- New designer hotel with numerous interesting details - Amazing view, but a bit noisy from outside - Quiet and good soundproofing, you can't hear your neighbors - Cleanliness: cleaning and changing towels daily; - Convenient location: near attractions and close to the nearest metro station (2min) - Quiet and safe area, close to restaurants, cafes and mall

- Unbearably long queues at the reception, very slow service. Unacceptable for a 4 star hotel! - There is not enough information about the operation of the gym, swimming pool, breakfast restaurant - The gym was always closed, although it was supposed to work 24 hours, you had to stand in a long queue to ask to open it. This is not acceptable!

The location is excellent, with very convenient transportation, and the shopping center is nearby. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the hotel facilities are well-equipped and very clean. However, there are some inconveniences: there are no coffee or tea bags provided in the room for guests, and there is no hand soap, so we had to use shower gel as a substitute. I hope these can be improved.

A brilliant hotel in the heart of Singapore. Located only a 30 second walk from Orcahrd Boulevard MRT Station makes it an ideal location to explore the city. Good sized rooms for Singapore. The hotel manager, Hadiyah was absolutely brilliant and went above and beyond to help make our stay comfortable. Truly exceptional customer service.

Rooms are modern and comfortable. Bathrooms are tight and privacy is a little compromised, but location and value for money are both excellent. The proximity to the variety of shops and restaurants in the adjacent Tanglin Mall is a real feature and the easy access to the MRT at Orchard Boulevard provides very good access to other parts of Singapore, on the Gardens by the Bay MRT line and the retail Centre of Orchard Road. Wouldn't hesitate to re-book.

Bathroom is strictly a one person bathroom which could be inconvenient for some.

It was our 50th wedding anniversary and were promised a cake but we did not get one. also the morning we were leaving we were supposed to get a wake up call, but we did not. Lucky we set our own alarm or we would have slept in.

Great location on the very new Thompson MRT line which is clean and uncrowded. Good size room with delightful banquette in the window. The room overlooked the pool and had a very open aspect. The property is connected to a good sized new mall with many good restaurants. The MRT has direct line down to Marina Bay so very simple.

Perhaps a slightly faster check in process though there is an automated non-human check in available too.

Fantastic location. MRT is right in front of the hotel entrance and there's a small mall connected to the hotel with cafes, a few retail stores and a grocery store. Botanical Gardens is a 10min walk away, which made it a great location to have a jog while admiring nature. If you don't want to walk that far it's also 1 MRT stop away. The MRT line in front for JEN Tanglin is also leads directly to the Orchard shopping district, Marina Bay and Gardens by the bay, making it super easy for tourists to venture out. A short 5min walk from the hotel there's even a bus that can take you to the Orchard shopping area. This bus also stops near Fort Canning Park and takes you to the Changi Airport! Staff was also very friendly and the room was quite spacious and comfortable. Bed was also comfortable to sleep on, firm and not too soft. Didn't try the pool but it looked beautiful, 24hr gym was a little worn out but still very functional, and offered a phone charging station, equipment disinfectant, water and towels which was very handy

Breakfast at J65 could have been better. There were the usual options of common fruits, cereal, pastries and precooked boiled, scrambled and fried egg and a few international dishes. Considering it was a hotel buffet I would have liked more variety and traditional Singaporean dishes and fruits. Most of what was offered was basically what I could have found in my pantry/fridge at home so it just didn't seem worth the money as I could've gotten better food outside for a cheaper price.

The rooms are pleasant and comfortable and the staff very helpful. The location is superb as the hotel has direct access to the Tanglin Mall and the MRT rail station is across the road allowing for easy access to Orchard Road shopping.

Location near MRT good. Room Compact but well-designed and had everything we needed. Breakfast good quality but see below. Piped filtered water in room means you can refill your own water bottle.

The hotel did not cater well for gluten and dairy free Western diets. I asked the chef to advise me what I could eat. He was totally disinterested. They had a fresh white gluten free loaf and almond milk available, nothing else. No cereal, no soya yoghurt, no gf breakfast cakes. We advised the hotel in advance and rechecked with them before arrival. We stayed a full week. We were very unimpressed. Other hotels we stayed of much lower calibre prepared me gfdf breakfast pancakes. Gf rostli. I did ask if he could make pancakes - answer no. The individual serving staff were excellent; they remembered my milk and bread every morning. This is a management issue. Gf cereal and bars are sold in supermarket opposite!

Breakfast was decent and varied. Very close to the train station and the line went to all the main attractions. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Swimming pool is great to cool down in the Singaporean heat

Dinner at J65 was expensive and the food was okay. Definitely better and cheaper food elsewhere.
