The room was a good size for a european hotel those which are usually quite small. So we were very pleasantly surprised!

We loved having bottled water in the room every day, and were quite surprised that the chilled water served in a jug with fruit at the pool area was from the tap. There should be a sign somewhere at the pool bar to indicate that this is water from the TAP. Had this been the case my partner would never had had a glass or should I say many glasses the first few days and was then, as consequence, sick for days with stomach issues. So maybe indicate somewhere that the water in the jug is NOT bottled water. Thank you !

Location was great and staff very helpful

Lots of music noise from the sky bar until 2am which could be heard in our room . And also a large stain on our bedroom floor

Hotel is in an excellent location! Hotel is chic, beautiful, clean and best excellent service. The breakfast spread us superb! Bellman, door man Luis he does multiple duties was amazing! He goes above and beyond! Location is in walking distance to everything! Shops, excellent restaurants & points of interest

We ordered a river view room . The river is so far away that we can hardly see him picture is added. Very bad smell of mold in the room,they changed one room ,in the other it was less smell but still. .

It was everything I expected. The check in was a mess but they sorted it on the day we were leaving. It’s a typical American hotel. Good focus on service. Great breakfasts and a good bar. The sky bar is exceptional.

Our check in was messed up and there was a distinct feeling that they were trying to give us a substandard room. We lost 2 hours of our precious 4 day holiday. That said, they did sort it and we ended up with the room we had chosen. There was a small compensatory payment, which as a goodwill gesture made on the last day left us feeling that they were trying.

The Tivoli Avenide meets all expectations. Staff are super friendly, professional and ready to assist with anything including holding a parcel for DHL pick-up. Our room offered lovely view of the Avenue. Every restaurant experience was superb. Very central to all attractions.

We extended a tour-based stay at the Tivoli by two nights in the same deluxe room at a cost of approx €500 per night. This seemed to us somewhat steep, even for a 5-star. A number of fellow tour participants opted to extend their Lisbon stays in other hotels nearby for half the room-rate and same satisfaction.

The rooms were very nice and roomy. The breakfast was outstanding. The location is also very good as a central starting point to walk around Lisbon.

You can hear noisy music from the rooftop bar late at night. Also, the rooftop bar is beautiful but there is not enough seating for anyone to go up and enjoy a drink spontaneously. It seemed that 90 percent of the seating was reserved which left everyone else having to stand around to enjoy their drink. We took our drink and went down to the lobby which has plenty of seating. The seating for a space like that should be first come first served.

Staff were super helpful and friendly especially Concierge. They were knowledgable and helpful. They also use an amazing taxi firm which is brilliant with trips. Everyone speaks v good English.

We were looking forward to sitting by the pool a couple of hours after our day trips and that was v disappointing. It was packed, and the pool wasn’t big, which wasn’t a problem in itself but for the fact we could not find a sun lounger to sit on. When I question the reception staff, they told me this pool is shared with another hotel!!! Then this should not be advertised as a hotel pool. It does feel more like a public pool.

Location is great, and you'll be within walking distance from most of Lisbon's attractions and best neighborhoods. The staff is very helpful with giving directions, helping with calling taxis and they have valet service and garage if you rent a car (additional cost). The hotel is everything you'd expect from a 4-star hotel and my experience was great.

You may find that the rooms are slightly smaller compared to other hotels I stayed at. The tiny elevators allow for 4-5 people max, which means you may be better off using the stairs to get to your room/lobby if you're at the lowers floors.

The concierge, reception, and staff are incredibly helpful, friendly and attentive. The rooms are a good price for the value. Amazing breakfast with lots of options. The concierge is absolutely amazing and really went out of his way to help me organize a nice surprise for my husband.

the only complaint is SEEN the restaurant- the food was some of the worst I’ve ever had in Lisbon and the service wasn’t good and didn’t match with the standard of the hotel. I ordered the chicken that came with was tasted like a whole container of salt. Lots of items were jazzed up in the menu but when they arrived were very disappointing. We were celebrating a birthday and called ahead but nothing special came out. We eat at the top restaurants in Lisbon so are standards are very high but the hotel is so nice that we were surprised that the restaurant didn’t match that same quality. I also woke up with food poisoning from the restaurant the next day... I always recommend the hotel but tell everyone to stay away from the SEEN restaurant.
