It's really close to the subway (Alameda), meaning you can easily go anywhere easily. The room is clean and they did change sheets despite me staying for two nights only. There's an electric kettle, so you can make tea or coffee (though it seems it's not often used so the boiled water has a weird taste). It is soundproof, though you can sometimes hear a bit of noise coming from other rooms (mostly the bathroom shower, I suppose). Overall, it is a quiet hotel.

The room is extremely small. There's little space for your luggage. Even the wardrobe is tiny - if you have long coats, you can't properly hang them anywhere. I would not recommend this room if you're planning a long stay as you might get the feeling that it's a bit cramped. Though clean and well-kept, the room looked a bit outdated.

From the moment we entered inside the hotel. We were amazed by the lobby. Friendly, knowledgeable receptionist. Provided us with the best room available inside our pre-reserved price. He went above and beyond with a quick introduction of Lisbon on the map provided. Staff cleaned our room and all tea supply was renewed during our stay.

Some parts of the inventory inside the room were outdated. Nothing major to affect our lovely stay.

Location is great . Near red and green lines. Nice area with shops and restaurants.

The climb from metro station Alameda to the hotel. It's like climbing a hill. My advice stop at Saldanha metro station which is the next stop. From there it's more or less flat and easy to get with your luggage to the hotel.

A great hotel with good location, some bus bad main metro lines nearby to the center of the city. Breakfast was fine, a bit small but tasty. Clean and comfortable room.

Some more electric power stations/charging possibilities next to the bed are needed nowadays. Kettle had a table attached to it and couldn't be used with room facilities correctly in room 206.

Very good value for money Good location Friendly staff Excellent breakfast Comfy beds

Very small plates served at breakfast The kettle in the bedroom was attached to a giant tray which had no socket to plug it in to, the whole unit had to be moved onto a stool for it to be used No milk portions provided with hot drinks in room Shower very small, tight to get into

The hotel is in a quiet area, very clean ,the people at the front desk are always polite and helpful.

It's kind of far from the downtown area. You need to take the metro or Uber.

Always kind and helpful staff. Especially the lady in the evening shift at the reception helped a lot. Simple, but well equipped and neatly cleaned room. Tasty, fresh breakfast. Very good location just outside the city center, a perfect place to start our daily Lisbon exploration. Two metro stations are in the close distance.

Although my payment card was well proven in perfect working condition, the hotel's card reader refused it. There left no other choice than to get cash from an ATM to pay the bill. I don't think this was the hotel's fault, more like a communication problem between our banks.

It was a very pleasant 4-day stay. I had asked earlier for a room at the top floor, 'with a view' - we got it! And the view was stunning. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, explained all about the Metro stations and local attractions, recommended a very nice restaurant nearby. Breakfast was included in the price and very good, with a choice of a variety of fresh fruit, delicious freshly baked rolls, cooked breakfast, and cakes - including 'pasteis de nata'! The beds in the room were very comfortable, the room was cleaned every day.

No serious problems, really... The lifts are rather small inside - but there are two of them. In the room, a little more space between the beds and the desk would be nice... but these are not important complaints!

There were many things to like about this hotel . Excellent staff at the desk were helpful with information and advice, ( especially Wanessa) and the breakfast staff especially Marta and Vitoria and bar staff , Anselmo , all contributed to a happy stay. The room was quite spacious, opening onto a patio ( no chairs ). Good curtains and excellent A/C made for restful sleep. A large comfortable bed , excellent lights, bedside tables. A mini fridge , kettle and tea supplies were appreciated but only one stool for sitting. Good wardrobe and bag bench. Large towels in bathroom with good supplies. Amazing breakfast in an attractive dining area , and the bar open til late in evening provided a pleasant spot for a cool drink .

Our biggest issue was the shower . We had requested a walk in shower as we are elderly but it was so tiny and squishy and poorly designed that once in , if you moved you bumped the tap and either scalding water or cold. If you dropped the soap no chance of picking it up , and the doors didn't close properly so water on the floor. Luckily they were generous with the towels- but only one towel rail! The rooms with showers over the bath could be better. Tiny TV .( never used it) And a steep walk from Alameda station - bit easier from Saldanha but not as convenient.

All staff encountered were very pleasant and helpful. I was pleased that we were asked at check-in if we would prefer a high floor. A good selection of breads and pastries were provided at breakfast as well a hot food, cereals, etc. and everything was replenished regularly. The staff at breakfast were particularly efficient.

The tables were very close together at breakfast and it felt that there were too many tables squashed into the area available. The lifts are quite small and at one stage a couple came into the lift with myself and my husband but an automated voice announced that the lift was overloaded, which must have been embarrassing for the couple.
