Our two-night stay at this hotel was absolutely delightful! Nestled amidst nature yet conveniently close to the city center, it offered the best of both worlds - a peaceful retreat just a 30-minute drive from the CBD. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. Priscila, Winnie, and Kathe were incredibly accommodating and made us feel right at home. Plus, their adorable dachshunds, Papi and Gabi, added an extra dose of charm to our experience! The location is perfect for nature lovers, with easy access to Beau Constantia and scenic hiking trails. And let's talk about breakfast - it was a delicious spread that left us energized for our adventures. Convenience is key, and this hotel nailed it with its proximity to the hoho bus stop, making sightseeing a breeze for tourists like us. To top it all off, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary sparkling wine and chocolate, making our post-wedding trip even more special. Special thanks, Kathe! Overall, our stay was nothing short of amazing, thanks to the wonderful staff, serene surroundings, and thoughtful touches that made our experience truly unforgettable. We can't wait to return!

We were two families staying at the lodge - with some hungry athletes - we all loved the breakfast and the portions were huge and the variety and the setting was amazing . Really one of the best breakfasts we've had in a long time .

This is not lodge issue but the Uber and public transport was very poor - we had to ask a restaurant owner to take us home one night as the UBDER will keep on cancelling the trips .The transport was generally an issue .

beautiful property, lovely place to unwind and relax. the owner is very kind accommodating and went the extra mile to make sure we were looked after and kindly extended our room for an exceptionally late checkout. we left her a bottle of wine to say thanks - hopefully she got it!!

there wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property but I think it is worth noting that there are 3 lovely sausage dogs that live on site and they have no qualms coming in to your room for a cuddle and a play. as a dog owner I loved this, but if you are someone that does not like dogs it could be a bit of a surprise. poppy was our favourite out of the dogs!

Good breakfast, stunning views and great location in Constantia wine region. Also quick access to city or airport. Friendly and attentive staff.

Quite some things which detracted from a 4 star rated accommodation - bathroom towels were fraying, bathroom taps were loose and the shower drain took long to drain the water. Parking was also quite a mission with no clear demarcations and limited space.

Wonderful stay here. Had a family-vibe. The breakfast was delicious and I loved the freedom to use the coffee machine at any time. The staff were lovely. Amazing views.

Personally, I wasn't keen on the animal skins and heads everywhere. It was quite upsetting to see. But I wouldn't downgrade it for that, as it is clear from the photos that this was to be expected.

We stayed in the self catering cottage. Beautiful views from the private balcony, comfy bed, very tasty breakfast. Nice to be able to use the lounge of the main guesthouse. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very close to Chefs Warehouse where we went for dinner as well as to Constantia Nek to access hiking trails.

Great location for exploring the greener part of Cape Town, i.e. the Hout bay, Stelenbosch botanical garden and climbing the Table mountain, as well as for relaxing on the sunny terrace with a view on the Constantia wineyards and part of the city. Very big, well designed room, comfortable bed and shared terrace. Very good breakfast on the terrace with great views on greenery, mountains and part of the city.

Nothing to really complaint about, other than power cuts, which are out of the control of accomodation. Booking.com should mention that breakfast is available.

An absolutely fab experience from start to finish, in our first stay in SA on our honeymoon trip. I can not fault anything. The breakfast was excellent, staff takes care of every minor detail and conscious about the guests comfort. The room and lodge are 5 stars. We didn’t understand how much of a spoil it is going to be, ESPECIALLY after getting the kindest assistance from Kathe (host) with refining a neat itinerary for us. Thanks for an unforgettable stay, we will definitely come back!

Magical place nestled underneath table mountain. Very close to so many tasty restaurants and loads of great hikes nearby. A special shout out to the two little dachshunds who played tennis with us on the most scenic tennis court. The breakfast and staff were 10/10. It was a brilliant stay. I would highly recommend to stay here if you are visiting Cape Town.
