A very pleasant stay in an upmarket hotel. Good facilities, great food and wonderful staff. We done Michael for dealing with the room issue!

The posting on booking.com app does not make it clear that the basic rooms are internal and do not have a window. The photos give the appearance of the room having a window this is clearly misrepresentation. Fortunatley the hotel resolved this issue to our satisfaction

My wife Michelle and I love everything about this hotel. While I’m writing this review, we’re still staying and having a wonderful time here at Astoria Current and celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary here. The room that was assigned to us had a problem with the aircon and we had to wait for them to fix it since it can’t be fixed, Michael the reception officer ( excellent customer service) upgraded our room and the room was great. All the staff were so attentive, helpful and very friendly. I’ve been to different hotels in the Philippines, Thailand and in Italy but the customer service here in Astoria Current is outstanding (5/5). The food is great, the pool is so amazing. Special thanks to Michael (reception area who is super amazing and wonderful ) he made our stay so special, all the waiting staff especially Alvin and Joshua(the most amazing staff in the restaurant), Ericka, Kevin,Jshua and Raymart (restaurant staff who are truly helpful) and most especially the band ( entertainment) of the hotel who sang our wedding song and made our wedding anniversary so memorable and special. My special thanks to Riza (an amazing massage therapist) of the Astoria Current Spa who always helped me feel relaxed and revitalized after every massage. All of the staff made it possible for us to have an amazing and memorable experience here in Boracay. We truly appreciate all the kindness. We will definitely recommend it to all our friends in Italy and the Philippines. We’ll definitely be back. Michelle and Jephraim Oro

Very very nice hotel. I booked last minute but it was super good decision. It is actually very big complex; with a lot of rooms; swimingpools; a lot of other facilities such as massage, bar, restaurants, private transfer, doctor on call etc. Staff is super nice; always helpful. There is a lot of options for breakfast. Rooms are ok; clean; maybe bed could be little bit bigger. I didn’t have windows in room; so next time I will book room by pool with windows. Close to hotel is supermarket. 1min walk. And on the other side is famous White Beach. If you choose this hotel you will not be disappointed.

Beachfront on white beach with amazing sunsets. Scrumptious buffet breakfast with good variety. Large pool in the shade. Easy transfer arrangement through hotel. Great restaurant.

Guests have to use the space in front of pool access rooms at the bottom as a walkway to the beach and restaurant, which means that the room curtains at the slider door have to be drawn at all times as there is otherwise no privacy. There is also a lot of noise of shouting children playing in the pool right in front of those unit's door. Next time, I would rather book the upper rooms for more of privacy.

The Foods and how the staff accommodated us.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Most of the staff went above & beyond to provide our needs. We truly felt Filipino hospitality. We travelled with kids and the staff were so friendly and always smiling. There's a couple of lifeguards at the poolside, which gave us peace of mind while the kids were swimming. Restaurant food is pricey and has limited options, but with the best quality. We ate at different hotel restaurants nearby, but the Astoria restaurant is way better. Seamless travel with the airport transfer service, reasonable price when you think of comfort and convenience.

Not enough umbrellas. It was raining during our stay. But it's understandable, the hotel was packed.

Beautiful property and convenient to so much. Staff was especially kind and helpful. Room was clean and well maintained. Used room service once and the food was hot and timely. Also had a pop-up that kept asking me to connect a device to the TV but no matter my selection, it wouldn't resolve and would come back. An engineer was sent up and resolved quickly and was very courteous.

There was some sort of hammering noise that took place over my room Saturday afternoon and started again about Sunday morning around 8a.m. I assume some sort of maintenance. The sound of chiseling at tile perhaps. No large concern other than it impacted rest due to a rainy weekend keeping me inside a good deal.

Amazing hotel with the cutest staff! Food was nice, and waiters are amazing! Pool is clean, rooms are clean, everyday cleaning, and also you can ask to dry your clothes in drying room I should to say that hotel staff is the best thing there! We lived on 2 flor and karaoke bar was under us, and people singing till deep night, it’s okay if you are without children, I know that everyone here to chill Ice cream calling! It’s too annoying hear that sound too long, ringing the bell not a few moments, it was during for so long time, sometimes we asked to stop

The staff are excellent and friendly. Location is perfect in front of the beach. Transfer from airport was well organised and comfortable. The breakfast choice was excellent and staff helpful. The hotel has great facilities, clean and a holiday atmosphere.

The standard rooms have no window or natural light and are boxed in between two hallways. The rooms are not suited for families because they are too small. I suggest you book a pool view room on the second or third floor so you don’t have too much noise.

The room was spacious and clean. Great location, beachfront, near 7/11. Helpful staff. Breakfast buffet was ok. Complete kitchenware and toiletries.

Had multiple issues with the AC. Missed lunch as their engineer took almost 3 hrs to fix it. Bath tub was small and blanket is thin. TV is located right beside the bed. No windows, has glass door but no view, and bidet is not wired so can't control the water pressure. Clogged kitchen sink and no dishwashing soap.
