The location was superb. You could easily walk to the major landmarks in the city centre of Stavanger. The breakfast was excellent, offering a variety of food, vegetables, and fruit options. Complimentary coffee and iced water were available 24/7. The room was of a decent size with a double bed and a sofa. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The best of all was the friendly and helpful bareception staff!

My room faced the courtyard, which made it quiet but also very dark since I had to close the curtains to avoid being seen by other hotel guests across the room. The lowest temperature setting on the air conditioner was 19 degrees Celsius, and the bed was not directly beside the open window, so it was a bit warm for my preferred room temperature.

We stayed in the Comfort Hotel Square in Stavanger for one night as part of our Norway trip. The bus service in Stavanger is very good so were able to get a bus from our ferry into the centre and just a short walk to the Hotel which is just above the Old Town area. We had a small double room with excellent ensuite shower room. There was plenty of room for our gear and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful at all times. The breakfast was very good with a wide range of hot/cold options. Again the reception supplied hot water/milk to make tea in our room. Great location with short walk down to the harbour and into town. Public bus service again is easy to manage to get to airport. We would have no hesitation in staying at the Comfort Hotel Square again. Many thanks!

It was a very convenient place to stay. Very close to town and the station. It was very quirky (hipster) and a good area to socialize with a bar with tasty local beer.

In the bathroom there was not very much privacy, there's a piece of artwork in the room that comes away and you can see through a window into the bathroom. Hilarious, a bit weird or kinky...you choose. Anyway, it meant staying as a couple, if you need to go number 2, you may as well be in the same room doing so, so we used the toilet in the lobby.

Buffet breakfast was good. Room was clean and spacious but one thing to note if you want a writing desk and all the other guff then this is not the hotel for you. Rooms are practical and for sleeping. Staff are out of this world as in Super Friendly and always happy to help.

From the train station Google maps sends you up some stairs if you have heavy bags this is challenging - might be useful to mention on your website that if you are walking from the station with heavy bags it is better to walk in front of the Radisson Blue and then turn left up the hill.

Breakfast was excellent, the variety of choice exceeded our expectations. Location was also very good, walking distance to everywhere in the centre. Room was small but comfortable. Overall, very good value for money.

The pillows were a little uncomfortable and only one was available per person in the room. I am sure we could have solved this problem by asking the staff though, we just didn't bother in the end.

Great breakfast, kind staff, great location. Very central and easy to find. Great value for money in Norway. Highly reccomend!

The decor is a little bit odd, the faces on the hearboard a bit unsetlling, I think an update of the art could be great change, as I didn't love the presence of a monster like figure overlooking the room.

Great breakfast (busy at peak times 9am). The staff were very friendly and helpful to get to the ferry terminal!

Not many amenities supplied (one body wash that can also be used as shampoo). The LED light strip cover in our room was hanging off, it could be pushed back in but would peel off again

super quiet room, comfortable bed, good signage, drinkable water, good shower/bathroom, fine temperature, friendly, helpful staff, super location, wonderful guidance booklet, plentiful sockets and lights in room, lift and stairs easily accessible, 24/7 reception, free buffet breakfast and extra room items nearby as needed. no disturbing daily cleaning and better for environment. Great value for money.

a better labelled range of vegan breakfast items would have been ideal. could have had a more secure toilet seat in room (was very loose)

LOVE the location! The hotel is only a couple of minutes walk from the old town with tons of places to eat, shop and take Fjord tours! The most lovely and large breakfast buffet is included in the price, with a lovely area to eat - which makes this a super deal.

The bed is very soft and bouncy. This might not be a problem for some, but definitely will be for others. Also, the decor is kind of…. weird. Plus, there are full mirrors in the bathroom so you can watch yourself shower and every other thing. If, however you don’t wish that, you can slide those mirrors to the side so the entire room can watch… Again, not necessarily a bad thing - just odd.
