Apartment was clean, spacious, has complete equipment, good location directly in the city centre. Few minutes walk to the harbour. Checkin was uncomplicated with the safe box, friendly and super personal.

1. There's a building construction, so it was very noisy at some time 2. The light configuration is kinda confusing for me 3. I guess they only clean the apartment after check-out, so we should ask for a soap-refill, or if we need a new towel

The location is great. Since it's the city centre, it is always bustling with people and a lot of attractions are walking distance. The room had a kitchen and basic utensils (but no condiments like sugar, salt, oil, etc, which I find in other places). Having a kitchen was helpful since I was travelling with 2 kids under 3 years old.

There was a construction happening right in front of our room, and it was noisy. I had little kids, and I stayed for 4 days, so I requested cleaning after 2 days, but it was never done. The garbage was not taken out and left in the balcony, which the birds tore open, and the balcony remained dirty for 2 days.

We reserved the one bedroom, which was on the 8th floor. Remodeling was going on throughout our stay. Weather was very warm and had no AC and windows in kitchen wouldn’t open, so no cross breeze to cook down. Beds were comfortable, comforter was too heavy, but all we had for covers and pillows smelled a bit musty. Location was good. Unfortunately, we were their during Pride Parade week and it was very old and noisy until 2:30-3:00 in the morning and couldn’t cook off, because had to close windows for noise! Staff was very friendly and helpful when we could find them.

The bed is comfy and it was a great idea to put the bed there, which made my sleep much more pleasant. The staff members were all kind, friendly and welcoming. They're professional. From check-in to chech-out, I liked everything. Some people said there were not enough kitchenware but I think that was like that a long time ago. I could find everything that I needed to cook for three days here. The location is perfect. Strongly recommended:)

The wooden doors are heavy, so we need to be considerate and close them carefully not to make a big noise. But some careless guests just slammed the doors several times late at night. It was unpleasant to wake up in the middle of the night because of that shocking sound;;

The location of the apartment is brilliant - right in the middle of town but we were high up enough not to have noise at night. The kitchen was clean with a big fridge and dishwasher. The apartment was spacious, clean and beds were comfortable. The TV screen is huge. Big windows with lovely views over the city. Staff were friendly and took care of our bags as our apartment wasn't ready when we arrived earlier than check in time.

Noise carries in the apartment block - our neighbours came home late and it sounded like they were coming in to our apartment! There is a door (locked) from the bedroom into the hall, which was a bit strange. The kitchen wasn't fully stocked with cutlery etc. The sofa was large and the bed part was comfy but the sofa itself was a bit more like sitting on a bus.

The hotel is located in the city center, but not noisy at all. It is only a few minutes' walk to reach the train station, the port and the city center. The staff is very kind and the room is clean. On the television it is even possible to stream YouTube videos. The Internet is fast. We are happy with everything except the kitchen.

We booked a quadruple room for 4 adults, but the cutlery was only for 3 people. The fridge has no freezer. The connection of the kitchen sink drain was loose and the water ran out, which even raised an alarm in the kitchen. We cleaned and fixed the connection with our own tools because it was on Saturday evening and there was no staff at the reception.

The Location was great and the rooms really spacious.

The room had a little kitchen and all but it would have been nice to have very basic things to cook such as tinfoil or salt & pepper. You would never stay long enough to use up the full product and you can always leave it for the next person. Maybe we were the unlucky ones who just happened to arrive when it was all empty, in that case, the next guests in room 403 will get lucky :)

The property is located in the heart of Bergen with many shops, restaurants and sights of the old town around. It is a value for money property with individual apartments in it. The apartment I had was a studio which was a good place to stay. The staff at the reception were very personable and helpful producing a great impression of the place.

There were some construction works (renovation of the rooftop terrace) even on one Saturday's morning which was a bit unusual and frustrating. The lighting in the bedroom was very dim: one of the bedside lamps wasn't working, the other bedside lamp was producing an extremely dim light (even a night lamp produces more light than that one). Despite all this, the property is a very good place to stay for a short while in central Bergen.

I have been at Ole Bull Apartments several times - one of my favorites in Bergen. This time there was full renovation going on - I believe it will be perfect again after my only "good" review this time. Building new/ and upgrading old rooms creates some extra noice and dirt.

This time renovation created some extra noice and untidiness. Also limited lift usage. Despite this I would book the place - big rooms with affordable price in the center of Bergen. You also have the possibilities of the small kitchen in the room.

The apartment was comfortable with a big couch and a decent sized kitchen and bathroom. A big TV inside was also a nice addition! The location couldn't be better. We were able to walk around and explore all nice areas of the city. It's close to all nice cafes and restaurants. Many people mention the fire alarm activating easily: We had no issue with it. We made sure to turn on the ventilation in the kitchen while cooking and open the windows. The staff was very nice and accommodating. They gave us a room with a view as requested and they were always polite and quick to respond to any question.

We stayed on a floor that is currently being restored. The corridor looks unfinished (the ceiling is open and you can see cables and pipes) and sometimes there was a weird smell in the corridor (but not inside the apartment). There is noise on Friday and Saturday evenings from the bar below. I am usually a light sleeper, but I was still able to sleep ok since I was tired from walking around all day.
