Overall it was a Nice experience. The Rooms were clean. I really LOVE the fact there are NO Cushion pillows and that's on the Bed. Also I don't like the Blanket that most motels dress up at the foot of the bed. The reason is, it's not washed between guests. I just like clean white sheets and pillows. So that's what this motel provided.

There were a bit of cobwebs in the general area near the reception. But when we pointed out to the staff, they were quite appreciative and got it cleaned right away. So it was all good.

Great stay! The reception/manager was lovely and provided me with an extra heater (I am a cold person) and remembered my name each time we saw each other! I was upgraded to a bigger room on arrival. I was able to park my hire car outside my window which was great. You can get change from reception for the laundry facilities. Everything in Rotorua was about a 6 to 10 minute drive from the motel, so it was a great location! I was able to walk to my car hire place (RAD Care Hire 10 - 15 minutes).

The car park is a little tight, so you just have to take a little extra care.

Emily was helpful and responsive! The instructions for self check in was simple and easy to follow. The reception was a close distance. We had our own parking in front of our room in the first floor. There was a small mineral pool accessible to guests, it needed booking but was well contained so it felt private. Our rooms were big. It had a smart TV and our own spa pool, outside which instructions were also easy to follow.

Just some minor things that didn’t degrade our stay, but would be awesome for it to be revised. The beds were on the softer side. I didn’t lose sleep but not sure how it would help older quests. The shower box door leaked water quite a bit to the point we had to lay down another towel on the floor. There was some hair on the kitchen dish brush so just used a rag instead.

Very clear, warm communication from the beginning from the staff. We were able to check in earlier than expected. Our Queen Deluxe room was pleasantly spacious, modern and super clean. Comfortable bed and had everything we wanted. Quiet room at the end of the hallway, motel was very close to the supermarket, on a quiet end of Fenton Street. I would definitely come and stay here again.

Nothing. It was perfect.

Location was excellent. Close to town and exceptional Restaurant close by. Internal Room entry was very well received and security and feeling of safety was excellent. Quietness was excellent having the blackout curtains was very good as we came in from a different time zone and were tired with the daylight saving and our body clocks not in sync so the ability to rest in the early evening was appreciated.

Carpark was a little tight but we did have a larger vehicle.

Good location on Fenton street and had nearby eateries either walkable or short driving distance away. Room was clean and large. Had cooktop stove and cooking equipment which met our needs.

Assigned room was on the second floor and there was no lift. The stairs are not flat so care needs to be taken when going up and down. Other than that it was a pleasant stay!

We checked-in somewhat last minute having had to move from our original accommodation due to a hygiene/environmental issue. The receptionist could not have been more accommodating, even willing to stay beyond normal reception closing time to facilitate our arrival. The studio we stayed in (#14) was sparkling clean, bright, spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen facilities are excellent and laundry is also available on-site 24/7.

The mineral pools were unfortunately being serviced during our stay.

A very friendly welcome and explanation of the facilities. Our room, number 16, was lovely, very bright and airy. We were in the main block and certainly our room looked like it had been renovated very recently. Spotlessly clean as was the whole hotel public areas, ie stairs, corridors, reception. We had asked for a quiet room and our room was at the back of the hotel away from the road. A well equipped kitchen including some milk for the teas and coffees, a very comfy bed and two Easy chairs, a table and chairs, plenty of storage and a lovely shower room. The hotel is about 15 mins walk to the tourist info office and main centre of Rotorua. 25 mins walk from the hotel to Eat Street and easy road access to the many sights. The cleaners do a fab job and we noticed all windows wide open after guests departed. A great find, fab rates and lovely staff.

Nothing at all about the hotel. Fenton Street is very long with numerous motels, some of which look very dubious. Thermal Oak Motel is situated at the far end in a much nicer section opposite the race course.

Location was good

There was no paywave in the property so I had to get my card from car and was shifting the luggage to the room. Meanwhile the guy in the reception came and knocked at the door for payment. In New Zealand no body runs without giving payment. You need to be a little judgy on who is what. The room 2 is extremely hot and no fan in the room

We enjoyed our accomodation very much, fresh clean room had everything we needed.Loved the location close to everything which was handy. I Would definitely recommend this place to others.

A chromecast or something like that would have been perfect as there wasnt really anything child friendly for the children to watch.
