Staff were very friendly and helpful Good breakfast options Right near the sea front Room was really big, spacious and modern

- The rooftop pool wasn’t as impressive as the pictures and it felt a bit run down but the bar staff were really attentive and good sunbeds. - could be more wardrobe space and hangers but very minor issue - the hotel seemed more suitable for families (due to the play area) the rooms aren’t very sound proof so if you’re on that side of the hotel you can hear the play and bar area - whilst our room was cleaned in the day, the window was opened (assuming to air the room) - the hotel should ensure guests have utmost security and cleaners leave windows locked.

Exceptional Stay with Delicious Meals and Convenient Parking! We recently stayed at The Hyde Hotel and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. The breakfast each morning was a true highlight—fresh, diverse, and delicious! The staff were attentive and made sure everything was replenished promptly. In addition to the wonderful breakfast, we also had the pleasure of dining at the hotel’s restaurant. The meal was exquisite, with perfectly cooked dishes. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy yet refined, and the service was impeccable. A magnificent view from the restaurant of Lion’s Head and the ocean. One of the most convenient features of the hotel was the secure basement parking. It made arriving and departing hassle-free, especially knowing that my car was safe and easily accessible throughout my stay. Overall, I highly recommend The Hyde Hotel for its excellent service, delicious food, and practical amenities like the basement parking. I look forward to staying here again!

The property is a bit outdated, but still well maintained

this a return visit to the Hyde.. e Celle to Position, just a Short Walk to the Sea Point promenade and not too far from the famous Pool. Restaurants in the popular main road just up the street.. the rooftop bar and restaurant.. the pool on the roof with spectacular views of Signal Hill and Lions Head.. and yes you do have a view of the ocean. The studio Or Executive suites are spacious and clean .. well equipped..and if things does not match up .. just call the staff and they will attend to your queries immediately or within a short span of time.. the GM, House keeping and all the staff was just awesome … don’t wait to write a negative comment when you are back home .. confront the management on the property and enjoy your stay at this amazing hotel ..and yes.. there is safe parking for your vehicle..

could rearrange the light switches.. was a bit confusing .. not all to happy about the TV … but then again it is my opinion .. the Spa area could do with an upgrade and better trained personnel .. forgot to mention that to management

The Staff stood out to me when I jumped out of the car to run in and ask where my husband could park, they were fast and efficient to help. Special shout out to Ashley who was always around the corner to help with whatever we needed. My daughter left her jewelry on the breakfast table and Ashley returned it to us before we even realized we left it. Moving from your car to the room with the lift is easy. The room was unlike any other we stayed in for the price class. It is huge and is more like a small apartment with a stove, microwave, and fridge. Our bed was very comfortable and the bonus was an extra room in the suite with a bed for my daughter. The Shower was Luxiorius and felt like a mini spa. Breakfast was amazing and they even had Mimosas. Check-out was quick and painless. Will definitely visit again and highly recommend The Hyde Hotel.

The only thing was that there were other guests being very noisy and loud at night.

A very central stay close to the V&A waterfront located in the heart of the city in Sea point area. It hosted a roof top restaurant, a very good breakfast spread. Hotel staff was courteous and attentive to our needs. The suite was huge with a full stacked kitchen appliances. The hotel is tastefully kept and was indeed a value for money for the price we paid

Our room was locked from inside on one of the days. The staff managed to open it through the bathroom window but none of us had a clue as to how the door stopper gt entangled in the knob which did not allow the door to open

The rooms were impeccably clean with no unpleasant odors. The hotel staff were the best part of my stay. They were incredibly friendly and attentive. Special mentions go to Eddie, the restaurant manager, Melindie, the sales & revenue manager, Sharma, the operations manager, and the housekeeping manager. Everyone, from receptionists to housekeepers, was super friendly. The hotel's location is fantastic, with Radisson Blu opposite and various shops, restaurants, and businesses nearby. The Sea Point promenade is just a short walk away. The hotel also features a gym and a rooftop bar/pool. Breakfast was a buffet with the option to make specific requests from the kitchen, which were promptly fulfilled.

While the amenities were good, I wished the bathrooms had a handheld shower head instead of just an overhead shower, which made showering a bit challenging for me

The breakfast was terrific, and the brown lemingtons were so heavenly. As a solo female, the location is safe and offers easy access to the promenade if you someone who prefers to take a walk or exercise outdoors. Requesting an uber at any time was also seemless and access to major tourist spots within 10-15 minutes. The staff were pleasant and rooms were cleaned daily. I was offered a late checkout at a minial cost which which served me well !

Cathie From Kenya. We had an excellent time at the Hyde Hotel. Very classy hotel, It was a family trip and my son was overjoyed. The weather didn't allow him to swim at the rooftop pool, He got to play at the playground. Very nice meals, very nice staff. Mr. Tiaan handled us with so much care and respect. We will definitely come back and recommend someone. Thanks bookings.com. I always rely on you for good hotels.
