The room was part of a guesthouse near Casa de Musica, near the metro (and a 20 minut walk to the centre). The Hostess really makes this place special: she is super friendly and helpful, and makes fabulous breakfasts! She'd be happy to give you some tips where to eat and where to shop nearby. The wifi worked well during my stay, as did the AC. The kitchen has a coffee machine and a fridge that can be used by the guests whenever they want, which is really nice. The neighbourhood isn't central, but it's close by the centre and much less crowded, which I appreciated. Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay and I'd recommend this guesthouse to any solo traveller.
The room was small, but it was clean and had everything I needed, so no complaints here.

The breakfast was the highlight, half the reason we came here, and it didnt disappoint! So much food, so much variety. Isabel was so accommodating! Anything you needed, she was right there helping you out! The bed was very comfortable. The place was surprisingly quiet…with the shutters open, there was some traffic noise, but once you shut everything, noise was not an issue. Location to the metro is also excellent…though we just walked each day. Communication was excellent. Value was excellent, and we would not hesitate to stay here again.
Nothing really. Maybe the shower could have been a bit better thought out, with better pressure, but it was not an issue, this is me just nitpicking small things.

I had an extremely pleasant one-week stay at Domus Dourum. The accommodation is just 3 minutes from Casa da Música, a lovely area with access to the metro and dozens of buses that take you anywhere in the city. Izabel is the perfect host; everything is spotlessly clean, the rooms are charming and equipped with everything you need, and the breakfast she prepares every morning is especially delicious, varied, and generous. In a word, I felt at home, even though I was nearly 4000 km away. When I return to Porto, Domus Dourum will definitely be my choice again.

The very good reviews convinced us to book our one-week-stay at Domus Duorum. Many guests mentioned Isabel in their reviews , and they did it for the right reasons! She made our stay like we would have visited our aunt in Porto. She prepared us a delicious breakfast every day and we chatted a lot. Not like a host - guest chat, but like an open human being to human being chat. About the room: it was cleaned every day, it was spacious enough, we had our own bathroom. Air conditioner should be mentioned as well - even if we used it once, because we were lucky enough and the weather was not that hot. We were allowed to use the refrigerator in the kitchen, make a coffee there once in a while or just use glasses, plates and such. The metro station ''Casa da Musica'' is only few hundred meters away, and from there almost - if not all - metros were bringing us to ''Trindade'' station, which is only a few minutes by foot from the city centre. Nearby is a supermarket, a kind of mall (Bom Sucesso) with a nice food court, and few other coffee shops. Our return flight was in the evening, and we were allowed to check-out later than usual and were allowed to stay in the kitchen / terrace / living room as long as we wished. Porto exceeded our expectations, and a big part of this was our stay at Domus Duorum. Maybe we'll come back one day, but till then we'll always remember Isabel and the very nice week spent there! Thank you, Isabel, and please send our regards to Aurora as well! :-)

Domus Duorum really was one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed in. I would call it a home from home. The delightful Isabel and the other lovely ladies who helped, were always ready to pamper us in any way possible. Starting with the breakfast which was really tops, everything you could ever want and Isabel would also personally cook you bacon and eggs or pancakes. There was always fresh fruit and juice, fresh bread butter and jam, cheeses and hams and different cakes and biscuits every day plus of course hot coffee and tea. Then the property itself was so clean, tidy and welcoming- as I said just like coming home - with all those little touches that make it feel just right. Isabel also informed us if the places to visit and where to eat, in fact she recommended a local family run restaurant call Rosa da Porto just round the corner which had great local cooking at very competitive prices. I also felt Casa da Musica was a great place to be based as you’re away from the hustle and bustle of the city and between the city and coast. Great transport as near the metro and buses that take you to Porto, the coast and the airport. I would thoroughly recommend Domus Duorum and hope to return very soon .

Our stay with Isabel was excellent. She was extremely helpful and friendly. The cleanliness of the pension was better than some 5-star hotels. Our bedroom was at the front of the house on the road, nevertheless, it was very quiet, We had a slanting roof which restricted your headroom slightly, but you soon got used to it. The pension was well situated, it was only about a 7-minute walk from the Metro and also 7 minutes into the center of the village, with plenty to see. I highly recommend this pension, we will stay there again.

We were looking for a quaint Portuguese bed and breakfast style home accommodation for our stay in Porto. This home was exactly that. Quaint, quiet, clean. Isabel, the owner was very tentative to all our needs and was very passionate about ensuring a positive stay with her. Her breakfast was outstanding with lots of selection and great coffee. The portions and variety of Portuguese breakfast food was generous and lovely served in the outdoor courtyard. We were so full, we skipped lunch and we’re not hungry until dinner. The beds were comfortable and the linens crisp and white. The location was easy access to the Metro station and buses and only a short walk to restaurants. This was good value and I highly recommend a stay at Domus Duorum for more of a personal touch. Thank you Isabel for your hospitality!

When arriving in Porto the property is within walking distance of the metro, which connects to the airport and city centre. Although Porto is a busy city, there was almost no noise due to its location. The hostess (Isabel) provided a wonderful breakfast and gave some good suggestions regarding points of interest. In addition with a very well taught out and clean accommodation makes this a strong recommendation when visiting Porto.

Stayed here for just one night and it was perfect. Isabel was kind and extremely helpful. She wasn't available to meet me for my check in but this was no problem as her instructions were clear and easy to follow. The room was clean and had everything I needed, with a cute little terrace outside. The breakfast was delicious and the weather was warm enough to sit outside in a small, peaceful garden area. Casa de Musica (metro) was an easy walk away, with access to the city. I would definitely recommend!

We had the best stay at this B&B! BEST BREAKFAST we have ever had at a B& B! Eggs (scrambled or fried with bacon and ham and mushrooms, depending on the day and if you want them, a basket full of delicious bakery bread served with butter and jam, a plate of fresh fruit, coffee, juice, a platter of cheese and meats, pastries, even yogurt and granola or pancakes also, If we wanted them, were offered. And a salad one day, just when I needed it. Isabel the owner truly goes out of her way, and she always asks if you want any more. Isabel is also extremely helpful, gave great restaurant recommendations one called Rosa very close by. If you are a walker, you won’t even need to use public transportation. We mostly walked everywhere but when it rained once and when it was late and we were rushing somewhere, we took an Uber, which was very reasonable. The metro is also close by.
