Antonio and Paula were extremely helpful and friendly, with a beautiful dog who occasionally made an appearance. Paula greeted us on arrival with a glass of port while she marked a map with lots of info and recommendations. A special shout out to the lovely Eduardo (I think that was his name) who always greeted us with a smile at breakfast. Buffet breakfast was good, nice selection of bread and warm rolls, cheese, ham, cereal, jams and a different choice of cake each morning. Our room was a good size with plenty of hangers and space to store things. It was great to have a small kitchen area and a safe in the room. The bathroom was very clean and nicely decorated. For the price this was exceptional. It's a very thoughtfully restored old house which we were impressed with as soon as we entered.

This may be just our issue, but we found the pillows and matress a bit hard. We probably should have asked about replacement pillows, but we didn't, so partly our fault.

It is tastefully decorated and has a relaxed calm ambience The owners are genuine, charming and very helpful The beds are of a very good size , especially appreciated by my “larger” partner Breakfast was excellent, nicely presented and good quality It was very easy to get around Porto from here and we ate locally at night being oldies. Restaurants were good though we were slightly overwhelmed by portion size

The floors are wooden and beautiful Unfortunately for 2 mornings the occupant/s of the room above started the day or ended it around 6 am with associated floor noise I expect we were just unlucky

Had a very pleasant stay. Very quiet room. The staff was very helpful and nice. It's a well restored building and the inside is very well decorated and full of character. The room was simple but comfortable and well decorated. The bathroom modern and shower worked perfectly. Breakfast a continental. The location is about 5 minutes walk from the underground Casa da Música witch was perfect for me.

It's not really a "don't like" but I would love to have some options of eggs, ham and tomato for breakfast. But it was still very tasty. The Porto city in general at the time I'm writing this is under heavy construction due to the creation of another underground line. If you travel by car don't plan on driving around the city.

Antonio and Suzanna were very gracious hosts. Antonio took the time at check-in to give us a map of the city and high lighted all the areas worth visiting and discussed what we were interested in. We went to Graham's Port Lodge wine cellar for a tour and tasting based on his advice and it was exceptional. My wife took a bad fall and Antonio took the time to drive us to a pharmacy for medications and helped with translations, very helpful! This guesthouse is right in the middle of the city so perfect for getting around. We would stay here again if visiting Porto.

One section of our floor was quite squeaky, but nothing overly concerning.

The location of Porto Music was ideal for me. Nearby Casa da Música Metro with direct line to airport and central Porto, and on main bus route to Serralves and the sea. And a 40 minute walk to central Porto and the Ribeira. And, of course directly opposite the wonderful Casa da Música itself, with its live music, cafe and restaurant. António, Susana and Sandra were very welcoming and hospitable, really helpful indeed. Breakfasts were beautifully presented and varied. My room was great, spacious and light. I was there for five nights - wish I could have stayed longer!

Perfectly and conveniently located! Extremely clean, and beautifully decorated! Outstanding, helpful, and accommodating staff (Antonio e Susana).They allowed us to check in earlier and had breakfast ready for our 5:30am departure. They provided us with a map and detailed explanation of places to visit, to eat, and means of transportation. We wanted to attend a Music House symphony - the tickets were waiting for us upon our arrival. We highly recommend Porto Music Guest House.

The owners are the key to this success. They are very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy, breakfast is good (they should add some fruits or veggies too), coffee is super ok and the location is great for people who don’t want to be in a busy area. Be aware that the toilet door is totally transparent.

The bed is uncomfortable and needs a second mattress above called topper. The topper has a memory foam that is good for everybody. Mosquito net is needed at the windows because we had mosquitos every night.

The owners were extremely kind and offered to help anytime they saw me. They were very fluent in English - which was wonderful, as I don't really know any Portuguese. One of the two sat with me and went through a map and gave amazing recommendations for restaurants, shopping, views, really whatever came up. The room felt very private. The breakfast had a wide range of foods, especially considering how few rooms there are.

We stayed for a week at Antonio's and Susana's beautifully restored guest house. It was very well.located right opposite the Casa Da Musica. Close to the Metro and lots of restaurants and shops near by. The hosts were fantastic. Very accommodating and gave plenty of advice about local eateries and good places to visit. The breakfast was very good and the room we had was spotless. Great shower. This was my first time in Portugal and staying at the guest house added to the whole experience. I will definitely be visiting Porto again and I will stay at the guest house for sure!

There wasn't anything not to like...Perfect!

This is a beautiful, luxurious guest house. Everything from the decor to the quality of the finishings was perfect, and the linens and towels are very high quality. I only stayed 2 nights, and wished it has been longer. I will be back!

Nothing to not like. Just know that there is construction on the street, but I was in the back and didn't hear a thing.
