Location is perfect, in the middle of "everything" to discover. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and service oriented. Passionately helped to answer all of our questions and interests. Parking facility is limited, but they offered parking at a partner hotel in 100m free of charge. The room was right size, furniture is a bit dated, but high comfort and clean. Breakfast is a wide selection and delicious. Perfect for 2-3 days stays. We have got a nice local product at checkout - a gift that made even your last day.

The SPA did not attract me. The pool is small, the environment is not attractive. Just checked the room, but did not stay. Not a big deal, I think people visit Bled to be outside :)

We had problems getting to hotel Lovec arriving at 3am. We were greeted by a receptionist who got us into our rooms really quickly and efficiently. The rooms overlooking lake Bled are excellent with a small but adequate balcony. The staff were exceptional from reception, breakfast, and room service. The breakfast had so many choices and quality products that we didn't need lunch.The hotel allowed us to keep our rooms for an extra hour to allow a slightly later checkout. I would completely recommend this hotel. The position from the beautiful lake Bled is less than a five minute walk. Transport links to Vintgar Gorge and our onward journey to Ljubljana were all close by.

Excellent staff. I arrived early and was allowed in the room as it was ready. I was leaving early the next morning and they arranged a picnic breakfast for me to take. The on site restaurant had good food and was especially convenient since it was raining heavily when I wanted dinner. Very close to Lake Bled, other restaurants and easy walk to the bus station. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was good.

Only a little thing - the sliding door to the balcony has an unusual mechanism that was difficult to use.

We had a nice stay here. Overall the hotel needs a little upgrade but we enjoyed our time. We used the pool which was nice on a rainy afternoon. The breakfast buffet had amazing selection so highly recommend before departing for a day of adventure. We had a beautiful view of the lake with a balcony to enjoy viewing it from. The beds were comfy and location was great. We were able to get parking out the front twice during out stay which was in summer high season (we tried to reserve parking a week in advance and was told it was already fully booked). With a little upgrading this place would be a 5*.

-Friendly, helpful staff in all areas, especially Spela at reception who helped us with a number of things, including contacting an attraction for us to help re-schedule a visit, as we don’t speak Slovenian! -The swimming pool, hot tub, Turkish steam bath and Finnish saunas were a DREAM to get into after long days out, often days with challenging hikes in the mountains -The room was very cozy and comfortable, tastefully decorated and with a beautiful view of Lake Bled -Excellent, consistent turn-down service by housekeeping staff -Access to English-language TV, including the ones with my favorite British mystery shows—very nice to chill out to in the evenings -Close to many good restaurants, bars and shopping -Close to bus stops (including the free shuttles) where you can get buses out to Lake Bohinj, Vintgar Gorge and pretty much anywhere else you might want to visit from Bled as a day trip or next destination -THE BREAKFAST BAR!!! Probably the best I’ve ever seen at this price point! Come to the breakfast table hungry—you won’t regret it. And the dining room is lovely.

-Bed was a bit too soft for my taste, but nothing that would deter me from staying here again -The shower faucet was overly sensitive—you barely touch it and it shifts, thus changing the water temperature, sometimes dramatically to extremely hot or cold if you accidentally hit it with your hands or arms while showering

This was a good Lake Bled hotel option, with on-site parking and a breakfast buffet available. The room itself was small, but had everything we needed for a 2-night stay. We also had a balcony with a view towards the lake and Bled Castle. The view was obstructed, but it was still there! The hotel has an indoor pool and hot tub, too, and was within walking distance to the lake and plenty of restaurants.

Hotels in Lake Bled can be very pricey during high season compared to what you get. Everything here from the room to the breakfast buffet was just fine, but nothing super fancy or memorable.

The location is great. Right in the center of Bled. Few mins walking from Straza, the lake and restaurants. Breakfast was nice. Many choices. Free parking in the hotel and in case no available parking, you can park in another hotel only 3 mins walking, which saves lots of money in Bled.

When we arrived we didn't have enough towels to all of us in the room and the hotel didn't have ones to give us. Same next day,plus no cleaning service. The bath jad no door or curtain so yhe water splat all over. The pool is very small and in a closed area. Jacuzzi was not working

We stayed at Hotel Lovec for a week last year and had such a great time in Lake Bled and Slovenia that we booked again. The hotel is great - fantastic breakfast, friendly and helpful staff and a nice pool. One morning they had run out of hot chocolate for breakfast and they offered to go and get some for the children. The front desk was also really helpful with my elderly mother. Would highly recommend, it is a great place to base yourself.

If you are driving, parking in the garage can be quite tight.

Breakfast was terrific, the room size was okay, pretty comfortable. What I liked the most was the view we had from the lake (pretty nice to wake up with that view), and the swimming pool. They gave us a present once we left the hotel, which was a nice detail.

mini fridge didn't cool things properly and the room was too hot all the time. The air conditioning was too noisy and when we moved the chairs it was too noisy too, we could hear moving chairs from other rooms.

Great location, close to the lake, minutes from plenty of restaurants, and a few minutes from Bled Union bus stop. Staff were unfailingly kind and professional, and check-in and check-out were very efficient. We booked a room with a balcony with a lake view, which was totally worth it; the view was lovely, and the balcony was sheltered, so even when it rained we could sit on the balcony and enjoy the view in the dry. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable; it was very quiet and we slept well. Breakfast had a large selection and the quality was high. Would stay there again without hesitation.
