Very nice little hotel in the very center of Limerick. You can reach bars, pubs and all sights by foot. The breakfast is amazing. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful.
I am really not picky on noise, but wtf, what are they doing? The bar downstairs is playing music extremely loud outdoors until late at night. And the worst thing, there was noone enjoying that music? There was excactly one couple sitting outside. No people partying nor dancing, just terrorizing the hotel guest - I don' get it....

Great location. Relatively easy to train and bus station. I did a day trip to Galway. Amenities are very nice. The staff is very polite. You must be buzzed to enter, so there is always a nice smile coming and going. Nice streets to walk to pubs and cafes.
TIS the SEASON!!!!!! Well I arrived the Friday before Christmas so most people were enjoying the ramp up to Christmas. In other words, P A R T Y...... My room was located over the hotel pub, overlooked the parking lot for St Michael's church ( I wasn't late for mass) and just outside a popular pub. Needless to say it was loud until after 1am. So apart from any grand celebration or Irish national holiday (March 17th comes to mind), I would love to stay again. But maybe ask for a room facing The Milk Market. Happy Christmas. P. S. If you want a true taste of an Irish pub give Gerry Powers a try. I met the manager (Thomas)on my bus trip back from Galway. Souls of Limerick I tell ya.

The location was very good. Close to pubs, sites to see, transportation. Also close to the Milk Market where you can get lovely coffee and sweet rolls on the weekends. There was a young woman who worked at the main desk and she was lovely, very helpful and cheery. We liked that they brought ice up to our room everyday. The beds were great. King sized and very comfortable. We liked that the windows closed tightly enough to block out some of the street sound.
Our room was quite a good size and we'll set up. The room where the other two people in our group stayed, however, was quite small. The breakfast was not great and we only had one breakfast 8n their dining room It is important to note that the staff warn people repeatedly about the music from nearby pubs. They really mean it! If you are disturbed by background street sound, this may not be the hotel for you.

Hi there; I have seen your question regarding what I liked about the Old Quarter accommodation and I just wanted to say that I have found the room number 101 that I booked and stayed in this week very clean and a nice big room. I found the customer service team member I met very friendly on the way in and helpful once I arrived at the accommodation too. I found the location to be near the train station as well as the O'Connell street and I am thanking you kindly for your nice accommodation in Limerick city . This message was sent by Thomas Declan Galvin Address is Athlone in the Republic of Ireland.
I have seen your question and I think that the room I got was very spacious . The accommodation was possibly a little out of my usual price range unfortunately.

Great location, was central to where we wanted to visit. Rooms were clean and comfortable and room was available earlier than expexted.
Thought the reception staff could have been a little more friendlier. Though I expected the location to be noisy, without the music playing loudly from the pub would have made the townhouse part much quieter, a decision for management on which part of the business is more important. Also very disappointed with choice for continental breakfast. There was hardly any selection of pastries, just a few measly mini croissants and scones. They didnt have fruit salad, yoghurts, selection of cheese or breads.. The cereals were in the mini variety boxes and not in cereal containers as one would expect and they didnt have any muesli. The price for the meagre breakfast cost 30 euro for two people ,which I thought was shocking.. We decided to eat breakfast elsewhere on the second morning.

I entered the room after coming in off the wet streets, and quickest check-in, and was met with a wall of heat emitted from the heater. The room was cosy and well-outfitted, with a kettle, tea-bags, coffees, bottled water and stainless steel tea-spoons, not stirrers or plastic rubbish. The en-suite, though small, was well designed and the layout used the space to it's full potential.
The TV, though smart with services such as Netflix and YouTube as defaults, was not connected to the wi-fi and it had no network settings to rectify the situation, by no means a reason to avoid the place, though. I'm sure that had I asked the staff a solution would have been provided but it didn't phase me enough to bother them about it.

Really nice clean, comfortable hotel. Myself and my partner got a huge room (I guess due to a cancellation or something) so that was a nice surprise :) Great shower, very comfy beds. Very good central location. Very handy to have the car park right outside. I would stay again.
As is stated on the hotel’s page there are a lot of bars and nightclubs nearby so it was loud but I expected that and wasn’t kept up all night as we got to bed pretty late too. However I was woken up a few times in the night by noise in the hotel itself, people yelling and banging doors etc. So the location is great and convenient especially if you’re looking for nightlife but wouldn’t recommend if you’re a very light sleeper.

ALL the staff was amazing!!! Were so friendly, helpful and kind. They all went out of their way to help us with directions to sight seeing, restaurants and with finding a bus to take us directly to our next hotel in Dublin. We had several all day bus trips planned and had to leave before the normal breakfast time a couple of mornings and staff came in early and had a variety of simple breakfast choices & coffees ready for us! Very close to bus line. 😊
Room and bathroom was quite small. Beds were comfortable. Not much closet or storage space in room. Bathroom didn't have counter or shelves to put bath essentials or in the shower. Bathroom & shower were updated and very clean.

The Quarter House was a nice place to stay for a solo or younger couple. It is right in the city and can be a little noisy but this is stated in their descriptions. It was a lovely room very spacious and comfortable. Loads of storage space if you are staying more than a couple of nights the bathroom was a great size and the shower. The parking is in a parking station just a stones throw from the entrance so was very convenient. Everyone was very nice and helpful, I dined at the restaurant next door to the entrance and it was lovely. I would highly recommend the Quarter House and Bar to anyone wanting to be close to the action.
If I was to nit pick it would be the size of the bath towels. However, this seems to be the norm in Ireland. If your any bigger than a child you feel like your drying off with a hand towel. But please don't judge the Quarter on this it's everywhere.

We were looking for a room that was suitable for three adult friends. We picked this property because it had a room with 3 twin beds. To our surprise, there was also a King bed that went along with the three twins! The room was very spacious with coffee and tea facilities - another surprise! It was a very modern room which was well appointed and very clean. The bathroom was very modern and spacious with a place for all our toiletries. The biggest bonus was a complementary breakfast included which we also did not expect but were very pleased with it. The only thing that I could find wrong with this place was that there was not a USB plugin.
Perhaps a USB plugin to charge phones.
