On meeting Daloris it was an upbeat stay. She was so full of life and extremely helpful. The accomadation was amazing with the added bonus of movie star pictures from James Cagney, Humphry Bogart through to Rita Hayworth, also news papers framed telling about the death of America's president JFK and the impact it had on people. We didn't want for anything. The room was small but comfortable and well stocked, hair dryer, TV, and tea/coffee facilities. The breakfast was out of this world, there was such an amazing assortment to choose from. Home made bread, pancakes, cereals, cooked breakfast, fruit, yoghurts, different cheeses and so much more. This was our last day in Ireland and this really topped it off. We couldn't have asked for a better leaving day experience. Thank you so much.
There wasn't anything that we didn't like.

This was a wonderful place with the friendliest and most helpful hosts. Very nice and cozy rooms, comfy beds and all spotlessly clean. A very nice front garden, too, so that to spend good time outside. The hot breakfast was delicious, with a plenty of choice for the continental one. The house is located in a very nice area, just a walking distance from Bunratty castle and Folk park, but also a good starting point to explore County Clare (the Burren, and many more costal villages that are beautiful) and County Limerick. Not so far away from Dingle peninsula, which is another very nice day trip. We will visit again, for sure.

Breakfast was very good with an assortment of options - so much food available. You could see a lot of love and detail had gone into the property with beautiful grounds.
Bathroom was very small and would be difficult to access toilet for a larger person. We went to the later Bunratty Medieval dinner and had hoped to walk home. Although walkable in distance, it is very dark, no lighting or footpaths to walk along - no where to get out of the way if a vehicle was coming. We didn’t feel safe to walk so we ended up driving.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Bunratty Castle Mews B&B. Our hosts, Dolores and Garry, were simply incredible. Nothing was too much effort, and the advice and information they gave us with respect to the area, helped us see places we did not even know about. The breakfasts were simply unbelievable, probably the best we have had in any accommodation we have stayed in over the years. The room exceeded our expectations, the bed was extremely comfortable, the shower and bathroom were perfect, and coffee and milk always available. We will definitely be recommending Bunratty Castle Mews to our friends and family.
Nothing could have been better, we loved every minute and our hosts were fantastic.

Charming B&B just outside of Bunratty. I made the stop here on a road trip from Galway to Kerry. The bed was large and comfortable, plenty of space in the room (including a small drinks refrigerator), and plenty of parking onsite. The morning hosts were friendly, great for a chat, and made a very tasty breakfast. I would love to stay here again.
There's a little bit of clutter in the rooms, like some unplugged appliances (including an old alarm clock, desk fan, and desk light that doesn't work) - honestly not a bother, just strange that they haven't been moved elsewhere.

Bunratty Castle Mews is a short cab ride from Shannon airport, on a beautiful country lane with hooded crows, ravens and blackbirds in the trees, lovely patios in front and in back, several cozy lounges, and an excellent breakfast. I was staying about 5 hours away from Shannon during my 2 weeks in Ireland and needed an affordable room near the airport to make my 12:30pm flight. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room quiet, the bed very comfortable. There are some bars and restaurants and shops within walking distance.
I did not like that I could not stay a few more days. I may need to change my plans for my next trip to Ireland as a result. I was a little tired from just getting there and could not fully enjoy all the charms. Do yourself a favor and pay a visit.

Room was comfortable, clean, some may feel it’s on the smaller side but it had 2 windows with views of greenery and pastures, and was great for me. If you need a place to rest for the night, this fits the bill nicely. Breakfast had a wide array of pastry/sweets, fruit and of course hot breakfast items available as well. Enjoy the entertaining wall art while you eat! Check out the Murphy’s Law poster. Guarantee something on there will make you chuckle.
The name can be misleading. While it itself is not a castle, it is located less than 3minutes from Bunratty Castle. Great place to rest before doing your site-seeing, on a full stomach :)

We were greeted by a lovely cheerful lady who immediately made us feel at home.. there was nothing you could think of that isn't supplied including massage chairs in the hallway/corridor leading to the bedrooms.. a lot of places you have to ask for extra brewing tackle but anything you need is there to help yourself to... outside is a garden room/gazebo with fridge to use... Saying breakfast was magnificent doesn't do it justice there was everything you can imagine.. fruit of any kind(juice/melon,kiwi,apple,orange, satsuma, grapes, blueberries, raspberries, cranberries)/yoghurts/breads/pastries/croissants/cereals/cheeses/meats/buns/cakes/preserves... not forgetting the full Irish too)(I've never eaten so well in my life so much so I felt like royalty)... the gentleman(husband..guilty as didn't get his name)serving was extremely attentive and polite .. We will 1 million % return again as we hope to see more of my husband's family history in Limerick as didn't get to look up all we wanted...
Absolutely nothing to dislike...we left with a huge smile on our faces remembering our 2 short days there

Was spending a few days in Galway with my friends and our flight was changed resulting in us flying the night before our initial plans. What a bonus it was because we stayed at this hotel and it was just lovely. We felt we were transported to a very comfortable family home. Dolores was very kind and welcoming, we were arriving late and she left us clear instructions on how to enter the property and where our room was. The room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was fantastic. Very well looked after during our short stay and definitely worth a visit if you are staying over on this area.
Loved everything

Breakfast was wonderful - hot eggs/ham made to order and a lovely buffet of cold items and pastries. The room was nice, bathroom very clean. The yard is gorgeous with so many potted plants and bushes and areas to sit and relax. Even a gazebo we sat under to relax. You can walk to the Bunratty castle (950m one way) but it's a little too far for my knee so we had to drive. The photos already posted show how nice the property is.
There's nothing we didn't like about this b&b.
