Pedro was an exceptional host, very friendly and attentive. He was extremely quick to respond to questions and gave great tips, including the Praia de Leça, which my wife in particular appreciated. Due to an unexpected cancellation, we were able to spend half our stay in a bigger room! We ended up choosing to have breakfast every day in the lovely conservatory overlooking the garden, which was well worth the €7, especially with the freshly cooked eggs! The location just outside the historic centre actually suited us well as we needed a transport card anyway and the Casa de Musica offers a variety of good transport links and the guest house is only a 5 minute walk from the famous food market. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

The hotel was spotlessly clean, quiet and had very nice amenities in the rooms. A nice breakfast was available each morning (for 8 euros / person) and the staff was exceptionally helpful - Pedro the manager is so kind and can answer any question, plus left a nice sample Of port wine for us in the room! Rooms on the top floor (Rm 4 and 5) never had any foot traffic pass by so they were exceptionally relaxing. Room 4 faces the street and has a nice balcony to sit outside on. Fantastic food and drink options within walking distance at Mercado Bom Successo which we enjoyed multiple times.

I loved the property. The only small thing I would change is simply that the light from the bathroom does shine into the bed area because of the slatted wall design of the shower. So, if you are up in the middle of the night or early, it will be difficult to not disturb your partner.

a beautifully reformed traditional house. wonderful decor and fittings. spotlessly clean. the queen deluxe room was very spacious with a sitting area and kitchenette. water and coffee restocked daily. pleasant basement breakfast area overlooking the small but neat garden. whisper quiet AC. the personal service from our host was very friendly and welcoming. there are nice restaurants nearby, away from the tourist throng.

the house is on a busy main road so some noise and vibration penetrated the double glazing and shutters. we enjoyed the 20min walk into town but you might not!

The location is less touristy but easy to get around anywhere. The building is an old building which being beautifully renovated with some part of the original tile and building still intact. The room is super clean, and super nice, the facilities and amenities is beyond our expectation. The owner is so kind, we have longest check in process ever (in a very good way) because we talk about the building, the family, and exchanging stories. And thank you so much for the extraordinary porto wine! The breakfast they provide was great and delicious, and very reasonable price. Everything manged very well.

The room which was great, very stylish and spacious. The hotel itself was nicely designed with consistent motive of colour blue. Pleasant space for breakfast in the morning with a view on small, but charming garden. Give it some time for plants to grow and I am sure it will become one of the biggest assets! But from all of it, we are really grateful for Pedro, the owner who got us with his hospitality and Porto drink at the arrival. As a local he will also advise you what to see and eat in the city. The hotel is placed near the metro station, we were with car and places are not guaranteed although we had no issues to find a spot. So please bear in mind it's public and payable. Superb breakfasts!

Beautifully designed and spacious. The owner, Pedro, was so accommodating. Our favorite thing was the daily breakfast in the breakfast room. Delicious and so peaceful.

The room lacked a bit of function. For instance the shower did not have a door, which was very pretty but made it cold in the shower. Also would have been nice if our room had a place to hang a few clothing items.

Lovely room, with excellent facilities. Very comfortable beds . Delicious and sustaining breakfast. Piedro was Friendly and helpful . Nice area away from intense bustle of touristy central area , near very restful and pleasant park with nice little museum . Interesting walk to and from centre or accessible by metro.

We were family of three and really enjoyed staying in this place. Great place to stay - every furniture is carefully selected, in fact this place is quite new, very clean, great service and really liked the kitchenette. It’s about little over one mile walk to the center or attractions. We walked everywhere and even to Vila Nova Gaia. Pedro - the owner was very kind and pleasant to talk. We loved the attention to detail and beautiful tasteful decoration, a perfect mix of modern and traditional. Tasteful and sophisticated. From the moment you arrive you feel a deep sense of calm. Pedro our host was absolutely amazing, so kind and helpful. The breakfasts in the sunny conservatory looking out to the garden were also such a nice way to start the day. A great central location and the most wonderful space.

Excellent breakfast served by our host Pedro each morning. Very fresh produce. Great choice of quality food. The host was very attentive and helpful. He had some great tips on things to do in Porto. The taxi he ordered to take us to the train station was very punctual and both Pedro and the driver helped us with the luggage. Great service!
