We loved that Clearbrook had everything you could possibly need for a short stay in Wanaka. The full kitchen and laundry facilities were definately appreciated to help keep costs down (we made sandwiches and brought snacks for the ski trips) and used the laundry so we had clean clothes before we left. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The motel is literally so close to everything ! We had a room on the second floor - we also loved hearing the babbling brook on the property.

Everything was great! No complaints here (oh except for the neighbours next door who on one night partied till 2am)

Rooms not serviced daily and when we put sign out for servicing, only the very basics were done. Recycling was not emptied, tea, coffee facilities and bathroom supplies were not replenished. Stayed 7 nights, pay the same price per night as someone staying one but the value is far less than if you were only staying one night. Perhaps a discount should be offered for longer stays if unit not going to be serviced/replenished on a daily basis.

This motel was one of the nicest I have stayed in over years of staying in motels all around nz. The location …so convenient just a 2 minute walk to wanaka village. Motel staff very friendly efficient and helpful. The unit ..spacious well appointed with everything supplied of good quality clean and very safe area. As a senior person i rate this motel very highly would stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

There wasn’t anything that I was happy with

PERFECT! I have to say that Clearbrook is the best stay amongst the 7 other motels i had stayed in during my 15 days of travelling in South Island. We had 4 adults and 1 infant, and we were given the duplex apartment. The apartment came with an ensuite washer, dryer, and even a dishwasher! The entire apartment was well maintained and super clean. The location is also incredible, just a short 2mins walk to the town shopping area. We had an incredible stay. Will highly recommend!

Great location for Wanaka centre. The 1 bedroom apartment is spacious and kitchen has all utensils required. Nice bathroom with washer and dryer. Really quiet had best night sleep in ages and has a stream running out front, also the Wifi was excellent. Would highly recommend and definitely would stay again.

A fabulous motel! This was our fourth visit & we've had the same unit for the last 3 times! The setting is lovely with the brook running through the grounds. It's in a quiet location yet less than 5 minutes walk to the New World Supermarket & the wonderful Cinema Paradiso. A must for any visit to Wanaka! The town & waterfront are just another few minutes walk. It's our favourite motel in NZ & we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Wanaka!

The only thing missing is a swimming pool but that has never put us off! There is a public swimming pool in the town anyway.

This was the best accommodation we had on our recent holiday. Exceeded all expectations. The brand new kitchen wanted for nothing. The bathroom included the laundry facilities but was so roomy it was enjoyable to see so many good things in the one room. It was the only shower I had encountered in our travels that didn't have black mould growing on the base. This was in part due to the shower being over the bath, but the bath was easy to step into if you don't have any mobility issues. Walking to the shops and shoreline was as simple as crossing the road. It was better than the alleged four and five star hotels we stayed in on the same trip. Real value for money. Would stay there again, any time.

This was a lovely apartment with a wonderful deck overlooking a babbling brook outside. We also had an amazing mountain view! The room was very spacious with a nice kitchenette, comfortable bed and great bathroom. Parking was very convenient just below our room. The location is within walking distance of all the downtown shops and restaurants as well as the lakefront. Wish we could have stayed here more than just 2 nights!

The apartment had everything we needed. There are plenty of towels and toiletries. It was warm, and the location was excellent to get to town.

You can hear the people in the next apartment if you have a connecting door behind the couch. The sound goes through the door, and you can hear their voices as if they were in your room with you.
