The location was located conveniently close to the historic sites and we were able to walk there comfortably. The hotel's front desk and restaurant staff was very pleasant and accommodating. We inquired about a possibility of switching the rooms after the first night, and were moved to a room farther away from the hotel's main entrance.

The staff was very pleasant and professional. My only source of discomfort was the guests not following the instructions of keeping the rule of quiet space in the hallways. Especially, when leaving the hotel in the early hours for a daily trip up the mountain sites.

The location of the hotel was great. It was close to the huge San Pedro Market and about 15 minute walk from the main square in Cusco. The restaurant staff at breakfast were really friendly and the made-to-order pancakes and waffles were delicious.

The locations of some of the rooms was really weird!! We got a quad room assigned to us and to get to our room you had to walk through the restaurant (which was odd when other patrons were eating there) and then go to upstairs through the bar area. Also the bathroom fixtures were a little dated and water would spray all over the floor.

My wife & I loved this hotel. The staff super welcoming and attentive from the minute we arrived until our last day. Graciela and the rest of the staff was always there to help out and make you feel at home. The room was great and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast, the bagged lunches they provide for day trips, and the 24/7 tea station. The live music at night was a nice touch and it was cool to see the hotels pet llama in its pen. We also enjoyed the cooking class with Renato, Ilda, and Diego. A very enjoyable experience with amazing people that we hope to replicate at home. I would recommend this hotel 10 times out of 10. Glad we chose it as our home in Cusco.

Nothing to dislike.

Loved the live-in alpaca. Loved the overall vibe with the courtyard and live music. The heaters and blankets were a nice touch. Waiter Roy in bar restaurant was amazing; extremely professional attentive, and fun personality. Breakfast sack lunches were great for early tour departures. We looked forward to happy hour every day. Hotel restaurant food quality was great and at a reasonable price for hotel restaurant. All workers were extremely professional and attentive.

No way to cool down room. No AC, fan, or ability to open a window to allow air to circulate. Many nights I struggled to stay asleep due to being uncomfortably hot. I understand that the city sometimes shutting down water at night (between 9PM-4AM) due to drought is outside the hotel's control, however, I think it'd be reasonable for a 4-star hotel to have their own mitigation plan like having water reserve storage tanks on-site with a pump. Despite the above we would definitely stay at this place again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff is welcoming and attentive. We especially liked having a bathtub in the room, and there was almost always hot water; after a busy day, it was pleasant to simply relax in the bath. The bed is enormous (over 2m in width) and very comfortable. In the evening, they place hot water bottles in the bed, and on the first night, they brought hot tea in a thermos. The breakfasts are luxurious, especially the hot Viennese waffles! We dined twice at the hotel restaurant - the most delicious food in Cusco. Thank you! P.S. Some reviews complained about noise in the evenings. There is live music in the hotel courtyard until 8:30 PM, so if you don't go to bed at 7-8 PM, it won't bother u

A significant downside was the absence of a kettle in the room. The concept is to provide hot water in a thermos to the room every evening, but unfortunately, the water always reached us lukewarm, making it impossible to brew tea. So, every evening, we had to get dressed and go to the reception for hot water. The same applies to the heating pads – the idea is excellent, but they were never brought in hot, only warm

The staff was friendly overall. The location was about 5-10 minutes walk to the main places like plaza mayor, restaurants, shops. They have singers playing in the dining hall every night we were there, and they have a pet llama or alpaca that you can take pictures with. They have free Coca tea if you need it. The room was good and comfortable, they have fan and heater if you need it. They also provided warm compress for your tummy if you get altitude sickness. We were not able to try the breakfast because we had to leave early for the tours.

While my friend my showering, the water was cut off. They said we had to wait 15-20 minutes for the water to come back.

Amazing breakfast (special thanks to Vaneza and Yulisa, who were wonderful servers), super friendly staff, and good location - 5-10 mins walk from most places in Cuzco but just far enough to not be noisy or too busy. The hotel was very helpful and organised with keeping our luggage whilst we were on our trek.

We stayed twice (before and after the trek), the second room we got had 1/3 of the space of the first one despite booking identical room types - seems like this varies a lot. Floors were a little sticky so all our slippers kept getting dirty. Other than that, the property was very clean!

The hotel exceeded my expectations in decor, ambience, helpfulness, and food. I enjoyed the beamed ceiling in the bedroom, the bath with skylight overhead. The breakfast was a brilliant surprise- hit food made to order plus a buffet with fruits, nuts, meat, and cheese. There was pleasant live music the night I was there. It has an excellent location with the market just down the road and other plazas within easy walk. The staff was unfailingly courteous, helpful, and friendly. Graciela Arriaga noticed I wasn’t feeling well due to altitude and was incredibly helpful making me feel well again.

The rooms were very clean. The courtyard is a very pleasant area to hang out. The restaurant in the hotel is very good and better than a few of the fancy restaurants around the hotel. The staff is very friendly and they have a breakfast bag for visitors leaving for early tours. Morning breakfast is great if you have a slow start to the day. Leg warmers (hot water bags) provided were comfortable addition during wet seasons.

Water!! There was no water from ~10pm to 6:30 am. Apparently it a city wide rationing, but there should be at least some provisions in the bathroom for brushing teeth in the morning. I think they should change the current musician. It is hard to relax with the song selection and karaoke quality singing. The musician puts in a good deal of effort, but it is not comforting for guests who need to wake up at 3am/4am for trips to rainbow mountain, etc. The music/singing goes on till 830pm and it's very loud that you can hear in the room clearly. My suggestion would be to have a Peruvian flute instrumentalist that is more soothing. Room needs to have proper ventilation (opening the windows lets in too much noise) or at least a fan for air circulation.

This hotel was conveniently located just a short 5 minute walk to the market and plaza. The hotel was very clean and quiet. The rooms were fine and even provided a fan when the temperature warmed up during the day. The restaurant and courtyard were fabulous. The meals were exceptional....the best fettucine alfredo we have eaten! The breakfast was fantastic and they provided eggs made to order as well as pancakes or french toast. The baby alpaca in the courtyard was so special and we enjoyed watching KIKI have his milk each day. I can highly recommend this hotel!
