Location was perfect, and everything was clean.
The downside of the hostel is the kitchen, which is open, allowing cooking smells to spread throughout the entire hotel. You can smell food in the hallways whenever people are cooking early in the morning or late at night. The bathrooms lack hand dryers or paper towels; instead, they only have towels, which isn’t adequate or hygienic. Additionally, the sensors in the bathrooms are poorly set and keep turning off constantly, so you have to wave your hands to reactivate them when you just want to wash up. Overall, considering the price, the hotel is great, the rooms are nice, the location is perfect, and the staff is wonderful.

I recently stayed at Room00 Lisbona Hostel for three nights, and it was an exceptional experience. The hostel is clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with a vibrant and friendly atmosphere that made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. A special thanks to André at reception, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. His professionalism, kindness, and helpful recommendations for exploring Lisbon truly stood out. The location of the hostel is also perfect, with easy access to public transportation, great restaurants, and many of the city's top attractions. I highly recommend Room00 Lisbona Hostel to anyone visiting Lisbon, whether you're traveling solo or with friends. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

The location is quite good, 15-20 mins walking from the Rossio train station (direct trains to Sintra), 20 mins by metro from Santa Apolonia station and 40 mins by metro from Oriente station. The room was quite spacious, had everything necessary. The kitchen was pretty big (closed 7:45-8:15am for cleaning) and there was a coffee/chocolate machine that could be used for free in the morning. It was possible to store the luggage free of charge after the cheak out.
Suitable for younger people as everything requires always 15 minutes walk whichever direction to the center or public transport and also there is no elevator. Pretty noisy, -also, we were unfortunate with getting the room right next to the restrooms and heared every single sound whole day/night. No heating (but this is a very common thing in Portugal.) You have to pay extra for a clean towel.

Green Heart hostel was a fantastic hostel experience from beginning to end, when we came in we were greeted by a modern and nicely decorated common areas and the staff were extremely nice and helpful to us, recommending us things to do in the area, places to eat etc. We had a private room which was furnished simply but the building means all the rooms have lovely high ceilings, big windows etc so it more than met our needs. Nice touches were a fan and a really comfy bed! The bathroom, whilst shared, was honestly nicer than many hotels I have stayed in, very modern decor and super clean! A plus was also that there were 3 on each floor so when the main one was occasionally occupied there was always another option and we didn't find ourselves waiting around. The kitchen area was very nice and just the right amount of social, there is a separate lounge area so people did not seem to congregate in large groups in the cooking space, but we had some lovely chats with new friends whilst we cooked! Plenty of fridge space and a good labelling system as well as lots of cooking utensils available. Overall a great experience and we would come back!
The hostel is about a 30 minute walk into most of the major areas/ sights of Lisbon, this was totally fine for us and we liked having a nice morning/ evening stroll but something to note! (Though also ubers in Lisbon are extremely cheap as an alternative)

This hostel was so lovely - the double room was perfect for us. The fan was just enough to keep us cool in the summer heat. The shared bathrooms were cleaned 3x a day and were clean whenever we went in. There was 1 bathroom with a shower and toilet, then another room with just a toilet, and another room with just a shower. We didn’t have any trouble waiting for the toilet or shower, and could go to other floors to use their bathrooms if ours were full. The common kitchen area was lovely, we felt comfortable to keep our food/drinks there. And it’s a great social area to get to know other travellers. The free coffee was great.
It was quite hot during our stay, so we had to keep the fan on during the night and it was a bit loud so keep this in mind if you’re wanting to stay during the summer and sensitive to noise.

I liked their kitchen so i always book it due to that and usually i found this place a little less crowdy.
The mattress of the bed is really worn out I feel like it needs to be changed. Also I got a cough from roommate this time so better is to inform people to wear masks as mandatory if they are coughing or not well. They should reserve one room for females as female dorm.i stayed for 5 days and they refused to clean my bed and change the bedsheet saying that they clean after ( days which was weird.

The staff was amicable while professional. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. Travelled with my partner and it was great. The location is ideal : the metro is nearby so are local shops, fruit shops, pastry shops if you’re hungry. People staying in our room were nice. The showers and restrooms were also clean and we never had to wait to go. Very good experience overall.
We could sometimes hear other people coming and going in the middle of the night. It sometimes woke us up ; it wasn’t the hostel’s fault and it is expected when you are in a hostel. Otherwise it was great!

I had a great stay at this hostel in Lisbon. It's centrally located by the Avenida metro station, in a less touristy neighbourhood that feels more local. The hostel itself is in a charming building, and the staff are super friendly. The common areas are fantastic, especially the little outdoor terrace which is perfect for relaxing or working on your laptop. (Plus, the Wi-Fi was excellent!) The shared bathrooms are clean with regular cleaning schedules, and if one's occupied, there are others available on different floors. The 4-bed dorm is spacious and has a balcony, which was a real highlight. The big kitchen with a bar/desk is ideal for co-working. Overall, it’s a quiet and cute spot that's great for both short and long stays, especially if you’re not looking to party but want a cozy place to stay.
I did have a few minor issues during my stay. It would’ve been nice to rent a lock for the dorm lockers, especially if you’re just staying for one night. The coffee machine in the kitchen isn’t available before 8am, so an option for early risers would be great. Unfortunately, I did get bitten by bedbugs overnight. I don’t think it’s due to the hostel’s cleanliness—my bed was neat and the bugs might be hiding in the wooden bunkbed structures, considering the age of the building. I’m confident the staff will address this issue, so it doesn’t affect my overall rating.

The staff were helpful (they recommended travel tips & beaches!) and the location was PERFECT—easy to walk to the centre and famous spots like SEEN rooftop bar etc. Free coffees from the coffee machine were a nice touch and the kitchen space was very clean with good facilities. Everything felt clean and safe. Would recommend this hostel for anyone exploring Lisbon!
On our first day it was nearly 40 degrees and there was only a fan in the room, some other rooms had aircon so it just felt a bit inconsistent and harder to sleep, but otherwise a perfect hostel.

The staff was super kind and helpful. The bedroom and the bathrooms were very clean, the bathrooms being cleaned 3x per day. It is also a great location with aldi and bus stops super close. It’s also good value for your money.
The kitchen could be a bit more updated and specifically the utensils in it, it’s not really functional. And the mattress was a bit uncomfortable to sleep on, but fine for two nights. I would however mention that it can get pretty loud at night as there is no sound isolation from the outside street.
