A nice mid-range hotel, rooms are comfortable especially the beds. We had a balcony room for two nights, with a view of the roof top pool. Weather wasn’t sunny whilst we were there so only used the pool once. It wasn’t heated. There was a fridge & kettle with tea & coffee supplied, as were bathroom products. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice of western & asian foods. Eggs can be cooked to choice & are to order. Excellent host.

The only thing about this hotel is that the rooms show their age a bit. But really didn’t affect our stay at all and I will book the same hotel for our return.

The hotel is well placed in the city center with easy access to MRT for transportation. Airport was half an hour away and easily accessible via multiple channels. Excellent breakfast, beautiful pool and gym and my 4 year really liked the kids pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were tidy and clean and we had the luxury of a balcony in our club room. The club lounge which we had access to was of a decent size, had a peaceful atmosphere and food/drinks range was exceptional.

The only thing that could have been better is the size of the club room in comparison to club rooms we have stayed at with other hotels.

The staff were so helpful very friendly & nothing too much trouble. My suite was exceptional, very very spacious. Room Service was excellent. For upmarket shopper the hotel is right in central shopping heaven, a bustling buzzing Mecca with excellent restaurants at every turn. The public bus at the front door, taxi stand at the side & 2 minute walk to train so getting around was a breeze. I’m not upmarket shopper and after coaxing staff told where to find ‘local’ priced food halls, supermarket, chemist & cafes I found my Mecca just 2 buildings away.

Being in the busy bustling upmarket shopping area: just my preference is the parks & gardens (and there were a few hidden away there).

The concierge and reception staff were outstanding... as were the breakfast crew ! Concierge also organised our airport transfer and allowed use of facilities at pool to freshen up after checkout for our flight later that day... this was greatly appreciated after the heat of Singapore during our day tripping and before departure. Amazing service .. . Thank you. We will stay again after this experience upon return to Singapore.

Would have been nice to have bottled water in my room.

The staff made us feel very welcome and they were friendly and helpful. The staff prepared all the registration papers and room keys for us before we arrived at the hotel. Our room overlooked swimming pool and have Balcony and it was spacious Room was clean . Bed was comfortable Hotel located in Orchard street and 5 mins walk to Somerset MRT station and 7 mins Dhoby Ghaut MRT station . The Hotel was safe .

The only thing that was disappointing was that I smell dust in the room when I come in . Other than that, I can’t fault the place.

The location at the bottom of Orchard is excellent. The room is of good size but the shower is great with an interesting location of the control at the other end of the cubicle than the shower head Breakfast was good Pool was good Generally a pleasant and well run property

The room A/c was a bit hard to get to my liking. The huge lobby really needs a bar to give it some atmosphere.

Excellent location, clean rooms, good value for money. The staff are very friendly,knowledgeable and helpful.

The plates for the breakfast buffet were cold, but really this is just one of my pet hates. I like my hot food on warm plates. Otherwise a very nice breakfast.

Very helpful and approachable staff. Comfortable waiting area and toilet access before checking in and after checkout - until time to head for airport. Great location - right on Orchard Street, walking distance to main shopping area and other convenient services/stores.

Location is unbeatable and the staff is so lovely and attentive.

Place is a bit old but comfortable but rooms are a good size and clean. It could use a revamp but the location and staff compensate.

Club room was excellent

Used this hotel a lot previously for business, the lighting in room very dull, if I recall there used to be a standard lamp behind settee, none in Room 923
