they should improve better the costumer services when comes to some of their crew member, seriously had a very bad experience with few and they should improve the costumer service at the call center as well

Diversified breakfast and friendly staff together with wonderful and well treated surrounding environment. The room was very large and comfortable. Possibility to know about the past history of the place in some nearby buildings. Some sculptures and paintings displayed in the corridors and public areas of the hotel. Free access to the spa that includes a very large pool.

The room was reserved well in advance but some instructions given about its decoration for a special romantic occasion were lost. It was necessary to wait at the lobby to have it ready but the decoration and welcome gift was well under the expectations taking the level and quality of the hotel. It was also difficult to understand why the room was with such a limited view when in the second day of the stay the hotel was empty, reason why the breakfast was not buffet but "a la carte".

Although conceptually there is a good choice of restaurants, in fact two of those listed are off site (30 minute drive away)and three are good but with limited capacity, taken up by external customers. This leaves two options - bar snacks (good quality but very limited menu) or a shockingly bad (both service and food quality) Italian restaurant massively over-priced and which should have no place in a five star hotel.

The room is very conformable, the breakfast is amazing, the kids club and playground outside are spacious and full of diverse equipment for all ages and the staff was really friendly.

The water in the inside pool should have been warmer; They should also alert that there is no staff at the kids club, only on busy holidays time; The property should alert the clients that there is on ongoing construction on the site and that there is construction noise for basically almost all the rooms from 8am until 8pm, every week day.

Amazing staff, they will go the extra mile, we arrived at 1030 and got our room straight away. This property is extraordinary with the best gym I have seen in a hotel that category. Asian food restaurant was unique, the breakfast was fantastic. Great location for Sintra and Cascais. Very pet friendly, my dog loved his tipi. I sincerely recommend this quiet and beautiful place.

The tapas restaurant. We arrived very late which did not seem to please the waitress. She was not that friendly and we were rushed through the whole dining process. I had asked for mixed vegetables, I got a mixed salad instead but for the price of the former. Food was not bad, but for a place like that, only satisfactory. No comparison to the Asian restaurant.

Great location (not close to the sea/beach like the other 5-star hotels in Cascais but more remote in the natural reserve/hills towards Sintra). Very nice hotel with two beautiful pools (though water is cold/freezing). Fantastic staff, especially Carolina and Beatriz at reception who helped us with restaurant and sail boat reservations!

Bathrooms are nice and big but starting to show their age. The pools, especially the adult infinity pool, were quite cold.

Loved the breakfast although not all staff were efficient and waited a long time for eggs! The poolside made the experience. We had a room with a balcony at the back of the hotel, the grounds were very shabby and not pleasant to look at. Quite untidy on the ground behind hotel. I thought the room cleaners did an excellent job of maintaining our room with fresh towels etc.

Due to the limitation of covid was not possible to use the restaurants and we had to ask for room service. External pool was also disable due to covid.

Beautiful setting. Fantastic facilities for adults (Michelin star restaurants, gym, spa) and kids (in-/outdoor play areas, pool). Comfortable rooms and well laid-out so the pool, lunch restaurant, kids club, wellness and gym are all right next to one another. That way one parent can do a quick gym session whilst the other is entertaining the kids and vice versa - or you can put your kids in the kids club of course. All just a 20 minutes drive from Lisbon.

Pool, towels, water, sunbeds. Water in room. Quiet aircon. Room servicing. Friendly & helpful staff everywhere. Midori amazing. Responsive housekeeping when forgot to refresh cups & milk. Lovely views & setting. Quality of food good in all restaurants visited: Spices, Midori, Bar, Arola.

Some things to improve: TV remote control that works. Shower bottom that doesn't leek. Add BBC to TV options. Make clear how to get a line on phone. Adult pool less green & as warm as main pool. Warm plate for 'hot' breakfast food. Some things really not right: Overly expensive in many areas. Cheaper wines dreadful & not cheap. Terrible noise of motor racing Sunday 0900-1500 - unbearable. So called 'music' around the pool was just a relentless techno babble irritation with no ability to hear any tune. Expensive wines pretty average. Number of menu food items not available in Arola. Nearest plug for kettle is on floor opposite coffee station.
