We had the pleasure of staying at Elton in Cape Town, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality. The apartment is beautifully decorated, with a perfect blend of modern comforts and local charm. It’s spacious, clean, and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location is exceptional, just a stone's throw from some of the best spots in Cape Town. We loved being able to explore the city with ease, knowing we were returning to such a comfortable and peaceful stay. I can’t recommend this stay highly enough! Whether you're here for a short visit or a longer stay, Elton in Cape Town is a perfect home away.

I was visiting my mother who lives locally and found Sue’s accommodation on the internet... every now and then one comes a little gem and Elton is certainly one of them! Our stay at Elton was excellent and Sue made sure that everything was just perfect… from dairy free milk right down to vegan soap. A delicious fruit salad with yogurt for breakfast out the veranda with a rusk. The attention to detail was exceptional and a different take on what one normally expects in a B&B, and this is what make Elton stand out from the rest I would recommend you stay at Elton...you won’t be disappointed!

Very close to the Vincent Pallotti hospital, therefore very convenient. The room was 100 percent. You really do not need more. The pricing was very affordable for what you are getting. Aircon, lovely bedding, chocolates, water, there was even soap and shampoo in the bathroom! The parking for the vehicle was safe and off-street behind a gate. The area was very quiet, so we had a good night's sleep. I really think Sue can really consider upping her price!!

Nothing not to like about the accommodation

What an incredible find! Our stay at this Mowbray, Cape Town B&B was a delightful surprise. The room was beautiful, situated in a secure neighborhood where we felt very safe all the time. Parking was behind the host's car in the same driveway, but posed no inconvenience at all. Everything we could wish for was provided in the room, and the breakfast of fresh fruits, yogurt, and cereals was a fantastic start to our days. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Communication with the host via WhatsApp was seamless, and the location was perfect for both accessing Cape Town's center and the airport. Plus, it was excellent value for the quality received. Highly recommended for a comfortable and well-located stay in Cape Town!

If this booking is available you must take it! We had a lovely time staying with Sue. Every morning we had a fresh breakfast of fruit, yogurts and filter coffee, rusks were topped up, cereal options, milk and home baking popped in throughout the day. The room was cleaned daily to a really high standard and every thing was beautifully clean. Sue also provided really nice shower options - dove! and she did our washing as we were staying after a week of already being away. Every time we caught paths she chatted away and was incredibly friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend staying with Sue more - we will definitely be back!

A small but perfectly equipped, cosy room with little patio. Very good self catering option and ideal for solo travellers with a car (I don't know how it would be with public transport). Nice and quiet area. Baxter Theatre Centre and Irma Stern Museum only 20 mins away by foot. Host Sue is a very nice person and will answer all your questions. Very appreciated: the bord friendly garden!

Nothing at all! I felt extremely comfortable there!

The room was so lovely and clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The room is exactly as the pictures described. There were multiple different crockery provided (plates, bowls, cups) as well as utensils. There is a microwave, cutting board, kettle etc., everything you might need to make a small meal. Breakfast of cereal and fruits were offered as well as coffee and milk. This experience was over and above of what I expected!

Absolutely everything you want or need from a guesthouse are there. Very clean and comfortable. Fruit and yogurt in the morning was a nice surprise. I will definitely stay there again.

The only thing I did not like, was the location. But there is nothing the host can do about that, so I can not hold it against her. Nothing wrong with the suburb or feeling unsafe. Nothing like that. Only that it is not conveniently close to shops or tourist attractions that I know off. Had to take an Uber to get to the V&A Waterfront as well as the Neigbourgoods market. But it is just a minor inconvenience. We will definitely stay there again if the opportunity arise.

The room and everything in it was clean and tidy. Our car was parked safely on the property (behind security gate). Sue (our hostess) was friendly and efficient. The room was well equipped with everything we could possibly need and more. The shower was bigger than expected and all of the bathroom fittings are of quality and seem brand new. The bedding was luxurious and the room had enough counter/shelf space for our own goodies. The wifi works well. We enjoyed spending the early evening on our own private patio, taking in the garden's greenery. It was a peaceful, comfortable stay and close to where we had to be. Great value for money - there is a microwave, bar fridge, kettle, and enough kitchen supplies to save money on eating out. I wish we came across this gem earlier!

Beautiful room, very high quality bedding and bathroom facilities. Big room with plenty of space and bonus to have kitchenette facilities too. Very welcoming and extremely quiet and peaceful. Quite close to the airport for those needing easy access.

In a nice quiet part of town a little out of the centre. Not at all a problem - just worth making a note of when booking! Ubers were quick and easy from here.
