Incredible location, beautiful facilities and brilliant staff. We didn't realise we had a snack time and cocktail hour included in our stay which was great. The information provided about local walks was great. The restaurant was also brilliant. A wonderful experience.

The air conditioning didn't work properly. The room was lovely but a little small for the price. We would have appreciated more of an indoor sitting area.

Everything ! What a fantastic place! The view is stunning, the room is spacious, the balcony offered a beautiful view on the valley, the food incl breakfast and dinner were delicious, the massage was sooo relaxing and professionally made...the staff working in reception, SPA, waiters or waitresses, cleaners were all very polite, warm and welcoming too. And thank you also to the very friendly guy who took us twice hiking in the surroundings of the second Burrel hotel, he is mega friendly, knowledgeable and passionate of nature!

Nothing to say except that the swimming pool temperature could be warmer! It was a bit chilly for an indoor pool.

Beautiful hotel in the Serra da Estrela mountains. Our bedroom was nicely furnished and extremely comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful (e.g. preparing us a packed lunch for our hike, ironing a shirt before dinner, reserving spa facilities). Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were delicious and we enjoyed stunning views. Highly recommended if you want a quiet break in nature (and worth the drive!)

We loved almost everything! There were 2 not crucial issues that I would consider to improve: 1) The dinner was a bit not in line in terms of taste with the general level of the hotel. The food presentation was great and also the service. 2) there was a bit of noise from the cars at the road near our suite.

We were lucky to get wonderful room in the hotel. We initially planned to get Panoramic Suite for the romantic getaway but missed it and booked Deluxe room. We've been provided with Maria Keil Panorama which in fact has the best location and view in the hotel which we liked a lot. They also have very good variety of dishes in the menu. Everything is very tasty. Interesting and beautiful design.

I would appreciate deck chairs instead of chairs for sunbasing, it would add more comfort.

This is a truly special hotel in an amazing location. Every detail is considered, from the room design, the textiles (wool of course!), the meals, the spa, and the service. We have stayed at many luxury hotels around the world and this is a truly memorable place. Also the staff is very kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

Nothing, it was all perfect.

Beautifully designed hotel located in the picturesque surroundings. We really enjoyed spa, sauna and massage were great. Dinner was delicious. We could not enjoy our stay more and we hope to come back

The only small issue were very thick blankets that were too warm for summer season. However, I am sure this matter could be solved if we stayed longer than one night

slow service from kitchen , breakfast buffet , very nice, but had to be replenished too often as not enough was put out . coffee had to be ordered and took ages to get, also some orders at dinner got mixed up.

The staff is super friendly. They try to do everything to please you and always with a smile. The breakfast has good variety and everything is fresh and it's replaced really quick and often. You can also do some special orders. We actually had some cake and asked if they could make us one to take home and they did. The rooms are big and the beds are super confortable. The view is beautiful and you can buy a picnic basket and go for a picnic at a beautiful place that they recommend. Overall I would really recommend, we loved it.

The only thing was that the blackouts were being updated and as such they were deactivated and a lot of light would enter the room through the curtain cracks in the morning. Apart from that everything else was awsome.

Great location, beautiful property and great hotel staff! I am very grateful that they asked about dinning with them as you do not want to leave the property at night on those curvy mountain roads.

The restaurant staff were not as warm, friendly or attentive as the hotel staff. The sink in the room needs a place to hang a towel and place your toiletries.
