Beautiful posh little stone hotel with a gorgeous full service spa in a lovely neighborhood. There was nothing *NOT* to like. Stefanie the aesthetician at Banksia Spa is a consummate professional, from the first email we exchanged about my appointment months ago to the last spa treatment yesterday, she was delightful. The rest of the hotel staff is so welcoming, my room is a beautifully curated slice of history, and the neighborhood extremely quiet. If you get the chance, stay in this little gem, you won't regret it.

Cold house, not well isolated (noise of other guest and cold). The door could not close easily, daily fight. No proper chair and desk, so it's not the best option for business trips, but perfect for lovers.

A beautiful property with unique character and lots of luxury touches. Huge room and extremely comfortable bed with lovely linen and towels. Super friendly and attentive staff. Being summertime, we enjoyed the pool. A very central location.

Room had tons of cupboard space but very few hangers. Breakfast took rather long - it would be helpful if guests could at least access their own coffee and juice. Parking needs to be clearly demarcated.

Gracious space with beautiful furnishings. Comfortable and well equipped room.

Bathroom was a little cramped. Lighting could be better in the parking area.

I didn’t like our particular room. It was room 6, right off the landing in front of the front door so noise from people incoming / out going and staff chatter at the back. Also there was sky light so sun came in early - so not able to sleep in

I loved this hotel. From the moment we pulled up at the gates I knew I would love this hotel. The exterior is lovely. There's a lovely garden and parking for guests. The pool area is simply stunning. Our room overlooked the pool area and was very spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable and there was a large bathroom with his & her basins, a large bath tub and separate shower room. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was nice and plentiful. This hotel has a quiet, peaceful atmosphere and I would highly recommend it.

The only issue was the shower room by the pool area has a lock that sticks and is difficult to open from the inside. This really should be fixed as it is a known issue with the staff.

I loved the decor and vintage vibes in the house, and the quiet atmosphere gave us a moment of calm at the end of a long trip. The staff was extremely professional and accommodating of our need to store our bags until our flight and all three ladies we interacted with were friendly and nice to speak with! Room was spotless and had an amazing view along with a reasonably priced minibar from our view spending USD.

This is a random suggestion, but I feel like a resident dog or cat would be a really great addition. The hotel is already homey and unique, and it would make the stay even more memorable. The fenced-in yard is perfect for this! Just one animal lover's opinion :)

Very friendly staff. We had to solve a challenging situation upon arrival, but they were friendly and helpful. Easy access to the property, clean and beautiful room and bath, old victorian styl, comfortable bed. We only stayed one night before we had to leave early for the airport, so we did not have breakfast nor used the pool. Our room had a lovely balcony with amazing sunset and view of the back of table mountain. Drive to Airport less then 15 min.

I enjoyed the breakfast. The staff really did attend to you.

We had some noisy neighbours who were a late walk in. They kept us up until 03:30.
