The Hotel itself is perfect for a short stay to visit the city. Everything can be reached with a short walk. The Breakfastbuffet ist EXCELLENT!!! Tip for MOTORBIKER: We Parked our Motorbikes at the Harbor, about 7 mins away by foot, there was no parking fee. They survived 2 Nights without getting thrown into the water and we received no Ticket. Might be a good spot for other bikers, cause the parking garages are really expensive and you need a ticket for each bike!

The Bed was very soft. It seemed, like the matrasses were missing. There was just the Bottom of the Boxspringbed and the Topper on top of it. Maybe it was meant to be this way, but it made the bed way too soft for us. Someone else might like that though.

Location in the old harbour tourist area is perfect. Free to use laundry facilities. Good breakfast buffet included in the price.

Additional cost for parking is annoying but at least it’s stated on the listing. I had messaged when I booked requesting a reservation but then on arrival was told that I didn’t have a reservation and given so much attitude by the woman at the counter. When she realised it was their fault that they didn’t read the message I sent, she barely got out a grumpy apology. Then we were sent to a different parking garage a block away at a cost 100nok per day higher than the hotel would have charged us. The room was very small. On the weekend the breakfast room was so full we had to wait quite some time for a table. Lots of individuals and couples sitting at tables setup for 4-6. The room could have been arranged better to facilitate more people.

Great location with a quick walk to the tourist center but far enough away that you're not constantly in the hustle and bustle. Small but adequate breakfast selection. Everything was very clean.

Bathroom needs updating. While very clean, everything just felt old. The hair dryer kept stopping, the shower head sprayed forcefully everywhere and hooks were broken. Also blackout curtains would be great in the summer, or really any curtains that aren't orange making you feel like you're inside a womb.

I liked the breakfast. It was plentiful and varied. I appreciated the free tea in the lobby. A wonderful treat when coming back in from the "spring" weather! Location was good too. Close enough for easy access to attractions and restaurants, but not smack dab in the middle of all the action and noise. Hotel staff was very helpful in an early breakfast box and booking a taxi to the airport.

It's not that there was anything I didn't really like, it was just a bit more basic than I expected. I thought the heater could have been better and I was surprised that there was no clock in the room. Maybe that's a Norwegian hotel thing? Blackout curtains were appreciated, though I think they shouldn't have had white panels, as they still let in some light prior to full dark.

The front desk staff was always helpful and accommodating. We were right on the harbor and could see from our room on the fifth floor. As far as the included breakfast, it was one of the best we have ever experienced with so many selections at the smorgasbord style breakfast bar, nicely presented in a beautiful dining room. The sitting area in our room was large enough to entertain our traveling companions. Coffee and tea was always available at the nicely appointed drawing room just off the hotel lobby.

While our room was large enough and adequately comfortable for our needs, it was in need of furniture upgrades. The bathroom and shower was very small with just enough room to turn around in.

We arrived at the hotel after being on a night train to Oslo and we were exhausted after not getting much sleep and we had a boat trip at 10am. We went to the hotel to see if we could leave our bags and a lovely woman on reception took care of us and let us leave our luggage and offered us coffee/tea and a place to rest in the lounge and relax a bit before our boat trip. Everyone was very friendly and the breakfast was absolutely incredible. I would definitely stay here again when returning to Bergen. The price was also very reasonable and location excellent. Rooms very nice, comfy and quiet.

Nothing, everything was perfect!

All three were good and we liked it. There was a just a single staff to manage the entire facility. Keep a snack like cookie or biscuits along with beverages for the guest once they enter the premises after a long travel.

Nothing in particular. Travel industry requires human touch - the lesser interaction - irrespective of automation coming in full swing. Personalised service with human touch gives a finnesse to the quality of service.

Central location. Only a couple minutes to the waterfront and Bryggen. We didn't expect much considering the reviews on Booking, but it was better than expected. We had a view of the back and of the street in front of the hotel (2 rooms). It was a quiet room. The bed were good and the room was spacious. The breakfasts was delicious. Lots of healthy options to choose from. The hotel has some reserved parking spots on the other side of the street. I mailed the day before arrival and we had one of those spots. It costs only 150 Kr per day. The personnel at the desk was friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

The windows desperately needed a cleaning.

I thought the breakfast was excellent, hot and cold and everything you could wish for. No kettle on the room, but in The lobby there is a coffee machine with tea bags cups, sugar, milk etc free to hotel guests and you could take a cup of coffee up to your room if you wanted to. Rooms are good, there are some reports of them being outdated, but I thought they were fine. Hotel is located 15 minutes walk from the train station.

The restaurant staff could have smiled occasionally.

Nice room with comfortable beds. Good blinds with and placement of plugs. Great breakfast and plentiful. Lots of options to choose from, vitamin shots and fresh fish included.

We were put in a different building than the reception desk which gave bad vibes. The thick carpet made it impossible to drag the luggages. Bathroom cleanliness was less than perfect and parking is further than expected (opposite the other building). The lobby had free coffee and tea but the milk has gone bad.
