Firstly staff was super nice and helpful. Breakfast was good with enough options. We had the lunchbox for the excursions we had. The hotel had the patio so it felt a bit like historic, including the interior of the rooms and the inca made stone walls(on some parts). Bathroom was decent. Perfect location with just a 3 min walk total he historical center(this is very important considering that the altitude will drain your stamina first two days).

As the building is a bit historical, the doors are made of wood with windows on them. So in order to get light into your room you need to open the windowshades on your door, which is a bit inconvenient. Due to that any sound outside your door is present on the inside. There is only shampoo and body cream no shower gel. No complimentary water in the room. The room is heated by a small portable heater so it is not easy to get a good equal heat distribution in the room.

The Location is perfect! With great views of the church and convent of Santo Domingo. The best hotel staff we came across in Peru, always friendly, helpful and attentive. We stayed two nights before traveling to Machu Picchu, so we checked out and left our bags in the hotel’s storage. When we returned a couple of days later, they had already done our new check in and the bags were waiting for us in our new rooms. This was a wonderful detail after hours of traveling and feeling really tired.

Sometimes we could hear our neighbors in the room next to us.

The property was located central to everything and it was beautiful. We loved the breakfast that was included with the stay. We would definitely go back!

We had two different room types and the staff mixed them up. We went to our rooms and didn’t realize the mix up until the next morning when seeing the two rooms. I feel the staff should have been more conscientious about that and handed the right keys to the right members in our party.

Rooms were authentic, gorgeous, and well appointed. Location was SUPERB! Breakfast was delicious! & Beds were comfortable! Joel, Benjamin, Fernando, the older lady and young lady with long black hair (sorry for not getting their names) were all EXCEPTIONAL… Courtyard can be a bit noisy, but after a full day of activities, you will be out as soon as your head reaches the pillow…

We loved this historic building and its location - it was close to the Plaza des Armas but away from the chaos. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. The staff were so lovely and a highlight of our stay.

Our particular room didn’t have actual windows - just a couple of tiny cut-outs in the door, but since those faced the hallway, we didn’t actually open them much. On the upside, we slept very well because the room was dark. However, I would have loved the option to throw open a window. I recommend requesting a room with a window if that is important to you.

Breakfast was very good! Service was excellent!

The room did not have a window and looked like a cave. Room was cold in winter and small portable electric heater was insufficient to heat the room…. My wife got sick due to freezing.

The hotel is beutiful, confy rooms and good breakfast. The staff is friendly and always willing to help and trying to make your stay easy. The hotel is very well located, close by to attractions, inka rail office and restaurants

I was expecting a few more common areas to hang out within the hotel but no big deal

The room was really comfortable and clean. The location was perfect! Walking distance from the city main square and right in front of Quorikancha (temple of the sun). The hotel had a nice breakfast, and the staff was really friendly and always happy to help. Totally recommend staying there if you're going to Cusco.

The room we stayed in was right above the lobby, so it could get a bit noisy if there were many people there, but it wasn't a big issue.

Super cute hotel and really amazing staff! Close to the city center (5´ walking) and in a very secure area. The bedroom was small but it had everything we needed. We were not able to get the included breakfast, but they prepared us great breakfast boxes. Clean, modern and local at the same time. Highly recommended.
