Good location, 15 mins walk to main attraction areas. Staff attitude was good. Room was clean.

The room was on the street and noisy at night. (The following part is not about the hostel and is purely a personal emotional outburst: on the second day a couple checked into the room, and at night, the man of the duo came back later than everyone else, with no manners when some of the roommates were already asleep. He slammed doors and put things loudly. But he got his own sleep and snored so loudly that everyone was woken up ...... even his wife was woken up and complained. What's even funnier is that his wife was woken up and started taking out her phone to watch video apps without headphones ......... Maybe that's why these two got married

We liked the eating area, well-equipped kitchen and nice outdoor area. The room was also nice with a view of the balcony. Attractive decoration and space. We would recommend to others to stay there; met some nice people there too.

People sometimes smoked close to the kitchen, even if it was outside, the smell could waft in (it's gross that people smoke in general, but I guess that's Europe--we aren't so used to it). Also, it was a little bit of a surprise to have the bathroom on a separate floor. Rooms where the external bathroom is on a separate floor should be cheaper.

The property is very clean, staff is amazing and nice! Bathrooms are good since it’s not a big hostel. Stayed in a shared room and all beds had lights, plugs, and place for your to store your belongings and lock it. Breakfast was simple but good, specially for the price payed per night. Kitchen was always clean, fridge had small boxes for each person to put their name and separate items. Very nice garden too!! Couldn’t recommend more!

Nothing I didn’t like, maybe “too far” walking to the city center for some people, but 25 min walk was not a problem at all for me.

I stayed in a private room. The staff were super nice and helped me with my requests and also my luggage (they're only on site for half a day though). Everything was clean and nice. The terrace and common areas are very pretty. There's soap to wash hands. There's a fridge to store your food and a kitchen to cook. 10 mins by metro or 30 mins walk and you're in the downtown central area.

It's a renovated building with no elevator - I had to carry a heavy suitcase to the 3rd floor (luckily, the staff helped me). There's no shampoo or body was in the shower. There are only 2 bathrooms and 2 showers for the entire hostel, and they're mixed - I never had to wait in line for each of these, but some people have been complaining.

Everything is perfect. Very nice building, very clean and furnished with good taste. The garden, as other people pointed out, is a big plus: a small quiet and peaceful area in the big city, a very pleasant place to sit and take a rest. One of the best things is breakfast (included in the price). I've been in many hostels in my life but I think this was the best breakfast deal I ever got in a hostel: the food is varied and abundant. The guys working there are super nice and helpful. I don't understand those who complained about the noise in other reviews: this hostel is located in a city, not in the middle of the forest or in a mountain village, what do they expect?? Anyway, at night I didn't even hear the noise. The few cars that passed on the street in the night did not disturb me at all (and I live in a quiet and peaceful small town, so I'm used to silence...)

Everything was really fine, that's why I'm giving them the best score. But if I may suggest something to improve the hostel, maybe it could be helpful to keep some towels for the guests who didn't bring theirs.

Location great, not far from bus and metro stops. Breakfast was smartly prepared, using those jars you save money and environment. It was ready late in the evening so people like me who leave early can have it before they go. Not my first choice of food though but it wasn't bad, yoghurt, eggs and butter and apples that will do :) Beds were comfy enough, bathroom and common areas clean. Nice backyard. Girl on the reception super nice.

My room was on the street side so it was noisy all night. Didn't get much sleep also because of other people snoring. I would separate the rooms boys/girls. Same with the bathroom as it was only one. It was bareable for 2 nights but I wouldn't stay for longer in mixed bedroom.

It was really perfect hostel in Porto. Near to the center, we didnt need to use public transport. We walked about 20-25 min. to the center. We also got to the airport without any problems. There was a metro station near us. Hostel was super clean, even though the bathroom was shared, it was perfectly clean. The room for two was nice, clean, well equipped. Breakfast was simpler, but it was enough for us. Isi at the accommodation was super nice guy.

Great location, close to public transport, bus stop to bus station and trains 2 minutes walk, Metro 5 minutes walk. 20 minutes walk to Porto centre. Really helpful staff, giving assistance as required. Big bedroom, bright and airy with comfortable bed. I had a double room, not a bunk room. The whole place was spotless. Great breakfast included. Didn't feel like a noisy or busy hostel. Big old building with beautiful wooden floors. Would definitely recommend and go again.

I stayed in a mixed room with bunk beds. Friendly staff, clean beds, a well-equipped kitchen. The best thing about the property is, very close to the Marques metro station. You can go everywhere easily by metro. There is groceries nearby. The most of the time it was quiet. There was a peacefull backyard.

The closet where I would put my luggage was a little small for my luggage. And ıt need a little lock. I had bringed a big lock according to the closet.

I loved it all. This central, humble and cozy hostel has it all! I loved the garden in the back yard with the hortensias. I loved the clean, airy and comfy kitchen. I loved the daylight and the windows everywhere. I loved the nice, quiet and considerate quests and most of all - the 2 managers, Rui and Isi who are so helpful and caring.

I did miss a little night lamp in my bed and a little shelve on the wall. I also would appreciate curtailns but these are just small things. I loved staying here and will surely come back here. Fytģĵ
