The location of the hotel is good. An easy walk to the old town and castle, shops and restaurants. The breakfast was sufficient, fresh and enjoyable. The owners were lovely people, chatty and interesting, with time for all their guests. We were taken to the train station when we left which was a great help for us with all our heavy luggage. Our room was spacious and light with a great view of the recently flooded river and lawn areas. Our bed was comfortable and the hotel made for a peaceful stay. Lovely detail throughout the hotel mostly done by the owners themselves makes for a nice vibe and ambience within the hotel. A gem of a hotel in beautiful Skofja Loka.

An excellent guesthouse by the river in Skofja Loka, a quiet and pretty town that is well located for visiting the lakes, mountains and main city. Our bedroom was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast room decorated in a modern mountain chalet style and the overall impression is one of good quality with attention to detail. Breakfast was very pleasant. The biggest bonus are the owners - charming, friendly people who are also great for advice on activities and places to dine locally.

Absolutely fabulous location - in a beautiful town. The hotel is simply stunning - I don't think the photos on the website do it justice. We had a room overlooking the river, with a full-length balcony. We did not meet the staff at arrival (everything was ready in the lobby), but they were there for breakfast - which is fabulous (and they are great ambassadors for their town and Slovenia)!

The owners of this small hotel are the most friendly, caring and engaged hotel hosts (owners & operators at the same time) I've ever met. They were super helpful, outgoing, flexible. They provided us with a lot of advise regarding what to visit, where to it, what to avoid. They gave us a good bike map. The owner help me with a flat tire without even asking him for it. True friends for their guests. The hotel has a very boutique style, just 10 or so rooms, small room for breakfasts. Everything clean, nicely decorated with good quality furniture - combination of modern and rustic. Air conditioning worked well and helped us keep the temperature at the proper level despite >30 deg C outside every day. There was a storage place for bikes, charging stations for electric cars and sockets for charging ebikes. The hotel is located at the edge of the Old Town of Skofja Loka - restaurants, shops, castle, etc. - all within short walking distance. The selection during the breakfast was not big, but everything provided was of a very good quality. When we asked the owner for a warm sausages (not only eggs), they started providing in from the next day. I brought once my own grapes to mix them with jogurt (normally they provided peach, banana and apples) and when the owner noticed it, they started providing also grapes for all the guests. They really cared.

The only drawback I noticed is related to the location of the hotel - it's very close to the bridge opposite to a milk processing company. It can be quite noisy at times, so if your room has windows to that direction (of of ours had), better keep them shut during the night.

Beautiful new-build hotel by the river’s edge, in immaculate gardens yet only a minute or two from the start of the historic old town. Comfortable room, very easy parking, excellent breakfast. The owners are very friendly and helpful hosts; and we appreciated their recommendation to eat at pr’Pepet just up the road - wonderful.

Tatjana and Bostjan run a wonderful relatively new hotel, one of our best stays in Slovenia. The interior is stunning, it exudes quality and a great eye for detail. Our room was large, with a couch to sit on, very roomy modern bathroom. Spotlessly clean. Good breakfast. Very nice terrace out on the back where we could relax in the evenings, with an adjoining garden set on the river. The location is excellent on the edge of the small historical center, own parking and it makes an great base to explore the Skofja Loka area/western parts of Slovenia. Knowledgeable hosts which take their time to provide you with ample information and options for itineraries.

Everything. Skofia Loka is a gorgeous medieval town. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The hotel facilities are lovely, especially the terrace. Breakfast was generous and amazingly good. The hosts were kind to make breakfast for our early departure. The best scrambled eggs ever!

We had only one night here. Longer would have been better.

Everything was perfect for us. The well designed and cosy little hotel is located central and run by very nice and helpful hosts. We slept very well in great beds and had a very nice and perfectly offered breakfast. We've got all what we needed for our short stop in the surprising and interesting town of Skofja Loka. And we surely come back again.

Zamorc is nicely located close to old city centre but also 5 minutes from nice countryside for walks and cycling. Breakfast is good and broad selection and owners are very helpfull in suggestions ro make your stay one to remember. We stayed in a spacious family room with perfect view on river and mountains in background.

spacious room with lovely balcony. shower was really powerful. breakfast with any type of eggs to order was so plentiful it lasted us all day. we were there for 8 nights & every day talking with Tatjana & Bosjan to get their recomendations of where to visit, eat & see were highly appreciated as we had a week of heavy rain! they are the perfect hosts.
