very big hotel with a massive pool and even though the hotel was super busy, you could still have your quiet corner. Food in the hotel restaurant was delicious and the pool bar food was as delicious. Very close to the beach and just a 20mins walk from town.

I like the setting in general, the hotel looks very nice an posh. Staff is super friendly and drinks aren't too expensive. Buffet is great in general and I like the new Italian restaurant by the pool. I appreciate the fact that we can have food by the pool on the sun loungers. Overall amazing hotel! We have been five or 6 times and we will be back. WIFI everywhere :-) The pool closes at 8am so no need to rush, you can enjoy it all day. Tourists very well behaving and not "reserving" sun loungers, plenty of them for everyone. Swimming pool looks amazing! Close to town centre, taxis are cheap!

The night buffet should include drinks, wine is extra and 2 buffet meals then end up being expensive at the end. Not sure why the wine is extra? Sometimes it can be hard to get the waiter's attention at night to get drinks even when not busy. Another thing that is surprising is that tap water is not available anywhere but at the reception. You should be offering tap water in the restaurant (had to keep buying bottles) like you do at reception in the nice dispenser. Also, we got charged a few euros to buy a swimming cap, surely those should be provided for free to guests who go to the spa. Also, given that we have been a few times, we should really be enrolled in a loyalty card automatically vs having to ask for it.

The hotel is in an amazing condition, always clean, always smells nice. Perfect for families with kids , as there’s a small area only for kids, further from the big pool, with trampoline, slides and other games. Perfect for those who like sports as there’s a gym and lots of green space to have a morning jog. The outside area is maintained in a high standard and there’s a spa, too. The pool is clean and it’s huge, so never feels overcrowded. The beach is only a couple of minutes walk.

The disadvantage of the location is the advantage at the same time - sounds funny. Basically there’s nothing close to the hotel, which is lovely if you like peace and quiet. We enjoyed it. But sometimes, when you are in a need of essential, would be nice to have a facility where you could get them. For example something agains mosquitos!!!! Be prepared, there’s a lot and they attack and leave nasty spots all over your body (for example this is what we would needed, a pharmacy where you can purchase those item which you forgot at home).

Room readiness upon early arrival. Nice swimming pool area. Overall great food served in the breakfast and dinner. Room cleanliness spot on. Free outdoor car park

For someone that likes to sleep in a dark room, it was difficult to get a good blackout as the curtains do not close completely… No dairy alternatives directly available during the breakfast… you need to request for it. On our last breakfast, only small plates for food made available. A bit annoying having an English breakfast with two plates… oh well, a little inconvenience. At times during dinner buffet, the grilled meat and fish took a while to become ready, resulting in unpleasant waiting queues…

Fabulous hotel, very impressive. The We liked the spacious grounds, the three adjoining swimming pools where lovely, plenty of sun loungers.Public areas were comfortable with plenty of space. The library was a gem and a great source to loan a book. We loved that the beach was across the road with easy access through a gate situated by the pools . The poolside bar and Italian themed restaurant was a great place to have drinks and snacks poolside. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. We would suggest a shuttle to and from the town centre ,that would be perfect ,especially for guests with small children, even if there was a small charge. We did find it irritating that information about menus ,activities ,etc was from a QR code on the mobile. We were trying not to use phones while on holiday.

We liked the quality and care of the service provision in difficult circumstances with staff performing admirably despite the occupancy level being below the 15% level claimed by the receptionist on our arrival. The low occupancy proved to be a bonus since we enjoyed very prompt service from staff very happy to be active and appreciated.

The other side of the coin to the 'benefits' from low occupancy was that some areas were totally unoccupied at times, such as the lounge bar when we were the only couple there on a few occasions. The lack of atmosphere was a strange experience and must have disappointed the staff as much as the guests. It was nobody's fault, simply the combination of the time of year and reluctance to travel which had kept potential visitors away. The hotel is to be applauded and supported for 'soldiering on' through extreme difficulties.

All d facilities were really good and employees are really helpful and pleasant unlike other European countries.... The facilities were amazing, specially for kids... The Spa and the pool was superb... They even allowed us early check-in without any hesitation... First day duck curry (dinner) was d best duck curry I ever had...

The breakfast was almost same in all 3 days we stayed. It wud hav been better, if they change it day by day.

It is in an area of Lagos that we prefer. Quick access to the beach. The tap at the entrance from the beach is useful for washing your feet. The pool bar is convenient and not too expensive. The spa treatments, staff and gym were great, however the indoor pool and jacuzzi were in an area that was too hot for us. The buffet hall was large enough to accommodate the guests . The entrance was in a good location and spacious. It was clean and well laid out.

We didn’t use the bar as the music was too loud. It was more like a nightclub than a bar. The lifts and halls get extremely hot during certain times of the day. If you got stuck in a lift you’d soon pass out or worse. A side entrance to the free car park would be convenient. Having to prebook the half empty restaurants during the low season is ridiculous. It’s actually easier and quicker to go across the road to the harbour of beach front restaurants. All staff need to be made aware of where the gluten free food it kept and make sure there is access to it. Furthermore, the Italian restaurant could stock gluten free pasta and spaghetti. It doesn’t spoil fast and would allow them to accommodate more customers. The TV automatically turns on when you enter the room. It’s a waste of energy.

The breakfast was great. And the staff in massa fina, were so helpful in providing takeaways even when they were being flooded on Monday 12th Sept.

We came to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary (we stayed at vila gale with all our guests for our wedding 10 years ago) I tried on numerous occasions to contact the hotel via email explaining we were coming back in the hope of getting some kind of special occasion treatment. But with no reply from the hotel. So it didn't feel quite as special as it could have. I also felt the bar staff could do with some extra training in service and customer service, the pool bar and the way its run was chaotic. And the fashion bar always took so long to be served.

The pool area is great and there’s always a lot going on. Rooms are spacious and it’s a short stroll to a beautiful beach.

Queues for everything. The poolside restaurant service is very slow, however the snack bar service is good. The staff seemed overwhelmed at times, and a bit grumpy as a result. Not all though - most of the staff were lovely.
