Villa Puccini is fantastic in so many ways, and we absolutely enjoyed our first weeks stay at Liz and Carlos wonderful place! The rooms are spacious, well equipped, and all rooms have straight access to the beautiful garden and the pool. Liz is such an attentive and wonderful host with amazing attention to detail. The breakfast is beautifully put, fresh, and delicious and served in the garden with different table settings - such a joyous way to start the morning! Clean, calm, nice staff, and easy to take an Uber to the city. Would come anytime again, highly recommended! Thank you!

A bit better hairdryer would have been preferred, but otherwise, we can't find anything that wasn't as good or better than expected.

Review of Villa Puccini Our stay at Villa Puccini was absolutely perfect! Liz is incredibly friendly and welcoming, with a great eye for detail. Everything in the accommodation is just right—from the beautifully designed rooms to the shared spaces and the stunning garden. The garden is truly a highlight, offering a peaceful and well-maintained space to relax. Our room was extremely comfortable, with a fantastic bed that made for a great night’s sleep. Everything was spotless and impeccably clean, making us feel right at home. We had an amazing time at Villa Puccini and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Liz and Carlos are incredibly thoughtful and wonderful hosts. Huge spacious beautifully and tastefully decorated rooms and a great bathroom. Wonderful linen and comfortable bed. Attention to detail is everywhere. Rooms look out onto a pretty garden which is beautifully lit with delicate lights and candles at night. Breakfast was fabulous taken on the terrace overlooking the pool. The location is also perfect, in a quiet neighbourhood giving easy access to the wine lands, Constantia, the coastal bays and the city centre. Highly recommended.

Liz and Carlo were excellent hosts. Our room was spacious with doors opening onto a veranda, garden and excellent pool. So quiet, it was lovely sitting having a glass of wine in such tranquil surroundings in the evening with beautiful lighting. The guest house is situated in a leafy safe residential area. Easy to get into Cape Town 10 minuets and handy for just about any area surrounding Cape Town. We will be back here on our next visit to Cape Town

We stayed three nights with Liz and Carlo. I don.t say Villa Puccini, because they give you a warm welcome, they are always available when you need some advice like restaurants, interesting places to go and above all Liz and Carlo are extremely kind and gentle. Always in for a talk, if necessary with a grappa. The house and the rooms are beautiful, very quiet at night, and the description on their website and booking is correct. This is one of the first places in our lifelong travelling that felt so beautiful and Liz and Carlo felt like friends we knew for years. So warm, so kind, so beautiful. This is the reason why we like travel, meeting people like Liz and Carlo. On the practical side : breakfast with very fresh ingredients from the garden, very good fruitsalad, evrything you can expect from a continental breakfast. Taste the homemade cookies ! Secure parking on the grounds, quiet neighbourhood, easy access to restaurants. Book it !

Rooms are very nicely laid out - clean - and the shower is big and has good water pressure. There is a great supply of coffee and tea -and I don't think one would ever run out - or have to ask for more. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts - with the highlight being the fresh fruit salad on both mornings and on Breakfast 1 the fresh squeezed orange juice. The weather was spectacular on both days we were in CTN - and the setting for breakfast on the patio by the pool is beautiful - with birds and squirrels hopping around in the garden. The Puccini's and the cleaning staff are extremely helpful and are always eager to help - although we didn't need much. A nice plus was that the WiFi and Internet access worked during load shedding.

Only negative is that there is no power in the bedrooms during load shedding - although wifi is still available at those times.

We would love to come back to this place, and we met many other guests who keep coming back just because this place is amazing. It just feels like home, you can feel serenity from minute 0. The room is super comfy, clean and spacious. The breakfast was basic but enough. The owners are so lovely and helpful! We will be back for sure.

Villa Puccini is perfectly situated; easy to get to and close to the centre of Cape Town, 15 minutes away. Liz and Carlo offer what I consider a typical, gracious, South African welcome in their charming home; relaxed and easy. They have two rooms looking onto the lovely garden. Our fellow guest was out in the evenings and we therefore had the garden to ourselves, with Liz and Carlo arriving with wine on the second night. It’s unlikely we’ll be back in South Africa any time soon, however, it would be worth the trip just to revisit Liz and Carlo If glass, chrome and high tech modern (tho’ the Wifi was excellent) is your thing, that’s fine. If, like us, you’d rather experience something rather more authentic, you’ll appreciate the undoubted charm of the the lovely Villa Puccini

At the time, the furnishing and equipment in the rooms considers functionality and the very specific needs of travellers with great attention to detail.

Everything about this place is wonderfull, it is a gorgeous Villa which is beautifully decorated. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, the bed is amazing! Liz and Carlo are wonderful hosts, the make you feel at home. The breakfast is amazing and the garden is a delight, especially in the evening when thousand little lights shine around the swimming pool.
