I like the Eurostyle rooms with the big walk-in showers. Always clean. Bathroom illumination is very good for doing makeup. The location is good if you have a car to get to most things and parking charges are OK. Ate a small plate at the bar. It was freshly prepared by the bartender (who must disappear for a moment to create) and was very tasty, as was my martini. Bartender was convivial and happy to chat when not busy (I have found this on previous stays too with at least two other bartenders). So if traveling solo on business that's a plus. Short drive to some good restaurants, if you do go out.

The 'included' breakfast (midweek morning) was desultory and substandard - had some bacon and a pancake and a bit of toast: The bacon is paper thin and baked(?) so bacon-y in flavor but lacking substance (shatters with a fork, so it is only readily edible if picked up by hand) and the pancake was so dried out it had seriously chewy edges. Yuck! Just up the road is Ritter's Diner - a local institution since the '50s - will walk the block to that in the future I think. There are NO in-room safes which is very unusual for a big city hotel these days.

The room was very modern and clean. It was spacious enough to accommodate my daughter's wheelchair. It was also large enough for the family to be able to spread out and not feel on top of each other. There was plenty of storage for our family of three.

Some of the rooms around us were pretty noisy. Thankfully, this didn't impede on our visit but I've been to other hotels with better sound blocking in place. The pool could use some updating/paint touch ups. No additional sheets nor pillows in the room. I also found it odd that the king bed had normal sized pillows on it, but they were comfy enough.

Breakfast was good, staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, pool was perfect - actually warm! The bed was really comfortable. The whole room was very clean, and I am pretty particular about this.

Shades are a bit hard to pull up and down, and the kitchen was running low on dishes. Only a few forks, for example. Not a big deal, though.

I liked everything, it was clean, comfortable and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. we came for the Taylor Swift concert and they even decorated the lobby with Taylor swift themed balloons perfect for taking photos before we left how thoughtful!! I was blown away. We got back very late and they had recommendations on places still open to order food. We are beyond grateful for the amazing service all with a smile!

I love everything about this hotel. It's exceptional for the price, The staff are great, breakfast is very good, and this hotel is very clean. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. It's more than 4 Stars hotels, I recommend this hotel, I will definitely come again

Great positional location in Shadyside and amenities for the hotel.

Getting in and out of the hotel is difficult with all of the streets and one ways. There is a lack of garbage cans in the hallways.

The property was in a great area walkable to many restaurants and grocery store. Close to public transportation. The staff is very friendly. And the hotel is very clean.

There wasn’t anything I did not like.

Loved the size of the rooms and the amenities. Great breakfast.

Our shower was not very clean- just needs a new shower curtain liner. Also, the bartender was expected to cook food on a Saturday night.

Location is great and parking is convenient (though not free which is expected in a city location). The buffet breakfast was surprisingly delicious. The staff was really friendly, courteous and accommodating. They have a pool, which you have to reserve, and we actually liked that feature as it gives you an hour of private pool time. The hotel had a faint aroma that I couldn’t describe but over all, the room was impeccably clean.

That faint aroma was a bit strange but granted I have a pretty sensitive sense of smell. They made a few errors with our room booking and initially put us in the wrong room but they were super quick to remedy it and made sure it was all taken care of. Selfishly, wish we didn’t have to pay to park in the lot.

All of the employees were great especially the ones in the breakfast room. Front desk staff was exceptional and were always willing to help. Room was clean and well kept as were the hallways. The pool area was clean but the pool could use some service such as paint. The bathroom was an inconvenience because it was locked had to leave the pool area and go down the hall, slip hazard and very cold.
