It met expectations, the price was fair and the room was nice, clean and had everything we needed. You get what you pay for and I am thoroughly pleased with our stay. The gentlemen at the front desk were friendly, firm, but friendly. The breakfast was mid tier as expected for a free breakfast. I was extremely grateful for it and appreciate the upkeep on it. They kept it stocked and ready.

Although there was no smoking signs everywhere, the halls smelled strongly of weed. Although I'm not against it, I would not have wanted my children there with such a strong odor permeating the entire place. I don't expect perfection from a hotel with a fair price, so I don't think its something to complain about that much, once we got in our room it wasn't an issue.

The location was perfect for our trip. The hotel is situated at the end of a street nap no excessive thru traffic all hours of the night. The breakfast was good. It was your basic hot breakfast: waffle, bacon, eggs and sausage. The rooms were clean. The turn down service was unexpected. Seems everyone quit doing that after Covid.

The air didn’t seem to keep the room at a steady temperature. We were hot then cold and hot again for the first half of the night. Maybe from everyone returning to their rooms, I don’t know. It wasn’t unbearable.

The staff and housekeepers were great. The room was clean, beds were comfortable. We went out for the day and came back to the room completely serviced and everything had been completely stocked, cleaned and beds remade. Great location and very close to Carowinds. Will definitely stay here again.

Immaculate doesn’t begin to tell you how clean this place was. Beds were comfy, place was quiet. Bathroom was beautiful and water pressure and temperature was amazing. Staff were polite and friendly. Value was well worth the few dollars more from the Motel 6 we started in just around the corner.

It’s an older hotel but very clean and in good condition. It’s super close to Carowinds and that is why we chose to stay there. The staff was very nice and accommodating. There’s a free continental breakfast. There’s also a Jimmy John’s, a Culver’s and a Mexican restaurant within walking distance.

The beds weren’t super comfortable but not bad.

Location is fantastic! My spouse and I came in to the area to go to Carowinds. We could even see the park from just outside of the parking lot! The only negative is that the hotel is hard to see from the main road, and my GPS got a little confused. The lobby, hallways, and room were remarkably clean! I never ask for spotless, but it absolutely was! Everything over, behind, and under. Even behind the microwave was clean and dust free!

We did ask for an extra pillow and blanket in the middle of the night on our first night, but the linen closet was locked and no one had access to it. We then asked the front desk the next morning to have those items brought to our room that day, which we didn't end up getting. The bed was also a little firm for our liking, and my spouse couldn't really get comfortable for 2 nights of our 3 night stay.

The room was spacious, all basic amenities were there. A good budget friendly place to stay.

I guess the breakfast was really basic and the service area was pretty small. The breakfast area could accommodate only 10-12 people at a time. We had to sit close to the automatic door and it kept opening as we moved in the chair and let cold air in. Please move the breakfast area if possible.

The room and bathroom were extremely clean, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel was quiet and the location convenient. Breakfast was nice. Decent variety.

Coffee station could have been better stocked. There were no lids and no hot decaf coffee at breakfast.

I’ve been staying here for a long time it’s very convenient when I go pick up My Son and it’s very cozy I guess I came on a bad day my last trip because the breakfast was not that great hopefully next time I have better luck

Stayed 2 nights. 1st morning they had 2 meats & no eggs. Food was cold, but 2nd morning had bacon & eggs and were on warmers. Pretty good selection.

Got 2 rooms 1st night ea w/1 king size bed. We needed 2 beds in one of the rooms. Called the front desk right away & they wouldn't switch one of the rooms. Wanted to chg us extra $25 for a rollaway bed instead.
