All facilities in the hotel were amazing and especially the included breakfast. Also all housekeeping staff and bell people that I communicated with were extremely helpful and nice, made me feel like at home.

We ordered food for takeout and after storing it in the fridge for the night, we just wanted to warm it up in the morning. There's no microwave in the room so we called front desk to see if that can help us with warming it up somewhere, but they said it's not possible:/ This is not a huge deal, but I've been in other hotels with even less stars who go above and beyond for guests in that matter (so just a tip for the future maybe).

I had a great stay for 4 nights - it was the best hotel I’ve stayed in Oman so far! The best thing about this place is the level of customer service!! All staff are friendly, helpful and look pleased to be working there. I have been in many hotels and this has some of the best staff with the best manners / people skills. All were great but a Special mention to: - Bindu on reception - was always smiling and helpful, she knew I was going on a trip on my last day in Oman so delayed my checkout time. The hotel is lucky to have her. - Eimran on the pool terrace - was always interacting with guests and kept the pool area in order. Great guy. - Jishan and the guys in the lobby areas (sorry I forgot all the names!) - They were polite and helpful with luggage and had knowledge of the local area so I knew where to go when I wanted to watch the World Cup games or if I needed SIM cards/ shops etc. The property is in a convenient location with shops / restaurants / supermarkets / cafes all walking distance. It is also a short distance between avenue mall / grand mall and mall of Oman. My room was very comfortable and spacious. Cleaning was done everyday to a high standard and the bed was great, water is provided after ever clean and the TV has basic channels, I’d recommend getting more. Overall it was a great stay in a luxurious hotel for a decent price, no complaints at all and I will be booking again when I’m back in Oman. Thanks!

The hotel itself is nice and the rooms are big and cozy. The breakfast although a little pricey (15 USD), was good. The staff were very friendly and answered all my questions. I didn't expect a pool on the roof which is nice. Sauna and steam rooms were also a pleasant surprise. Overall it's a very good place to stay with affordable prices.

The parking policy is annoying. You have to go with your car to the entrance and the clerk with give you a parking spot. If there are none free, you can go to the basement parking which is also annoying cause it's too small and packed with cars. Not a huge problem but definitely a minus There is nothing in the mini bar. We wanted 1 coca cola during one of the nights and we couldn't get it even when we called them.

One of the best hotel I tried in this price range in Middle East. Large rooms and bed with very nice view on the ocean. Everything is super clean. Very good facilities, specially the rooftop pool.

The Royal Tulip is conveniently located between the airport (8 rials by taxi) and the centre. At the same time, it’s 20 minutes walking distance to the beach and 10 minutes drive (4 rials by taxi) to the Grand Mosque. Good restaurant on site as well as the spa and a good size rooftop pool where you can actually swim as opposed to float from one side to another. Rooms are good size and comfortable, including huge beds and quality sheets. In my room storage space was more than adequate, abundant free toiletries and a good TV set. I also had a desk to work from. In the lobby you can find a cafeteria with pastries and salads - all very decent quality. The best part was the service: attentive, efficient and polite - staff are so well trained in hospitality, it really shines!

No balcony so I spent a lot of time outdoors at the rooftop pool.

The staff was terrific, professional, kind, and attentive! We stayed since late September for a little over two months! It was such a pleasant experience that we kept extending our stay and were kindly accommodated every single time. Everyone from the concierge, receptionists, restaurant staff, and housekeeping are friendly and helpful! Unlike many other hotels, you see managers in the lobby and hotel hallways greet guests and ask about their stay and experience!! One of the managers, Ms. Pamila, is incredibly kind and professional; thank you for your attention to detail and thoughtful gestures. The staff is also one of the highlights of our stay. They are so excellent and polite, always smiling and professional! They make you feel at home and go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay! They never make you ask for something twice and respond to your needs immediately.

The hotel was wonderful. The staff were very nice and it was always clean and nice. The hotel has free parking, which is perfect for those with a rental car. There are good restaurants in the area and it is walking distance to Avenue Mall. The pool was good and clean and have nothing to complain about. The rooms were always clean. In the rooms you will find everything you may need, iron, minibar, safe. We were given water bottles every day. We didn't choose breakfast so can't write anything about it. If I come back one day, I will definitely stay here. One thing that you should consider and that is to rent a car in case you want to experience Muscat

The hotel is fairly new. Check-in isn`t too fast. But overall the staff is very polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet offers a good selection of different food. We liked the pancakes, which would be perfect with some sort of pancake syrup. Although being on a mayor street (it was quiete inside) the hotel is in a decent neigbourhood with some good local restaurants. The Mall (a 10 min. walk) isn`t worth a visit. Free parking is offered, the underground parking is a bit difficult to manage though. The pool on the 9th floor is very nice, unfortunately quite popular. This is definitely a good place for Muskat. We stayed 4 nights in total.

The parking slots are quite small, especially for the SUVs. Unfortunately someone scratched my side-fender in the basement parking; I had to pay 50 OMR (125$) to the rental company for the damage. It`s not the fault of the hotel. But it is something which can happen easily. Try avoid parking too close - if possible.

Location of Hotel is fantastic and reachable to all muscut malls and restaurants. Pool and Jaccuzi, Souna was wonderful, Attendant Mr Emran was very kind and knowledgeable. he made our pool experience even better.
