I loved the friendly greeting we received from Sharon upon arrival. Our bags were in our room when we came back to check in and the parlour was a huge bonus, the free wine made for a lovely nightcap. To top it all the breakfast was outstanding. Overall a wonderful stay and hope to come back again. I will definitely be recommending The Bedford Townhouse.

We found the heating hard to get to a comfortable temperature (probably our fault), so we opened the window and the street was quite noisy. Not much storage space if you had a longer stay but I suppose it is an old building.

The Bedford Townhouse is in a great spot, really close to the Three Bridges Walk and sights like King John’s Castle. When we arrived, we weren’t quite sure where to start, but Laura at reception was super friendly and gave us some awesome tips on places to check out. Thanks to her local knowledge, we found a couple of great bars and had a really fun time. Big shoutout to Laura! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the waterfall shower was a nice touch. The breakfast included was tasty, and the restaurant staff were really welcoming. They even gave us a free coffee when we checked out, which was a nice touch for the trip back to Dublin. All in all, a really great stay. Míle buíochas!

Probably the best small hotel I’ve stayed in in Ireland. I travel a lot and to have a comfortable bed, as far as can clean room a terrific shower is not exactly common. From Sharon at the front door when we arrived to the complimentary lounge in the basement with chocolates and water and a beautiful seating area as well as ice in the fridge is incredibly rare. The place is wonderful and will be my base in Limerick from now on. Well done to the staff. The attention to detail is incredible and absolute standout is the breakfast which is included. From the service to the actual food everything was impeccable.

Wonderful stay! We were here for Limerick races, and unsure if we’d make the 6pm cut off time for reception closing. This was no issue at all, all thanks to the amazing communication on how to access the building/room. The building/room itself; spotless, modern and so cosy. Probably some of the comfiest pillows I’ve ever slept on. Also the little welcome card was a lovely touch. Breakfast; excellent!

Genuinely don’t have a single bad thing to say. At first I felt it was maybe on the pricey side but after staying I can confidently say it was worth every penny!

Room was stylish and had a lot of extras like slippers, bathrobes, iron, free water etc (no fridge), staff was extremely nice and helpful, entry after 6 pm instructions were easy to follow and detailed. Location very central, still quiet. Parking discount voucher.

I dislike à la carte breakfast, the portions and composition is never what I want. Partner had Veggie breakfast with eggs and vegetables which were very salty. I had cooked Porridge which was too hot, too sweat (despite asking for Porridge without honey, which was not possible) and had exactly 8 blueberries and 1 crumbled walnut on top. Vegan options were not available at all. Hence, breakfast kind of ruined the experience.

We arrived very late that evening, so we had a bit of a problem finding the exact location in the dark. I would suggest arriving earlier. The location was perfect. It was in the heart of Towne Center, so everything was within walking distance. The breakfast next door, at the Limerick Tourist Center, was very good with a helpful staff. Charlie was especially helpful in giving me ideas of things to see in Limerick. The room, as well as the facilities, were spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. It was the perfect place to stay.

It met our needs for a stay in Limerick very well.

The warmth, courtesy and helpfulness of the staff was among the best I have ever experienced. A big shout-out to Sharron, she went out of her way to make sure the stay was as pleasant as it could be. Breakfast was excellent, with a good range of choices on the menu. The location in downtown Limerick is also perfect if you want to explore the city. Our bedroom, though located on the first floor and therefore close enough to street level, was quiet and well insulated from the noises below. The Bedford will definitely be my first choice go-to for any future stays in Limerick.

With regard to the hotel, there was nothing I didn’t like and I cannot recommend it highly enough. But be aware that Limerick unfortunately suffers from a range of social problems, some of which are on display around the city centre - and not for the squeamish. A crying shame for a city that otherwise has so much to recommend it.

Delicious breakfast included in the price, thoroughly recommend the Limerick breakfast - plus very good quality barista coffee too. Room was small but very comfortable, clean and well equipped; handy to be able to Chromecast to the TV to watch your own content. Staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming.

The only minor downside was that there are no tea and coffee facilities in the room, you have to go down to the lounge to make a drink - but the lounge is a lovely space and there is fresh milk available.

Great location! We liked walking around the city center. Easily accessible parking garage across the street and great breakfast included. The rooms were modern, clean and well-appointed. Very comfy bed. Definitely recommend.

We had an issue with the keyless entry pad on our room randomly not working, but the staff was very quick to respond and change the battery. They had it fixed in no time. We appreciated the quick efforts to resolve the issue, and they offered us complimentary wine in the lounge while we waited on the repair. Overall, it was an amazing stay!

Perfect experience from start to finish. Sharon at reception was so helpful in arranging some birthday surprises for the room, and couldn't have been more welcoming on arrival, reserving a table for breakfast for us and explaining the carpark voucher/discount (the carpark is not on site, but directly across the road) Extremely clean and cosy room and facilities. Breakfast was delicious. We were so well looked after by Denise (I think) and our waiter. I can not stress enough how impressed I was with every staff member, very engaging, very chatty, very helpful. It's the little things that matter in hospitality and they have this down to a tee...

If I had one thing, it would be that I found the bed to be soft and a bit lumpy. I know it is a subjective thing, as I like a firm mattress.
