The location was perfect and very close to the train station, all the restaurants, and the bus to the entrance Machu Picchu. The staff was amazing! German from the front desk met us at the train station upon arrival and helps with the luggage. They were also very responsive to special requests we had.

This hotel is worth the high price. If you are doing a trek or a big hike like we did, it will be worth it to spend your evening in a nice place like this. The bed and shower are amazing and super comfortable. This hotel is right by the river, and not really in the "hustle and bustle" of Aguas Calientes. Trust me, you will appreciate the quiet even if you think you want to be in the middle of the party. We almost booked El Mapi instead of this one and we are so glad we didn't go with El Mapi because it's right in the middle of all the busiest bars in AC. Go with this one!! The breakfast is vast and excellent as well.

Check-in process was extremely slow. One dude working at the front desk and there was a big line when we got in. It took us over 30 minutes to get checked in and we were very tired already from the Inca trail hike.

Location was central & close to train station. Lobby was beautiful & staff were friendly. Breakfast buffet was good. The rooms are very nice & we booked a river view. We also went to a massage place next door & it was fabulous.

The hotel booked our MP private guide & he was just ok. Did not talk much which is the opposite of a guide. We told them we had a 1pm entrance for MP & 2pm Inka Bridge entrance & I am not sure the guide got this info from the hotel correctly bc the guide met us at 12:30pm to get us tickets for the bus & by the time we arrived at the entrance we were running late for the Inka Bridge & had to hurry.

A great mid-range price hotel in Aguas Calientes. Location is perfect--right near the Machu Picchu bus and train station, and situated on the river. Hotel staff met us at the train station. We arranged bilingual guides through the hotel for 2 days and both were excellent--Jose Antonio and Nilo. River-view rooms have exceptional views (river full). The hotel restaurant is excellent for breakfast and dinner. The wine selection features smaller Peruvian wineries. Has an elevator and air conditioning. Suitable for couples or families.

No complaints at all.

Amazing Hotel on the side of the river, very spacious rooms with beautiful decorations, very attentive staff from the moment they wait for us at the station, they were always concerned about every detail that makes us feel a unique experience. The SPA is the best, I completely recommend the Swedish massage!!! The restaurant has a beautiful view along with the delicious food, making it a perfect atmosphere for dining. They have a varied menu, and the staff is always willing and able to guide you, on our last day they offered us some Pisco lessons on the hotel terrace that made us the perfect closing for the stay was magical!!

I recently had an exceptional stay at this hotel! The restaurant's menu was a culinary delight, offering a diverse range of delicious Peruvian dishes that left my taste buds wanting more. The relaxing massages at the spa were truly rejuvenating, and the hot tub provided the perfect way to unwind after hiking around Aguas Calientes. The hotel's location, with its stunning views of the mountains and river nearby, added an extra layer of tranquility to the overall experience. I highly recommend this hotel for a perfect blend of culinary excellence, relaxation, and breathtaking scenery at Machupicchu!!

The hotel's prime location is nothing short of amazing, especially for travel enthusiasts. Nestled conveniently close to the train station, it effortlessly combines comfort with accessibility. The mere proximity to the station makes exploring the city a breeze, allowing guests to embark on exciting adventures with ease.

While there was little to fault during my stay, one aspect stood out—the exceptionally friendly staff. While their warmth was appreciated, I found myself yearning for a bit more privacy. Striking the right balance between attentive service and personal space can enhance the overall guest experience, and a slight adjustment in this regard would undoubtedly elevate the stay to perfection.

We were met at the train (even though it was late) by hotel staff and taken directly to the hotel. We really appreciated this since it can be chaotic at train station. Room was super quiet overlooking the river. Yes, of course you hear the train, but they stop at night. So noise was not an issue. Convenient to bus stop for Machu Picchu. They also helped us back to train station for return.

my only little nit picky thing was they didn't serve normal coffee. Only had an espresso machine. And of course you get dinged an extra charge at breakfast. I'm not a tea drinker (which they push on you everywhere in Cusco and Machu Picchu) so I did miss my morning coffee when I first wake up. The breakfast buffet was minimal but adequate.

Super friendly staff. Great location just outside the main area, it was a quick walk to the restaurants and spas. Not super loud, just the occasional train coming in. Room facing the river was lovely and private.

Food recommendations from the staff were not great, like Chullos. They kindly packed us a breakfast to go since we left for Machu Picchu before the official breakfast started, but it was dry bread and not great. There were troubles with the coffee machine which is tough for a caffeine fiend like myself, but not a big deal.

The property was centrally located to everything, the bus to Machu Picchu, 3 min walk. On the same street as the best restaurants and across the street from the train station. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The only one single thing that I did not like in the room, was the musty smell, I truly believe it was from the bathroom water or possibly the river water.I don’t know or think that the hotel can remedy this.
