Staff were very friendly and helpful Good breakfast options Right near the sea front Room was really big, spacious and modern

- The rooftop pool wasn’t as impressive as the pictures and it felt a bit run down but the bar staff were really attentive and good sunbeds. - could be more wardrobe space and hangers but very minor issue - the hotel seemed more suitable for families (due to the play area) the rooms aren’t very sound proof so if you’re on that side of the hotel you can hear the play and bar area - whilst our room was cleaned in the day, the window was opened (assuming to air the room) - the hotel should ensure guests have utmost security and cleaners leave windows locked.

this a return visit to the Hyde.. e Celle to Position, just a Short Walk to the Sea Point promenade and not too far from the famous Pool. Restaurants in the popular main road just up the street.. the rooftop bar and restaurant.. the pool on the roof with spectacular views of Signal Hill and Lions Head.. and yes you do have a view of the ocean. The studio Or Executive suites are spacious and clean .. well equipped..and if things does not match up .. just call the staff and they will attend to your queries immediately or within a short span of time.. the GM, House keeping and all the staff was just awesome … don’t wait to write a negative comment when you are back home .. confront the management on the property and enjoy your stay at this amazing hotel ..and yes.. there is safe parking for your vehicle..

could rearrange the light switches.. was a bit confusing .. not all to happy about the TV … but then again it is my opinion .. the Spa area could do with an upgrade and better trained personnel .. forgot to mention that to management

Large apartments, extremely friendly staff everywhere, especially a lady with orange hair at breakfast - insanely great service!

The property is a bit outdated, but still well maintained

Experience was phenomenal- I was not feeling well, so Susan or Sally (Receptionist) allowed me to check in an hour earlier. Rooms were immaculate and clean Foood - breakfast was 5 star Great ambiance

Oh my goodness - get rid of that Spa. Its putting a shame to the entire brand. It doesnt align with the Hyde Hotel. Either you get rid of Purple Orchid or upgrade those facilities. Its giving champagne but at a budget budget. That was the only bad experience. I really regretted going there. Other hotels partner with brands like Camelot. Very underwhelmed and disappointed

The appartment was spacious and had all important features like fridge, watercooker, daily cleaning and a nice bathroom. Cleaning of the room could be better. Wifi was good. Breakfast was fine not special. A big plus is that you can park your car save on the property. Staff was friendly. Pool restaurant on the roof is the place to be and served nice food as well. Nice view, Hotel was for me on walking distance for the waterfront area which was a 30min walk. Go for sure to the bar around the corner, the office, they have the best burgers in town. It comes close to a sports bar.

Perfect location. Walking distance to beach and promenade and always felt safe. Room was clean and modern just as on website. It had the best of both, hotel and bnb/home vibe. Restaurants available on premise and cooking available in hotel room. Was allowed to check in early based on availability. Staff always friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was great. Had beautiful pool area with view of Mountain.Overall stay was great and I would recommend this place

The Location is perfect for working in the CBD. It is also very close to the promenade and restaurants. Seems to be a very safe area. The room were spectacular. Great layout and décor. Breakfast was very good every day. There was a good variety and the food was tasteful. The lady that cleaned my apartment (Laura) were great. Very friendly and helpful.

I had a noisy neighbor on Saturday evening that were parting until after 2am. Management did try and assist, by reprimanding them twice!

The staff was amazing,from check-in to Check-out. Everything you needed and asked for was always given and they are always going the extra mile to cater for your needs.I loved their breakfast option and the fact that I could have my meals in My room. The rooftop bar was also a plus for me as I didn't need to leave the hotel to go grab a drinks Definitely enjoyed my stay. :) 11/10

I just needed a socket near my bed and the fact that the telephone was far from the bed..

We loved the location,very walkable with easy access to shops,restaurants and the beach. The breakfast was excellent. The amenities for both adults and children were very good. Pool deck has a great view of Table mountain,Lions Head and Signal Hill as well as ocean.

Extra sofa for lounging as well as larger fridge. Very noisy in area above 605 and 606 at night until 11pm. Sounds of staff cleaning and talking after restaurant next to pool closes.

The hotel was very good and the people made it better, especially Ashley and Tian. They were always ready to listen and made sure our stay was comfortable. The hotel was close to all the attractions - Table mountain, Signal hill V&A waterfront. The breakfast spread was awesome. Hotel provided secured parking and lift access. So really happy we chose Hyde !
