The staff were super nice and the facilities available are amazing! The place is so tidy and We traveled from auckland so the price we paid for the studio rooms is so affordable and exceeded well above our expectations.

The remote for the tv is delayed. Thats it :)

Everything. This hotel is a must stay if you are in Keri Keri. Set in a beautiful wooded and tropical plant forest setting. It is stunning. You are in another world at the Avalon. Rooms/ cottages are well equipped with a huge bbq on the patio with tables and chairs which enables Al fresco dining. Kitchen with all the cutlery, pots/pans and crockery you might need. A great stay and very comfortable as well as quiet. We will stay again. Kids would love this place too. It also has a self service laundrette.

The main office and some of the accomodation is accessed by a road/track which needs some attention to repair the pot holes, Driving down this in the dark is pretty harsh on the cars suspension. I did drive with care. Promise. The car survived. I was told that plans were in place to carry out an upgrade on the road/track.

The resort is secluded and quiet while boasting a beautiful green scenery upon entering. My partner and I stayed in a studio which is conveniently situated next to the spa, sauna, pool and river for kayaking. Must try the kayaking. Our host Brad spent a lot of time and effort into welcoming us and making sure we were comfortable with our accomodation and the facilities available. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful; they pointed us locations around the area to visit as well as going the extra mile to prepare a nice gift for us since it was our 3 year anniversary.

Nothing to dislike.

The accommodation is located close to all the amenities but feels secluded and away from the busy main road. It is nestled on the side of a hill surrounded by native trees and plants. The accommodation is spacious. The cooking facilities inside allow you to cook or take your food down to the communal bbq area by the pool. Everything from the beds to the decor is quality. Although a minor thing, the soap dispenser in the bathroom did not work. But within a short time it was replaced with a new one.

The potholes. But actually not that much of a bother it really makes you slow down and watch out for the ducks. It is a narrow driveway and at some bends of you have to be careful. Being cautious is not a big ask!

Nice and secluded lodge down a hill surrounded by nature. Nice natural pool and lovely deck to sit and enjoy your surroundings. Kerikeri bakehouse at the top of the drive was awesome. Great pies and numerous bakery delights. Good coffee. Family was able to just chill out after big day trips to nearby beautiful locations like rainbow falls.

Dishwasher probably needs some maintenance and a few more dishes could be provided...but we don't mind washing by hand so this wasn't really a big deal. Awesome place I would highly recommend it.

The room was absolutely gorgeous! I personally loved the interior. The bed was tall and comfy. The property itself is beautiful with many ponds and walkways and ducks everywhere. They also have a cat on the property which we loved. There was a natural pool, spa and sauna on site which all looked well maintained but we unfortunately didn't have the time to unwind. The location was quite central and the owner gave us dinner recommendations which we really appreciated. We're already making plans to return!

Getting in and out took a while as the property itself is huge and the roads are a bit narrow. We didn't mind it during the day cus the view was amazing but I was slightly anxious driving there in the dark.

We loved being in the center of town but feeling like we were tucked away in our own slice of paradise. The pool was amazing - we loved that there were no chemicals. The spa was great too. The cottages were a good distance from each other. The ground were stunning. It was such a magical place. Wonderful staff too ❤️

The plentiful ponds were a happy place for mosquitoes so I highly recommend closing up at dusk and using the air con if you need to cool down. We were bitten so badly the first night. The beds are firm which isn't to my liking

Beautiful bush property well off the road. Mike, the owner was brilliant- so hospitable and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Great facilities with sauna, pool barbecue and spa all well maintained with absolutely everything you needed.

Signage!! Driving in from Auckland, you were on top of the entrance without any prior signage which necessitated an abrupt stop and sharp turn into the drivewaywith traffic right on your tail. Suggest some signage a couple of hundred meters up the road with Avalon Resort 200 mtr.s

Good shower , big bathroom Well equipped kitchen Good access to laundry Main room was beautiful , huge comfy bed AC in living room Single beds were comfy Balcony was cute and lovely view Didn't use the spa area which was a shame for us as it looked lovely- nice natural pool, spa pool and small sauna and BBQ are. Easy access Lovely setting and just down from the high street with cafe/restaurant/shop ect Chickens and birds roaming around, one even came into our kitchen :)

Nothing really, it was great!

The cottages have enough space between them to create your own place in Keriketi vibe. The bed was large, comfortable and the sheets were crisp and clean. We enjoyed the free spa and were able to bbq our dinner afterwards. Theres is a sauna as well. A great feature was the heat lamp in the bathroom which was great for children in the winter. Avalon has a natural spring feeding its pool which is a natural waterhole and fabulous. The drinking water was great! , You will hear the Ducks, the friendly Hens and Tuis singing (native NZ bird) in the morning while you sit on the deck watching the sunlight on the pond outside. Scenic, peaceful and totally recommended.
