The hotel is superbly located in Sliema which is a great base to explore all the different parts of Malta. Very easy to get around to Valletta, Gozo and Comino from the Sliema port. Lots of nice little restaurants and bars to visit. The hotel staff were lovely and exceptionally helpful, especially Cristian. The cocktails at the bar were delicious and we enjoyed the happy hour offers. Room was lovely and kept nice and clean - easy to get more top ups of towels and other essentials. The range of complimentary tours on offer is fantastic and there is something for everyone to ensure they can make the most of Malta. We really enjoyed the vintage bus tour which took us to the palace gardens, Mdina and the Dingli cliffs. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. So glad we did this and didn’t just get a taxi to Mdina as we originally planned!

There were too many poorly behaved children in the spa which meant it was not relaxing. I have no problem with children being permitted access to the spa pool and facilities but they were throwing cups of water around and leaving the paper cups in the pool, jumping in the pool and splashing other users. Staff kept coming to look but did not manage the situation. There were a lot of maintenance and building works happening directly outside of our window which disturbed us throughout our stay, it was a shame to be woken up before 6am on holiday. I’m not sure we would have booked if we knew!

Very good facilities and exceptional staff. Breakfast was very nice. Situated close to nearby shops/restaurants whilst being within a short walking distance of the nearby ferry port and excursions.

Let down by surrounding building works all around the property, which wasn’t mentioned either on booking. Com or on the official hotel website prior to booking our stay. Building works started at 07:30am in the mornings during weekdays.

The staff are extremely friendly and take very good care of their guests. You are definitely in good hands at this hotel. The breakfast was also very tasty and above all warm. The location of the hotel is quite good, you can reach the bus stops on foot in a few minutes.

The main picture appears that the hotel has a pool, especially as the photo is the main picture but it doesn't. The pool is at a beach club down the road and was closed when we attended due to it being out of season.

Lovely hotel with great facilities. Nice spa with sauna and steam room. Gym was better than expected and very well equipped (and open 24/7!). What I would highlight from my experience in this hotel is the staff. Incredibly attentive, friendly and polite staff. Absolutely everyone I interact with was very pleasant, from receptionists, bar / restaurant / breakfast staff, spa staff, cleaners, etc. Thank you!

The rooms were clean and there was AC. The breakfast was really good, the tastiest scrambled eggs and fresh orange juice 💛 The pool area was in a good place and usually quite chill 👍

Was surprised that when doing the check in, the receptionist didn't give any introduction about the hotel and what is possible to do there. Just confirmed that we have reservation and here is the room code and that's it. Had to specifically ask when is the breakfast and where it is. Had to go and find the pool area myself and later found out that there is a spa area and complimantory boat trips. Would have the receptionist told us about it, would have gone to spa and boat trips as well but we learned about them too late.

I do not have words to describe this fabulous hotel. I do not see why people are putting low grades,they do not deserve this. This hotel is a perfect example how every hotel should look like. From Staff which are kind, professional. Rooms are so clean, comfy, lighty, great cosmetics in the bathrooms. Great SPA, a special Praise for Tatiana. Great food in the restaurant. This hotel is the best Value for the money. Beach club fabulous so so great. Message to manager please keep this team members of the hotel. They are the pure gold of the hotel.

We like the welcoming and very helpful staff all over the hotel. We recommend using SPA. The location is good - you can easily reach any destination you wish. The standard room is enough for a short break, cleaned on a daily basis. The tasty breakfast and variety ootions to choose from. The Chrismats Eve - 5 course dinner was above excellent - we want to compliment the chefs at this point. The usual menu also offers delicious options to choose from, and the meals were delicious. The evening visit of the housekeeper manager to check if we need anything was another advantage, and receiving a small gift for the room was a very nice touch. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and experience in this hotel due to fantastic staff that cares.

A truly small drawback was the renovation and a bit loudness in the next building, but honestly, it did not spoil our stay. We understand that works must be done, and you can not avoid such circumstances sometimes.

Fantastic staff that spends time getting to know you even on short trips. Everyone smiled and was willing to help or go the extra mile. Breakfast was great. Plenty of options for everyone. The location was good for the ferry ride to Valletta and for walking along the water.

Was surprised that the indoor pool that is advertised is actually part of a spa and kids are only allowed 0800-1000. It worked out ok for us (and the facilities are nice!) but it was a surprise that locations in the hotel (restaurant and rooftop pool as well) didn’t allow kids. We travel with and without our kids but had them on this trip and would like to have known the age restrictions in advance. The rooms were a little plain and tired in some places. Housekeeping was great and worked hard but some artwork or mirrors might warm it up a little.

The rooms were well furnished and clean and we had great views of the city and the sea to the side. Staff were very welcoming and responsive to our small needs, the app they provide for room access works well and the Wi-Fi was speedy for the things we needed it for. The beach club is a great facility that does exactly what you need in terms of food and drink shade and sun and a great place to chill out. The roof terrace and pool are also good, but we preferred the beach club which had more space. Breakfast was very good with hot and cold options as you might expect in any hotel of this class. Finally, the GV restaurant was very good and we enjoyed our final evening in sumptuous décor with excellent food and wine.

The hotel leans on the "Spa" element of its name harder than it should. While it was pleasant, some parts did not work. The pool was cold the first time we visited and only a couple of the jets were working, on our second visit the steam room was out of action. The Sauna is good but only accommodates 4, so you have to wait your turn. They do limit numbers in the SPA and it was a pleasant addition to our stay, but it you are expecting a "SPA" in german style then you will be disappointed.
