This was a standard hotel. My room was quite big, with a TV, fridge, and a big, comfortable bed. The view from the hotel room was excellent, but I had a room on the 8th floor. The rooftop breakfasts were OK. There was not much of a choice, though, and probably for more extended stays, they become boring relatively fast. What was surprising was that the bathroom was equipped with a bathtub. Lifts were fast. The hotel is situated just next to the underground, and the public transport in Lisboa was perfect.

The lifts were claustrophobically small. I barely fit in with my backpack. Also, the room doors didn't suppress the corridor's noises. The corridors were very narrow. The bathroom looked like it was in the 70s.

The location and breakfast buffet are the best things about this hotel. It's literally outside a metro station (with two main metro lines) with a direct line from the airport (9 stops away, about 20 minutes). Lots of buses all around as well, so the location is excellent to visit different parts of Lisbon. Breakfast was really good, with lots of hot and cold, sweet and savoury choices available. Staff at reception was friendly and helpful. The room was a good-size family room, clean and with basic facilities and lovely city view (we were on the highest floor, 11th). Beds were very comfortable.

The hotel is quite old - the furniture in the room is not modern-looking and some essentials were missing: no hangers for coats, no hangers at all in the bathroom, large shower but no shower door! No shelves or chest of drawers, just one large wardrobe that was not big enough for all our suitcases (4). The breakfast room is also quite small, but we were lucky and never had to wait to be sat.

The location is very accessible by train. It sits at the intersection of the red and green lines and is a direct stop coming from the airport. I would highly suggest taking an Uber if you're a party of 3 or more since it's cheaper than taking the Metro. The rooftop view is excellent and the bar at the rooftop serves decent drinks and food.

The Wi-fi is slow. The location is a few minutes away from Baixa-Chiado (the ideal location for touristy stuff), although an Uber or the Metro is convenient for daily travel. The breakfast area is in the basement, and although the food and drinks are superb (the coffee machine is excellent), the fake window made me a little claustrophobic.

Location - Metro station (Alameda) is just next door, making it very convenient to get around. From airport, it is only 20 minutes away by Metro (red line). It also means that you get to hear the noise from the trains. That didn't bother me a bit after a while. Helpful front staff - We had checked out early in the morning ( 6am) but had to come back as our flight was delayed to late afternoon. Staff let us have back our room until the normal checkout time. Housekeeping - cleaned the room well.

Condition of room - the floor veneer was pealing off; Housekeeping - on one occasion, housekeeping forgot to replenish our coffee and water. When we call, they had already left for the day.

Great location for coming in from airport (hotel very close to metro stop and no changes from airport metro station). Very good buffet breakfast and views from rooftop whilst eating it (could eat inside or outside). Our room had a massage chair in! Was a bit dubious having never sat on one but it gave a really effective shoulder and back massage. Try it!

Not a major negative but for awareness I assume that the hotel is above the metro as could hear a little bit of noise (nothing with earplugs in).

I wanted a Hotel away from the touristy heart of Lisbon, on the Metro line to the airport. This was a terrific choice. The Hotel is pleasant, the staff are wonderful and the rooftop terrace an extra treat. Breakfast has plenty of options. However it's the area around the hotel that really made my stay memorable. This part of town is very urban and diverse, with apartments, shops and cafes, yet also very mellow, with plenty of streets with little car traffic and an interesting range of restaurants and cafes to choose from. I spent several very pleasant hours hanging out on cafes and terraces and felt very safe and welcome.

The walls are a little thin in the hotel. I could overhear a conversation in German in the next room. The corridors likewise are quite echoey, so door-slamming and loud corridor conversation is amplified and not muffled.

Everything was great, there was even a massage chair in the room and breakfast was at the roof top bar. The view from our room on the tenth floor was very good. The location of the hotel is very good, next to two important metro lines and a park.

Two minor objections. We were looking for a car park, but there isn't, and you can only park on the street for a few hours and for money. The solution was that there is a parking garage under the park diagonally opposite the hotel, you can park there, but it is worth booking the space online because it is cheaper. We used the Telpark application. It would be good if vegetables (peppers, tomatoes, etc.) were also served for breakfast.

The room was comfortable and clean. The shower was wonderful. The breakfast buffet was very good, except for the coffee which I didn’t find to my taste. I appreciated the welcome drink on the rooftop bar. The view from up there was simply stunning. It is right on the subway, which is great for visiting around Lisbon, we just didn’t have time to enjoy this particular feature of the hotel as we were only there for a night.

The AC wasn’t super efficient but we were lucky it wasn’t too hot for the season. Because we were on a stopover between flights, we had quite a bit of luggage which was hard to manœuvre in the narrow elevator.

The hotel is a nice art-deco building, check-in was smooth and fast, staff friendly and helpful. We got room in 7th floor, the room had double windows that helped a lot to lower the noise from the big traffic on the surrounding streets. Our daughter appreciated the cute decorations in a form of a branch and a stuffed parrots and monkey :-) The room was clean and beds comfortable. breakfast was excellent! Huge choice of everything, salty, sweet, warm, cold and the staff was filling everything that went out.

Even though there are double windows, there was really lots of traffic, also ambulances and so on, so the noise from the street is quite big. But you can expect that for the location. Also even though we were in the 7th floor, we heard a lot every metro train going under the hotel. But also that is something you should expect according to the location of the hotel.

The water pressure was very strong, which made taking a shower a most pleasing experience. There was a kettle and tea to choose from, so we had a good time. The hairdryer did a great job of drying up my socks after I washed them. The TV set was playing my favorite movie with Hugh Jackman when I exited the shower, which was an unexpected but wonderful surprise. The view from the window provided a great feeling of Lisbon. The free breakfast in the morning exceeded expectations and reminded me of my stay in the quiet valley in the Swiss Alps some years ago.

The bed was rather narrow, so I had to balance on the edge of the bed to allow my partner to spread across the bed comfortably.
