Well placed for access to shops and restaurants; professional presentation; very useful kitchen/dining room for self-catering; lovely stream passing through a well planted garden; deck to relax on in warm weather.

The access advice from booking.com was different from what we had to do when we arrived. I had to call the property to find out how to get in. They were very helpful. An email from booking.com about access arrived after we’d checked in. The room was a bit too compact for us. There was no fridge but a very good fridge in the shared kitchen. Parking was a bit tight but manageable with care.

Fantastic location, comfortable walking distance to Wanaka town and lake. Super easy check-in process, and room is very comfortable and clean. Garden area and stream is beautiful and peaceful and the spa area was a nice bonus. Shared kitchen is spacious, and has dedicated fridge space per room which was super helpful.

The milk carton left in our room was not replaced, and was half consumed when we arrived. Our room was also right next to the shared kitchen, which meant it was loud very early in the morning as people started to congregate there. Otherwise perfect!

Great location, only a few minutes walk into town. The hot tub was a great way to unwind after a day of skiing. Check in process was very simple - although we didn’t see a single staff member the entire five nights we were there!

The kitchen could have been better stocked. Essentials such as olive oil would have helped a lot. They had a washing machine but no dryer which meant I couldn’t do our laundry as I’d hoped.

Great little boutique style accomm with not too many rooms. The rooms are nice and clean with comfy beds. Also plenty of parking. The garden is gorgeous and we spent hours outside reading in the sun - there’s plenty of lovely touches such as seating, umbrellas and cushions. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked great. It’s very close to the town, just a short stroll downhill.

- We didn’t get the code for checkin so that was a bit stressful having to get hold of someone to help but it was resolved quickly - The property kind of gave me a youth hostel vibe. It’s not a negative, just not what I was expecting.

Check-in and check-out was simple. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom sizes were large. The private patio with chairs and table were nice. Perfect room for a couple.

Although there is supposed to be a parking spot per guest, the spots are not clearly marked and are dependent on the guests parking in an efficient manner. We were not able to park in front of the building and instead had to park on the street a short walk away.

- There was no need for interaction as all the instructions were provided via email or text message - The available hot pool was great - The kitchen was well equipped - The area was quiet, but close to the lake and promenade

- the room was a bit small, but you had extra space on the room terrace in the backyard - depending where you room is located, you might need to climbsome narrow stairs. Difficult if you have a big lugagge

This was a beautiful lodge and exceeded my expectations on arrival. Very quaint, cute and convenient for walking to Lake Wanaka. The rooms were lovely and liked that the fridge had your own rooms basket in it for any of your food or drinks. Also, a communal area for eating and outside hot tubs and garden, although we didn't use them due to time, this looked like really nice amenities provided. Very convenient onsite parking.

Excellent room and house. Very clean and good quality linen and bathroom. Shared kitchen is big and there you can really do your own food, if you want. Good grocery and restaurants in walkable distance.

For some reason we had small problems in communication and I got only minimum answers my questions. That’s a reason I didn’t understand that all restaurants are closed in Christmas even I ask it. So very special Christmas was very poor Christmas. But the house is great even it’s quite expensive.

Wonderful stay at Wanaka Springs Lodge. The property is really beautiful and spacious with a large lounge and fully equipped kitchen/dining room. Each room had space in the shared fridge. My room was large and had a wonderful shared deck with chairs to sit out in the evening. The bed was super comfortable and everything was sparkling clean. There was tea/coffee making facilities in the room which was really nice to have. The bathroom was large and clean. The shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. The Lodge was down a cul-de-sac, so no traffic noise at all, but still within easy walking distance of restaurants and shopping. There are supermarkets close by as well. Wish I would have stayed longer!
