The hostel is located in a very good location with easy access to public transport - if you prefer to walk to the city center, it is not a bad street either to do so as it is not extremely hilly. Our room had a nice little balcony, a nice size double bed and it was well decorated. Towels were provided. Bed was comfy and everything was clean. We found it very quiet as well.
Some things could do with a refresh such as the bath tub in the was very old and rusty. Lift wasn't working and the stairs were old and cranky - as the hostel is on the 3rd floor this compromises accessibility for some. A fan or air con in the bedroom would have been nice as it was very hot under a 25 degree day - can't imagine how you would survive the heat during those 35+ degrees days.

Nice hostel with big private rooms. It has a cozy feeling. It’s a bit outside the main city, but you can walk there easily. The layout and decor is super cute. Check-in and check-out was easy. They have lots of information for things to do and see in Lisboa.
You can hear everything from the corridor and other rooms at night. The bathroom hand towels were tiny and only changed once a day, so by the end of the day they were dripping wet and not useful to dry hands with. The shower drain was clogged in one of the bathrooms. There was a weird smell in the kitchen.

The dorm is located in a big room with a high ceiling which is perfect as it doesn't feel cramped at all. Bed was comfortable and a towel is included. There is also access to a balcony. Kitchen has everything you need. I think the biggest pro of the hostel was the cleanliness. Everything was cleaned often. Really felt like I was using a private bathroom as it was so clean.
Most people seem to have private rooms. I was alone in my dorm for all three nights which is obviously great for sleep but there weren't that many opportunities to meet other travellers.

The room was very comfortable and had a good size for two. The kitchen was well equipped, had a lot of bathrooms with showers - everything always clean. The staff was friendly and super helpful! The location was great, a lot of services around and a 30 minutes walk to the city centre.
The pictures show a big room wiith a lot of tables but that space is not really available, so there's no much extra space to chill besides the kitchen.

- The dimensions of the hostel are great – bigs room with high ceilings on the top floor of a beautiful traditional Lisbon block - The staff are really friendly and lovely - The bathrooms and common areas are kept clean as a whistle - Our bed was comfortable and large
- Our room was on the road side, and it was very noisy, so you had to choose between having a window open (and there is no AC) and quiet. - As in most hostels, the bathrooms are shared, so you often have to queue at peak times, but that is pretty standard - We struggled a bit for storage space, and a place to hang a towel – a couple of hooks and a chest of drawers would help

The hostel is nice and clean, and it is located in a nice neighborhood very close to the metro. The shared bathrooms are generally clean, and the kitchen is equipped with cups, pans, and pots. Coffee is available 24 hours and always hot. The hostel wasn't very busy while we were there, and all the other guests were respectful and quiet. Overall, we had a very positive experience.
Unfortunately, we weren't able to access the balcony during our stay because of the renovation works, which is a pity since the balcony adds a lot of value to the room.

This is a really beautiful hostel with a chill vibe in a period property. The best thing about it was it’s lovely staff, I felt really at home and wanted to move in. Good food options nearby and it’s location is perfect for tourism or going out. I stayed in a private room which was so huge I felt like royalty, but the value was good as it was off-season. I like that the staff/volunteers and guests have separate kitchens, good for everyone when it’s busy, and that there is a dorm with balcony option. it has a wine bar, great if you arrive tired, or late, or both!
There IS a lift but it’s a bit scary. I got stuck in it my first night for about five minutes only, but it was a long five minutes. It also stopped between floors a few times. The hostel, which doesn’t operate the lift, it’s for the whole building, and like the building it’s old, has put a helpful sign up to explain what to do, basically sometimes you just need to wait but I decided only to use it when necessary. So it’s all good if you only need it to get luggage up and down and can walk the rest of the time, but if I had mobility issues, I would choose somewhere else.

A good place to stay in Lisbon. We enjoyed the stay, the staff was friendly, the rooms and bathrooms were clean. Very cozy interior, good price. It is also convenient that there are metro, bus and tram stops nearby. We sincerely recommend it :)
there was a heater in the room, we didn't figure out how to turn it on at first and it was really cold:(It wasn't until the next day that the staff helped us turn it on, so ask in advance about the heater

Spacious private room, shared bathroom was newly renovated and super clean overall. Good value for money. Lovely building and never felt too busy although we did have to wait for shower use most mornings but to be expected in shared facilities.
Location is less central than we had hoped but perhaps it makes up for that in price. Metro station is a few minutes walk and you can be at Baixa Chiado in 20mins via metro.
