeured us around as we didn’t have a car both great hosts.

A little far from the town so we took advantage of our host drove us down to the Bay

The location was beautiful, lovely coming to the accommodation, nice hot shower and a coffee waiting for me. Heaven sitting relaxing and looking out to the harbour. John and Trish were very lovely host. Would definitely go and stay for a few nights instead of the one night.
