Lovely stay very close (walking distance) to the centre of Wānaka which was very convenient. The bathroom looks like it’s been updated and we were upgraded to a mountain view room which was lovely. The check-in process was very easy.

Just a couple of things to keep in mind when booking, the soundproofing isn’t great so we could hear others in nearby rooms easily. The living, balcony and kitchen areas are all common.

Well placed for access to shops and restaurants; professional presentation; very useful kitchen/dining room for self-catering; lovely stream passing through a well planted garden; deck to relax on in warm weather.

The access advice from booking.com was different from what we had to do when we arrived. I had to call the property to find out how to get in. They were very helpful. An email from booking.com about access arrived after we’d checked in. The room was a bit too compact for us. There was no fridge but a very good fridge in the shared kitchen. Parking was a bit tight but manageable with care.

Fantastic location, comfortable walking distance to Wanaka town and lake. Super easy check-in process, and room is very comfortable and clean. Garden area and stream is beautiful and peaceful and the spa area was a nice bonus. Shared kitchen is spacious, and has dedicated fridge space per room which was super helpful.

The milk carton left in our room was not replaced, and was half consumed when we arrived. Our room was also right next to the shared kitchen, which meant it was loud very early in the morning as people started to congregate there. Otherwise perfect!

Lovely clean accommodation. Well appointed. Nice quiet street. Nice outdoor sitting area. Easy to get into beautiful town.

The thin walls. We could hear the couple next door talking and the guy peeing. We had room near kitchen. Thankfully, it wasn’t used but would definitely hate any of those back rooms in busy periods. However, my suggestion is ask for rooms 1 or 2 or 7/8 if you are a couple. Otherwise, lovely rooms.

Peaceful and quiet spot but that's only a short walk from the town centre. Lovely building, modern and clean with the room having a patio door that led straight out to a nice garden. Good room and furnishings, was a comfortable nights stay. Not really a positive/negative but just more interesting that we never saw the owners/anyone working there during our stay. Key was in an envelope on the door and check out was key in the mailbox. Different but had a nice stay!

Great location, only a few minutes walk into town. The hot tub was a great way to unwind after a day of skiing. Check in process was very simple - although we didn’t see a single staff member the entire five nights we were there!

The kitchen could have been better stocked. Essentials such as olive oil would have helped a lot. They had a washing machine but no dryer which meant I couldn’t do our laundry as I’d hoped.

Check-in and check-out was simple. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom sizes were large. The private patio with chairs and table were nice. Perfect room for a couple.

Although there is supposed to be a parking spot per guest, the spots are not clearly marked and are dependent on the guests parking in an efficient manner. We were not able to park in front of the building and instead had to park on the street a short walk away.

This was a beautiful lodge and exceeded my expectations on arrival. Very quaint, cute and convenient for walking to Lake Wanaka. The rooms were lovely and liked that the fridge had your own rooms basket in it for any of your food or drinks. Also, a communal area for eating and outside hot tubs and garden, although we didn't use them due to time, this looked like really nice amenities provided. Very convenient onsite parking.

- There was no need for interaction as all the instructions were provided via email or text message - The available hot pool was great - The kitchen was well equipped - The area was quiet, but close to the lake and promenade

- the room was a bit small, but you had extra space on the room terrace in the backyard - depending where you room is located, you might need to climbsome narrow stairs. Difficult if you have a big lugagge

Great little boutique style accomm with not too many rooms. The rooms are nice and clean with comfy beds. Also plenty of parking. The garden is gorgeous and we spent hours outside reading in the sun - there’s plenty of lovely touches such as seating, umbrellas and cushions. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked great. It’s very close to the town, just a short stroll downhill.

- We didn’t get the code for checkin so that was a bit stressful having to get hold of someone to help but it was resolved quickly - The property kind of gave me a youth hostel vibe. It’s not a negative, just not what I was expecting.
