The staff on site were phenomenal extremely friendly and helpful there was two girls on the front desk Emma and I can't remember the other girl who were so helpful accommodating and friendly best part of the hotel was the staff and lobby and restaurant were fab. I did however prior to my arrival speak with a lady from reservations on the phone who was less than helpful with a situation causing panic on a 2.5hr trip we wouldn't be able to stay. this issue was quickly and professionally resolved by the girl on front desk on arrival

The room has stains on the carpet marks on the walls beds were clean as was the bathroom but there was also a breeze coming in the window which it appears was attempting to be blocked by a rolled up towel, the price for one night with late checkout was €349 not inclusive of breakfast which in my opinion was not worth the money, the TV was basic no access to apps just basic channels again for the price point it wasnt impressive

Location was perfect for our stay. Close to where we needed to go Mary Immaculate College. And close to the restaurants and shops where we visited. Check in was very straight forward. Room was really lovely. We stayed in a very comfortable family room perfect for our children 6 and 12 years. Beds were so comfy. The ease of parking and at the discounted rate was ideal for our stay. Parking is secure and close. The pool was lovely. Small, but perfect for a late evening swim with the children. Staff in the leisure center were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Facilities are clean, small pool and changing facilities but very well kept. Our bedroom view was beautiful of the city and the river.

The lifts to the bedrooms are plentiful but could be a bit funny at times. One would work, the other might not! Breakfast was lovely, we had breakfast very early one morning after 8am and everything was perfect. In busier times such as past 9am we found we had to wait a little longer for fresh top up of rashers etc..but all to be expected at busier times. Area is small so arrive early of you want to be seated on time. We were met each morning with a lovely smile and calm manager who seated us and remembered us each day. I felt this lovely lady handled the busy atmosphere very professionally.

Excellent hotel and facilities. Great views to the river Shannon. Close proximity to Limerick City Centre. 10 mins walk max. Food & Cocktails very good. Room spacious and uber quiet. Cant fault. Will be back in 3 weeks time for our second stay.

The Lift. Lift has a habit of stopping on a number of floors, when the door opens, there is nobody waiting to get in. This maybe a people problem. But may be worth checking out the lift. As our room was on the 12th floor, the lift does take its time in getting to reception.

The Clayton hotel is always our go-to hotel when visiting Limerick 😁we always go to Limerick at this time of year to do some Christmas shopping and celebrate our wedding anniversary. It is so central, and it's a lovely and friendly hotel. We always bring our children with us as The Clayton is a really child friendly hotel. So that is one of the main reasons for staying there. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Keep up the excellent work guys😁

The room was lovely and spacious. The water was nice and hot. The bed was very comfortable and clean.

The heating didn’t work and we had to get the waiter who bought our food up to check it. I was also told that the prices had been bumped up but I have no way of proving that. The bath also had hair in and around it. And the receptionist tried to charge me a second time for our breakfast. When I challenged him, another receptionist came to check and said that it was a mistake but it took a few minutes while our taxi driver was waiting to take us to the airport.

Breakfast was expensive. Was Charged 14 euro for my two year old.

Room was lovely & spacious- gorgeous view out over the river. Bed was comfortable. We didn't have the opportunity to eat at the hotel but the bar was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is excellent - we were there for a gig at Dolans which is a 2 min walk from the hotel.

The bathroom was a little run down- could do with a fresh paint. But nothing else stood out at all

It was a last minute booking and due to August Bank Holiday weekend we were lucky to find the 2 rooms needed for an emergency accommodation . The staff was kind and professional all along and very helpful as well. The beds were very comfortable but that didn't surprise us , we book the Clayton very often in our travels through Dublin airport and we know we will have a great sleep.

Given the last minute circumstances we couldn't ask no more but we were given 2 rooms in the old side of the hotel so even if they were refurbished , you could tell by some details they were old. Example : the toilet door didn't close properly as probably expanded and you had to push hard to close it . The plugs were in weird locations , like the headboard of bed behind the pillows with the usb plugs behind your head while you sleep is not ideal in terms of health but for one night was alright. There was a curtain that did not close properly and there was a bright spotlight in the docks by the river hitting our window so was a challenge to block that light coming through the window and sleep .

From the moment we checked in, everything went so smoothly. The concierge was very welcoming and efficient. The room was lovely with plenty towels and space even for two adults and two children. We spent an hour at the pool and walked into town for our evening meal. Breakfast was lovely with a good range of items to choose from. Especially impressed with the gluten free section.

Not a complaint but maybe more water in the room for four persons. There was just two cartons. Also maybe a choice of pancakes or waffles for kids. Overall, a fantastic night away from start to finish.

Room was a triple which was perfect for our needs. We had food in the hotel which was quite tasty and service was efficient.

I had requested an early check-in to which i initially received an email confirming same, then moments later i received another stating it was unavailable. Heating in the room did not work properly and when i entered the room it was quite cold.
