The location is excellent. The apartment, although small, is quite cozy. We loved the charming little terrace. The host prepared a complimentary mini-bar with snacks, which was a very nice touch. The host was very accommodating, allowing us to leave our luggage in the hallway before check-in and after check-out, as we arrived much earlier than check-in time and departed later than check-out time. We stayed for two nights, and we were pleasantly surprised that the apartment was cleaned after the first night. It was a very thoughtful gesture.

Finding the place was not difficult, but communication made it somewhat challenging. Due to the instructions, we didn’t get into the apartment immediately and had to wait for a few minutes under the scorching sun for the owner to respond to our messages. The owner didn’t answer phone calls, which would have made finding the apartment much easier. Similarly, with check-out, the owner allowed us to leave our luggage in the hallway but required us to return the keys, meaning we couldn’t retrieve our belongings without the owner’s response. When we returned for our luggage before heading to the airport, we had to call the owner continuously for 15 minutes to get our things. This slightly marred our overall impression of the stay.

Mama House Roma was comfortable, clean and had all we need for our stay. The location was great, very close to amazing restaurants and a 20-30 minute walk to most sites in Rome. The hose was responsive to my messages and helpful. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to visit.

There is construction happening on the building, for anyone who was wanting to sleep in this would be an issue as the noise started at 8am. It was fine for us as we we wanted to be up and about exploring, but would be frustrating if that was not what you were doing for your holiday, may be good to advertise this.

The place was clean and comfortable. It was easy to access by bus and there were really good restaurants in the area. They had snacks and water, which was pretty good. The attention was almost immediate.

We didn't like the light coming from the TV at night. We also couldn't find a switch for the terrace to keep the light on. The isolation from the windows is not that great. We also wished there were more pillows but the owner did tell me to ask per WhatsApp if I needed something so, we might have solved it.

The property was very easy to find and is close to bars and restaurants in Rome. It was furnished nicely also. The owner was also lovely and was very accomodating with us during our stay.

The only thing is that there is a bit of mould in the bedroom which I noticed on our second day, but other than that, it was lovely!

We loved the location in the Trastevere neighborhood. The area felt safe, was very walkable, and there were many fun shops and great restaurants around. It is also easily accessible to the other main points of interest in Rome. Everything in the room felt updated and clean. We enjoyed sitting out in our personal courtyard in the evenings.

The location is great- Trastevere is a lovely area that is close to all the main sites, but quieter. Lots of restaurant options nearby. The room was great- small, but clean and had everything you need (we especially appreciated the coffee and snacks in the room). The little balcony was nice as well. The check-in process was easy and the staff was very responsive.

I loved everything about this accommodation from the large, comfortable and clean bed to the mini-fridge and complimentary cakes, coffee, water, etc. as well as cups, dishes and silverware. There was also a lovely, private and spacious terrace, which was accessed through beautiful glass doors with lovely wooden shutters. The air conditioning worked perfectly and the hostess was always extremely gracious and helpful. On the last night, there was a short power outage in the neighborhood, and I discovered that the room also had an emergency light, which I was extremely grateful for! All in all, a perfect accommodation in a perfect location. Highly recommended!

The location couldn't be better. Close to the bars and restaurants, but not so close as you can have a wonderful silence at night. Algo enjoyed the bar across the street and the bakery around the corner.
