There are lots of advantages of Setubalence hotel: ✅ It is in the heart of Belem where everything is nearby : the park , the seaside ( there is boulevard ) and the main sightseeings of Belem .Though the way to the city centre of Lisbon takes 15-20 min, it is easy and safe to get the hotel even at night . ✅ The connection of all kinds of transportations was at hand ( 100m): tram, bus ,train station that makes traveling much easier around Lisbon , Cascais and even Sintra, so you need only a map of metro to know when to change lines. What is very important it is quiet at night . ✅Different kinds of restorants and cafes are next to the hotel and also opposite it , so I had my breakfast at 8 a.m just going out the hotel and entering the cafe nearby. ✅It is worth to mention that the building is ancient, however , after reconstruction; and atmosphere when you enter it is surprising : doors of entrance, circular stairs up decorated with azulejo, and also view from my balconies were wonderful. Air conditioner and TV set in the room add another plus. ✅The staff is friendly and helpful (though my check out was at 11.00 a.m , it was possible to leave the baggage downstairs till 6 p.m) Very grateful to you! ✅Wonderfully organised cleaning : everyday cleaning the room and changing bedsheets and pillowcases, towels. Special thanks to administration and cleaning staff. Everything was perfect as I mentioned above only what I really wanted in the room is a kettle to have a cup of tea while sitting at the balcony at night after travelling this paradise country.

No kettle in the room.

Looks like a brand new hotel opened up here, with everything new. Location is fantastic, steps away fro museums, restaurants and coffee places. In the first room we were given, the overhead light was broken, and we were promptly appointed another room, which I appreciated after a day of travel.

The hotel was missing any signage outside, probably because it was just renovated/rebranded. Made it difficult to actually locate.

good place for short stay in Lisbon. clean.this hotel is in Belem area, from city centre about one hour walking ( i really dont recommended to do it :)). but you can easy reach centre by bus trem or uber (6 euros). around hotel are a lot restaurants, cafes, macdonald. near the hotel is public parking where the price is 3 euros for 4 hour and only from 9 am till 7 pm need to pay, for weekend is free. hotel room size is good, bathroom size like other room. no view from window but i think it is not a problem. i miss some glasses in room, there was paper cups but would be great to have and few glasses for wine. price is reasonable comparing with another places in Lisbon

Great location. Very spacious comfortable room with good AC and fridge. Had to request a kettle from the front desk but they had no cups or dishes for us to use. Fortunately we had disposable cups and plates with us. Staff was not bilingual and really didn’t make much effort to be helpful, just present to check in and out. Still, I would definitely recommend this hotel if you don’t need any assistance from hotel staff.

Front desk staff not helpful at all, but we were able to get by without them.

Given the price point, we were surprised in a good way! The room was pleasant, very clean and large. The bathroom was modern enough and the location could not be beat as it is a quick walk to all of Belem's attractions and surrounded by stops and restaurants. 3rd floor room was quiet in spite of being on the main street. Note that some reviews seem to suggest that you must walk up one level to reach the elevator. This is NOT true as the elevator for all floors is right in the ground floor lobby. (There is a lovely tile-encased spiral stairway but you don't have to ever use it.)

Perfect except no refrigerator in the room.

Location is excellent for Belém: right next to the famous Pastéis de Belém and just down the street from the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos. There are several other cafés, restaurants and shops nearby and the Torre de Belém and waterside are a short walk away. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Good quality-price ratio. Just a tiny note for the hotel: it would be good to have hooks in the bathroom. There was nowhere to hang my towels. But that's really just being picky.

The location was excellent. It was very close to the park we wanted to visit and check in was very smooth. The room was spacious and clean. Check out was also very easy. We would stay there again.

Wifi was bit weak and not enough water pressure when using shower. But it was only for a night and we are happy with our stay.

Room and bed are comfortable. Very basic interior that works for us.

There aren´t enough electrical outlets in the room especially next to the bed. It was difficult sitting up in bed without the bed´s moving away from the wall (need coasters under the legs to hold the bed in place)

Perfect location, ideally situated for local cafés and restaurants and access to Lisbon via tram (15E). Room quiet, clean and tidy, with nice view of gardens to rear.

Decor a little tired and some visible signs of smoking despite signage. Towel hooks in the bathroom and a shelf in the shower would have been nice.
