The room is spacious with a large mirror on the wall, allowing you to check your outfit from head to toe before heading out for the day. Although the lighting in the room is a bit dim for applying makeup, the bathroom is well-lit for this purpose. The room is clean and well-maintained, with daily bottled water provided, along with essential amenities like soap, tissue, and toothpaste. The sheets are changed regularly, and if you need to iron your clothes, the hotel offers an iron for borrowing. The hotel also has an elevator for easy access to the rooms, and the rooms are secure as they automatically lock once closed. Just remember to always keep your keys with you, unless you want to risk locking yourself out before leaving! The staff are very accommodating, especially Sir Alvin, who was particularly helpful upon our arrival. The location is very convenient and budget-friendly, with affordable food options nearby. There's a hawker center right below/next to the hotel and a 7-Eleven just a short walk away. Although we didn’t use the MRT during our stay and opted for Grab rides instead, which we found to be more convenient and faster, the location remains practical.

On the downside, the absence of a bidet and “kabo” makes it somewhat difficult to properly wash after using the toilet. Additionally, the property rarely replies to Booking messages, but rest assured that your reservation is booked and recorded, and you can pay upon arrival, either in cash or by card.

The location was convenient and the concierge staff were very helpful. The room was big enough and comfortable and the housekeeping staff made up the room nicely everyday. When my safe got stuck I told the concierge staff and they came up immediately to help open it. Overall I had a good stay and will definitely use Hotel 81 Elegance again when I come back this year.

A writing desk would have been great as I needed to do some work at the hotel but couldn’t.

The staff at Hotel 81 Elegance were very friendly and the house keeping staff very consistent in the quality of their work, which was very high. I wish there was a desk for me to do my work on, but every thing else was top notch. I had a peaceful rest every night and I couldn’t hear anything next door or downstairs. The room was well lit with thoughtful controls to light the room for different needs and the sheets very clean. The house keeping staff gave me lots of mineral water, coffee and tea every day and topped up my towels. I felt very looked after and enjoyed my stay here very much. I will be coming in September again and hope to use your services again. Well done!!! It was a great experience.

I wish there was a desk for me to work on my computer and to write my ideas down on. Also the 5th floor toilet pressure is a bit low.

The room is clean. The staff cleans the rooms and changes the bedding every day. Hot water is available 24/7. The hotel is conveniently located near convenience stores and bus stops, making it easy to access. It is approximately 750m and 500m away from the nearest MRT stations. Staff is nice.

My bed is quite small considering I am 5.4 feet tall. The wall is slightly leaking water from the bathroom.

Hats off to Hotel 81 Elegance Front Office Executive Alwin, for his exceptional service and guidance to us throughout our stay. Hotel was conveniently located to MRT and Bus. Only about 700m to Mustafa and walking distance to Little India. Just next door was Bistro 8. A nice place for foodies to explore the flavours. There are more than enough places to explore around the Hotel and the staff members will assist you with everything. Also you could take just one bus from infront of the hotel to go to Sentosa & Vivo city (no.65)

The hotel is very close to the Bus stations and a few mins walk from the MRT station. The staff is very very helpful (especially Jasmine). The rooms are not very huge or big in size but are decent for 2 people if all you are supposed to do is sleep, get ready the next day and go out and not spend much time in the room.

The toilet size could be bit better and shall also have some more basic facilities.

you know what? not a bad place! the reviews keep complaining but for the price, it wasn’t horrible! The staff are just limited, because they can’t fix some of the issues that are wrong with the building, but they do try to accommodate! The staff was great!

The AC is controlled by the main desk and the internet is weak. If they fix those two things, this hotel will get 1 more star.

👍Please note that we booked the hotel because of the great near local big Olympic Size Jalan Besar Swimming Pool for exercise for only 1SG$ entrance. The hotel staff is very friendly...but the rooms are very small only around 10m2 and half of it with NO WINDOWs. So please be aware what you book and read the room notes well! With window prices are a bit higher. Around Hotel lot's of Restaurants and Street Food to select. Also only 2min walk to bus station for direct double decker bus to Chinatown or 8min walk to MRT train station for Raffles Place for Marina Bay / Boat Quay Singapore River or other side for Changi Airport. Room NO WINDOWS - with windows higher price??

Location of hotel, cleanliness of hotel,check in/check out process was hassle free. Many food options are there near by or else indian ppls can commute through bus easily to little india daily for food.everything is good about hotel.

Price point is bit on higher side,breakfast should be provided.

The front office staff were very friendly. We felt like at home. They were very helpful with us. They were very flexible. Welldone. Keep it up.

It would have been better if toilets had air fresheners also.
