The staff were lovely and very attentive - we were given new towels, new teas/coffees and new soap bars/shampoo sachets every morning. Bed was very comfortable, balcony was lovely to sit at in the sun at lunchtime, and the kitchen has good facilities with a microwave, toaster, gas hob and electric hob. Shower had good pressure. Laundry facilities on site were also a big bonus (2 dollars for a wash, and 2 dollars for the dryer). Flowers around the motel are gorgeous, and the cats were cute.

We loved the cats, but the smell of cat urine was quite strong (not in the bedrooms, but around the motel). The rooms themselves could do with a bit of updating, notably the fake tiles stuck around the sink and cheap flooring coming unstuck in the bathroom. The useful facilities made up for this though and we still enjoyed our stay.

Price - about £75 a night for a whole apartment. The owner took the trouble to show me around and explain how everything worked, which was kind. Milk and bottled water were supplied. The place was very clean and cosy. It was also comfortable, especially the bed. The sitting room had two sofas. Fresh towels and additional coffee, etc were provided on the second day. The location was good: just 15 minutes from the tourist information office, where the intercity buses stop; and a couple of minutes from a Countdown supermarket; central Rotorua is quite small, so I was not far from anything in town.

Nothing amiss. It is not the .most modern of apartments but the price reflects this.

I have stopped here quite a few times, but not for a while. The staff are lovely and welcoming, the rooms are warm and comfortable with plenty of room and you can cook a meal if needed. The bathroom is a nice size and plenty of hot water. Towels changed everyday and are always fresh and clean. Also nice and quiet with parking onsite.

There is nothing not to like, although a possible decorating spruce up would be good.

Nice reception although it didn't smell very nice in there, the man was lovely and led us to our room about showed us around

There were stains on the single bed cover, also a pillow case had slipped off one of the pillows on the large bed, that pillow was quite disgustingly yellow, and unfortunately covered by a nice clean white pillow case, meaning that no one would notice, yucky, I'm going to keep this in mind for next time we travel

The room was always warm and had lots of facilities. Very cozy and comfortable for what we needed. Also the internet was a decent speed for video streaming.

The outside light would be sensor triggered at random times of the night, and there is a slight hum from the fridge or some other device, but was not a huge problem.

Spacious apartment with good facilities and well equipped kitchen. Nice to arrive to some fresh milk and bottled water. Teas, coffees, clean towels every day if you want them ( we didn’t), plus laundry facilities. Flowers and plants around the place gave more character. Also nice and quiet location! Efficient check in and the lady owner was especially lovely.

Nothing. Some might find it’s not as ‘boutique’ as they might prefer, but go ahead and pay another $100 a night!

Close to town. Clean and comfortable.

Pool was closed. Wifi very intermittent. Room dated and a bit knocked around but comfortable. The many cats were a surprise as were the cat barriers at each room . Lucky neither of us had a cat allergy. Room not cleaned during our 7 day stay (but given clean towels and supplies). Apparently due to Covid

Was super easy to find and great parking. Super friendly and lovely hosts. Room was bright and airy. Had a gas stop stove, microwave, jug and actual good sized coffee mugs. Beds super comfy and fantastic water pressure in the shower. The real bonus though was the gorgeous kitten outside :)

Some of the wall coverings were peeling off in the bathroom and the room was a bit dated but was still very clean.

Walking distance to supermarket and mall. Great location. The room was just like the pictures, beautifully furnished and decorated. Staff were lovely. The spa and pool were closed due to covid which was disappointing to find out only on arrival, but other pools in the city were all open. If you don’t like animals…. Then not ideal as they have lots of cats and a dog, although they didn’t bother anyone. Had a fabulous stay and would definitely stay again.

The room needed a spring clean. Cobwebs and spiders on the ceiling corners in all rooms. Almost all of the walls needed a proper wipe down with jif. Pillows weren’t very comfy. Not enough plates and cutlery in the room for each of us. But we made it work. So just a bit more attention needed. But none of this would stop me staying again. Just minor stuff

We were charged extra 25$ for 6 yrs old but they upgraded our booking and gave us a spacious family unit (1 bedroom), the room decor was nice and included everything kettle, microwave, gas cooktop, utensils, small milk and gave us 3 bottles of spring water. We stayed only one night and unable to use pool or spa. Motel is in a quite private street and top location ( surrounded by shops and supermarket). Host were very friendly and we really liked how the lady owner said goodbye to us, will stay there again for sure.

The single bed in the bedroom was not good, very soft as per my liking and ruined my sleep altogether. Bull dog clips were provided to close the curtains.
